What Do You Fight For? Posts: 854 Group: Members Member #14,759 Joined: April 15, 2008 Gender Male	From what I've seen, Xu Huang is generally ignored and forgotten, this makes me sad. You see, the thing is, he is a good character, generally well liked, the problem is, there's those noticably better. I feel, he has been somewhat neglected in a way. He was a new addition to DW3, and one of the last characters I unlocked, I if I can remember. He, in DW3, had a good weapon, outfit, voice, everything, then he blended into the background. He is outshined by the other two Wei 5 Generals. Zhang Liao is their leader, he is also a character who is not cloned and has many character connections such as Guan Yu, Cao Cao and Lu Bu. Zhang He is also now decloned, and sticks out like there's no tomorrow for Wei, Zhang He is one of the most memorable/recognisable characters of DW. I just believe Xu Huang needs a bloody good revamp to back back into the series as good as he can be. He needs to keep the voice actor he has in DW6, DW5/4 voice killed him, really. Also, I think he could do perhaps with some work on his face, I think it would give him more popularity, not like I think he's a minger or anythin , but he needs more popularity, I mean, he's probably one of the least discussed on here. Hoping he gets more use in DW6XL if it is to happen, he deserves it. He only has one lousy cutscene with Zhang Liao, it's a good scene, but I just fel he hasn't got all the best purpose at the moment, and I'd like him to get some . I was reallllllly young and I wanted a fast character, and they only had I think up to Xu Huang left so I took him. Honestly, he seems a little bland in the game, I don't know much about his actual character, and so the real reason I use him regularly is because I am so attached to him sentimentally. Really, I sometimes feel that Koei has made him only slightly more appealing at first than a generic officer.

The Viper of Mino Posts: 937 Group: Members Member #10,840 Joined: November 6, 2007 Gender Male	Unlike the majority of characters Xu Huang's appeal to me has actually decreased as the series has moved along. In DW3&4 he is easily in my top 3, but since then he has been criminally neglected. In fact I felt in DW5 they took all the characteristics which were good about Xu Huang and gave them to Pang De for some reason.

His current look just isn't working for me: the helmet looks plain and generic, and don't get me started on his sleeveless shirt... He needs to bulk up again and have lots of armour/robes on. Also bring back his power! In DW3 he had insane attack power, now he's got less attack but he's faster, but we have enough all rounders, Xu Huang should be a powerhouse always.
