Sun Jian is my alltime favorite character even though he really doesn't get much attention from people since he met his end abit early in history. He is awesome, he is a ruler and a family valued ruler unlike others. Come and talk about the might of the Tiger that brought fourth the creation of one of the strongest nations. |

His musou pretty much is a what happened if he lived musou. Sun Jian's moveset, though similar to Cao Cao's, Liu Bei's, DOng Zhuo and Yuan Shao's is slightly more effective. |

Yes truly a gr8 leader of men and warriors. his move set is familiar, i never knw why but i gess its down to him being a leader like cao cao etc. although he had a short life evryone must agree it was not out lived or wasted. |

I like Sun Jian. I think he is swift and strong character to use. His musou is okay to use because of it's power but it's not a very good for crowd clearer. |

Sun Jian is great. His musou is good, but too bad his C6 ruins him. He would have been better off with the C6 shockwave or something better. |

I think his moveset is superior to Liu Bei's and better than Cao Cao's, the best Ruler with a sword, that much is certain to me. |

I think he was crushed by a rock by Liu Biao's strategist in the Novel and In history, I think the arrow thing is just for the DW game. |

Sun Jian is a great man !!! I like him because in DW4, he alway has a cool smiling face (fearless?). And he is a good father too (see his 3 incredible childrens?).I wish Sun Jian were my daddy

To me Sun Jian is the very lucky peasant, and that it was all Sun Ce's doing that brought about Wu, and Sun Ce only got an army becaue he traded troops for the imperial seal, which he found (This guy is very very lucky too), so what did Sun Jian Really do? For the Ruler movesets I'd say that Sun Jian has the worst! Yes it is a ruler moveset, but Lui Bei's is better, and if you ever played DW3 and got Cao Cao's 4th weapon then you'll know he has the best. |

What Sun Jian did was risk his life to fight the Yellow Turbans. He is no greater nor lousier than the other rulers. If you say it was luck that helped him start the kingdom, then it was also luck that Liu bei became sworn brothers with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and managed to start a kingdom with their ability, and luck that got Cao Cao's father adopted by a eunuch, hence making Cao Cao born into the aristocratic world, and giving him connections. |

To me, all the rulers have their share of luck. The emperor would never have known that Liu Bei was his uncle if Liu bei had not met Cao Cao, he would not have met Cao cao if he didn't team up with him to whack Lu Bu, he could not whack Lu bu if Zhang Fei hadn't stolen Lu Bu's horses. In short, if Liu bei had not met Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, he would not have gone on the Yellow Turbans thing, never make a name for himself and etc, hence Tao Qian would not have entrusted him with Xiao pei, and most probably Liu Bei would've carried on selling slippers at Mulberry village. |

Sun Jian is a well balanced character, with an okay musou and good attacks. I think he'd make good use in most of the scenarios and I especially like his True Musou attack with the fire. Needless to say, he's a great character to use. |

Pretty much. He was lucky to be born to the Imperial Line. That says nothing of his ability. That was just the die that was cast for him. Historically, Sun Jian is the only person to defeat Dong Zhuo's forces in the entire coalition (and only one of a handful to actually bother fighting him - Liu Bei didn't even so much as send a single soldier against Dong Zhuo, not because he didn't oppose him, but because he and Gongsun Zan were too far away to be of any use). Sun Jian pretty much singlehandedly defeated Dong Zhuo at Luyang and Dagu Pass and also defeated Lu Bu a few times. That takes more than luck. |

I'm sure many, well most people, hate his voice from DW5:XL, but do any of you like his voice in Dynasty Warriors 5?? Its awesome IMO.
