Been a while since I posted here, but after Warriors Orochi I like this guy even more now, thanks to some excellent R1 additions to his attack string. His moveset is not technically the best, but if you know how to use him he is vastly enjoyable and effective to use. I like his voice actor how he rolls his s's a bit, makes him unique. He is becoming one of my fav characters, I look forward to see what DW6 have done to him when I get the chance.

I cant believe I never commented on one of my favorite rivals. Didn't like his DW3 appearance. Looked too middle eastern. Liked him better in DW4. Seemed to play more roles in that game here and there. Appearance is a bit better. XL weapon was killer. Awesome with lightning. DW5 he shined. Great/more streamlined appearance. Light weapon improved attack speed. JC is unblockable. This guy has 360 coverage for days. Crowds stand no chance with his Musou, TM, JC, C6, and his wide swinging String. And his C3 makes him just as good a duelist. Has relationships/interactions with several characters: Cao Cao, Cao Ren, Pang De, Guan Yu. And is always trying to improve himself. The "stealing of Yue Yings old weapon in DW6 is a bit odd, but its still a polearm. But this guy historically wielded a great axe. They could have kept the axe in cloned movesets. Why take it away now KOEI??? |

I hope they'll keep his current voice for this DW6: Special. Its excellent and is really great to hear whilst fighting or using him. Kim Strauss said in his KW interview that Cao Pi from DW5/WO was not going to return, its why we got a new Cao Pi and Xu Huang. So I can't think of any reason that he will leave us so soon. And I guess the soonest we will find out, is in WO2. That now depends on if Koei went really cheap on us whilst searching for the voices, or saved old, perhaps never used, voice clips of his WO voice actor. |

So who here thinks that Xu Huang's new weapon, assuming he among others will get one, is going to be his old axe again? I certainly hope it is. While the dagger axe looked cool, the old battle axe was simply better. |

Xu Huang was my first character that i used in Wei and became my best character in Wei. His moveset is great and his earthquake at the end of his moveset kills a lot of people around and also his range is also i think good. His outfits are also cool especially in DW6. I also like his personality about him improving himself and that he is the Master Of War, he is a very cool character and i think he is 1 of the coolest characters in Wei. i liked his Axe so much but when they removed it i got quite angry i liked it it made more unique then other characters.

I'd like Xu Huang to ditch the dagger axe and get a different great axe, but use a totally 1 handed style with a long weapon. Twould be badass. Anyways, I've always liked JOKOTPTR. He's always been a fun character to use, with his huge range and good power. His "XU HUANG HAS ARRIVED" thing was hilarious though. |

I would hate it if Koei get rid of his current DW6 VA, I hope its going to be in WO2 also. The lines that come out of his mouth are just fantastic. He makes the stages feel better just with how he delivers those quotes. @SHUMA-GORATH: That would be cool. And yes I know what you mean, he always arrives late into battle in DW5. |

i love his pole-axe in DW6, but if Yue Ying gets her pike/pole-arm back it would be very similar. so i'll go with the one handed great axe, as well. he's always been a useful and reliable character for me, and i enjoyed his DW6 VA as well, LDZ. |

I remember members saying how good it was when it was close to release, and now I couldn't agree more. A one-hand axe would be great and it would back the fact that he's constantly searching for strength and might. Carrying a huge weapon with one hand and swinging it with relatively good speed would be a nice change. |

Xu huang was pretty weak to me before WO, his moves aren't the best and his range isn't too long. after WO came out, his R3 is like 1 of my favs, u can run through mobs with it! |

Xu Huang is a cool character one of the only characters who has always had his historical weapon his movests are cool i have always kicked ass with him although i haven't been him in dw6 as of yet but he will probably be just the same as usual |

His poleaxe is so awesome and it can cause great damage on enemy. He looks like an innocent serving Cao Cao for me. He is cool and brave and he always want to be a great warrior. I dislike his white turbans (except his alternate costume where he has blue turban). He looks so soft wearing the white one. I really like his outfit in DW6 and he wears a helmet. |

Xu Huang is one of the characters in DW5 that made me laugh the most with his "HERE I AM EVERYBODY, XU HUANG HAS ARRIVED". I really liked his MS in 5(ROLFcopter) but i fin his halberd MS to be rather weak compared to the other ones. I was totally shocked when he sided with Sima Yi in the rebellion at Xu Chang |

Love this guy, my 2nd favorite to Lu Meng. I like his dagger-axe more to his big axe, if you get me, reflects a lot more about him. I do admit, I miss the turban a little, but now he is more of a representational warrior. Strong and powerful and was also good a military strategy, achieved various goals. Whats not to like. |

I wasn't expecting him to want to face Cao Cao either. And I guess he decided to defect since he must of known Cao Cao was the superior over Sima Yi. |

He's pure awesome, I really like him and his movesets. Weapon and musuo are really well done pre- DW6. I dunno about DW6 'cause I got bored of it before unlocking many of the roster. Hope Koei starts giving him a bigger role in the story as he was one of Wei's five tigers, and I can see them doing that in the future as he got a slightly bigger role in DW5 ,WO and DW6. Would love to see some more interactions between him and other Wei characters and possibly Guan Yu. |

seems as though his DW6 PS3/360 MS got ramped up a bit for Special. he was one of the better pole-axe's anyhow. i had unlocked, but not used him until last night. i think there's more explosives in in the PS2 version. and KOEI've gotta be planning an XL, there are too many of the great characters left to just leave it like it is. |

Xu Huang is one of those characters who you don't notice much in the game. He doesn't stand out much. But his moveset is good and so is his VA and etc... Koei should really give him bigger role in the story instead of Zhang Liao... |

Xu huang is indeed one of the best wei characters, sadly his clothing changed, i liked his DW3 costume best and everytime i played with a latter game xu huang i frowned upon the rag on his head instead of his large turban. His moveset is also great, especially the way he does his C4 (3rd combo charge) tilting his axe during the swing, its a damn nice stance he does it in. His C3 (2nd combo charge) is the same as lu bu's so hes also a great crowdclearer. |

personally i really like his new look, but i think he should get a better role in the story but i don't think it should take over Zhang Liao's. Xu Huangs always been one of they characters i've never rushed to play as but when I do I really enjoy it |

Xu Huang is great- It really stung how he was cloned into obscurity in DW6 with a bunch of other character who didn't deserve that fate (Wei Yan, Xiahou Yuan, Zhou Tai, Yuan Shao, etc.) |

This might sound like blasphemy...but I wish Koei would change his turban or headscarf colour to something other than white so people don't mistake him for Uesugi Kenshin ....>_> Otherwise he's a lot of fun to use and he's one of the few viseo game characters out there who can have massive bulging muscles and look intelligent; not look like a complete, meatheaded idiot. |
