His character, the fact that he's a dad, and that he goes around calling himself the "Tiger of Jiang Dong." Makes me laugh. Especially his newest voice. I crack up. His moves are pretty good too. His new look is a story in itself. So, basically Sun Jian brings a smile to my face. Makes me laugh!

Well DW6 Sun Jian is like 100x better than DW5. Better design, better story, better moveset, everthing is just better IMO. Never has been this cool. And it seems that the badass-ness that has taken over Jian, has seeped down into his sons and daughter as well. Sun Jian FTW!!!

His personality did not stand out for me and the fact that he was not in very many battles didnt help. His moveset was ok but was fairly generic which could have been better. The WO VA was horrible <_< Everything sounded stupid especially when he said "momentum" urgg I cringed I think his character design in DW6 is a huge improvement, it certainly makes him different from the other rulers. The scimitar suits him well and if his moveset is good then I will probably start to like him more

KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	Well, here's my first disapointment in DW6. I'm not impressed at all with Sun Jian. I like the helmetless look and his new armor, but the fighting style, and story I'm not too keen on. His story just plays him out as basically "The Blade of the Han". He harbors no ambition of his own like previous incarnations. The whole Han must live thing really doesn't suit the Tiger. What happened to Wu in his story? I'll tell you, there is no Wu. Even in the end, he just bows to the emperor. Not at all what I expected of the few who actually got a musou mode. The other sword types seem to get more out of their technique than he does. His style seems too close to his body for me, alot of vertical and not much horizontal. That makes facing guys like Cao Ren hard for him. Even the preceding to his musou ender is lackluster. Sure it gets flamed up and looks cool, but it really doesn't do much. He's basically become the old Lu Meng of swords. His triangle 4 and 5 are decent as well as his musou ender, but outside of those, he hasn't much to clear a crowd. Not nearly as dissapointing as the DW5 version where they screwed him with that light weapon and no attack bonus, but still, could have done him better. The WO Tadakatsu voice is starting to grow on me, but not much though.

His attacks are very frontal which is good, but his charge attack range from fast to slow, but its a definate improvement.

I liked the old Sun Jian as well but the new look he has going on in 6 makes him more bad ass. I also like the improvement on his moveset and musou as well.

I always liked Sun Jian, and wish he lived longer. His moveset was cool in DW5 and stuff, and his voice acting is GREAT. I liked his model in all the games too.
