Come here to talk about my favorite character from the DW series. The turban wearing holy man from the kingdom of Wei, Xu Huang. He , to me, seemed to be the most loyal and most honorable man from the Wei army with Zhang Liao and Cao Ren next to him, but let me know what you all think of him. |

yea Xu Huang was very hororable. I think he was a true warrior of Wei, he was a match to Guan Yu in battle and in strengh and mind Cao Cao refered Xu Huang as 'a match for Sun Tzu' Xu Huangs battle moveset is't bad either, I use him alot on DW5:E. His SSSSST is a real crowd killer. |

Yeah he is the best to have when the enemy has numbers opn their side because he won't retreat unless he REALLY has too. No one can run from becoming a notch on his great axe. |

his c3 can maul people down and covers alot of distance while his true musou cover alot of distance like gan ning. |

Xu Huang has been one of my favorite general's since I played DW3. He should go back to DW3 though, he looked and his V.A. was better. |

I rarely play him, but his weapon seems cool. He reminds me of Kenshin from Samurai Warriors. |

I think Xu Huang is an acceptable player, not the best, not the worst, if he wasn't so slow at running and swinging, he wouldn't be so low in my list, I have a thing with speed, I need it

I like the fact that he always arrives late lol. But thats about it. He was my second favourite character from Dynasty Warriors 3, but after his drastic appearance change, my view on him has gone way down and I am a bit upset about it. His younger look needs to return even if he is friends with Guan Yu! |

I think this guy is great, was going to start a topic for him if not one already - so please forgive the bump. "Let me show you my strength" - Funny how he slurs the s's a little, although I loved this guys voice actor in Dynasty Warriors 5 (does Cao Pi too) - the same dude that done Lino En Kuldes, the great wild king of Obel from Suikoden IV! I'm also so damn glad he has a Poleaxe, such a unique brilliant weapon - I'd hate to see it get changed in DW6. His move-set isn’t the best, but he has some great C-clearing attacks and well Jump + Triangle is just fascinating swinging around like a death-copter! He is a great enjoyable character to use and a necessary part of the Wei army. |

Xu Huang is for sure one of my favorites in Wei! I said to a friend of mine on here, that if Dian Wei or Xu Huang were to lose the axe, then the other should keep his! So you can guess what I hope for Xu Huang's weapon to be :P. I mean at least someone in the game needs to keep/get an axe, it is one of the cooler weapons IMHO! |

Xu Huang is a great character. Everything about him including his musou I enjoy. But I really don't like his speed. Giant axe yes, very slow, ugh. I always give him a horse, I find him too powerful to by that slow. I didn't like his musou mode in DW5. But nonetheless a great character. |

This character is great. Its just he is to slow. His move set ain't that bad and his personality is awesome. He is the Master Of War and I am not sure but I don't think he defeated Guan yu :lol: |

I think this guy is average. His personality has never stood out much to me and his moveset is ok but there are better. That move which is like a helicopter is funny
His character design is another thing I dont like I dont know why though. I hope he is good in DW6 and has the same VA as DW5, I liked that
 He's probably one of the worst reinforcements in the game too!

Easily one of Wei's best. Has good attacks and great range. Not to mention decent speed and an interesting story. And the dagger axe in DW6 has really grown on me. It looks even cooler and is still pretty friggin big. Plus he has the best halberd moveset of all in DW6. All of his costumes rocked, and his VAs have been consistantly good, although they change a lot. Here's to hoping that he continues to rock.

Hey, I AM Xu Huang........on the Koei RP that is. :lol: He's easily my favorite Wei officer. He's kinda like me; quiet, does what needs to be done, never really complains unless it needs to be complained about, and he's loyal. He also has awesome range, a pretty cool, albeit simple, musou attack, and is powerful. A great all-around character. |

"Xu Huang has arrived!" Xu Huang is my 2nd favorite Wei character and he's in my top 5 overall favorites. I have always thought he was underrated. His costume from DW4 was amazing. While I didn't like his DW5 costume as much, I still enjoyed it. I love his moves. His C3 (SST) is killer. His C4 (SST) is one of the best in the game IMO. I love his jumping attack, where he does that helicopter-like spin until he hits the ground. His musou is awsome and his true musou is even better. The only thing I don't like is his C1 (T). I generally hate those ground pound moves that quite a few characters have. His VA from DW4 was one of my favorites from that game. I hope I'm not the only one who loves it. His DW5 VA took some getting used it since it was drastically different than his DW4 one, but now I enjoy it. I enjoy his story. There's nothing that stands out, but what's there works.
I don't get that. His costume was terrible in DW3. The turban looks horrible. In DW4 & 5 it's better fitted, which makes it much better IMO. I never liked his outfit from DW3 either. (If costume isn't what you mean, then nevermind.) |

Xu Huang always reminds me of Kenshin. Especially his DW3 costume. :lol: Ii don't see anything wrong with him in DW6. He actually looks really cool character to play with. To bad there is always a better character then him in Wei. I mean that Zhang Liao and Xiahou Dun stand out the most and Xu Huang is like Tashi Ci who like no one remembers about them to play with. |
