Well, I guess that's that. With todays official announcement, while he IS confirmed to be in the game, he once again doesn't get his own story and is Free Mode ONLY. Thanks Koei. For allowing us to stupidly raise our hopes after seeing his CG only to get some sense knocked into us again. |

Well, despite him not having a story AGAIN, I'm glad to see his return. I'm also happy that his appearance and character, IMO, seems to be heading less feminine. I prefer the idea of him just being very young over the idea that he's completely effeminate. I hope that's where his character will lead. |

@Seraphil: I guess I was to riddled up at that point, but I partly stand by that words still, as I've also stated in the general SW3 topic. I do not consider them being honest with it, as they didn't prepare us for this from the start, but made it seem as if he has a story and only told us about a month before the release of the game. I guess I'm partly influenced by my job too, because I'm occassionally helping out in the marketing department of my company as well, and while it's slightly different as we only got 'big' customers, if we had done something like that, giving an information that let our customers to think that we made something, even if we didn't clearly expressed it that way... Well, not only would there be hell, complaints and a lot of angry customers, but we might risk loosing all of them except maybe for a few regulars. It's just a no-no between companies, so why do some companies feel that it is okay to do to privat customers? But this is the wrong topic I guess. It's supposed to be about Ranmaru. Now that I've slept over it, I'm having a few thoughts on how Koei could make up for that blunder too me, but for now I'll just wait and see what the final product being released will be. So. Let's get back to the man this topic is supposed to be about  Did anyone notice the green and purple ring around his neck? I think it was especially clearly visible on the second picture of his attack style on the official page. I think the greenish one could be jade and if I remember correctly that was supposed to protect from evil spirits/demons. It made me grin from one ear to the other, because... Isn't it a bit funny to wear that when you are serving the 'demon' lord?
