He's move-set is great.I like how his arms stretch out when he attacks. |

He is my favorite character by far. Only reason I bought SW2 and the same reason why I'm getting a couple T-shirts made with him on it and some Chaos lines. I also can do his voice very well. His move-set is really fun. In SW2:Empires he has an alternative costume where his hair is gold. |

Kotaro's moveset is wicked! The stretch-arms kind of are similar to Piccolo, or at least one of his moves. Kotaro makes Hanzo look like a friggin' Girl Scout! |

I dislike him. I dont like the skin. I dont like the hair. I dont like the voice. I dont like his "chaos" gimmick (which is already whore'd in DW). I actually like his fun C1, C2, and square string but his other moves have flaws that outweight their benefits. It'd be nice if he had a good story, though. |

his moveset is very nice, gotta lurve his specials, but his personality just pisses me off. Instead of the smart, intelligent villain, he's gotta play the single minded, cliched idot villain who doesn't do anything important but pop up randomly and make you round back to where you've came from to hack at him. Too cliched and predictable for my tastes. |

Chaos this...Destruction that... He's about as essential as Okuni...which says a lot for him really. The Hojo werent exactly a brilliant clan. They had no decent officers except Kotaro, who was just bent on chaos...if they had any sense, they would've seen his betrayal coming. He is overly confident about his skills, and always leaves you wondering "Does this guy go home and write abusive messages on his apartment ceiling and stuff?" I mean c'mon, obviously tapped. HEY! Maybe Kotaro should start dating Wei Yan! Awww! look at the cute insane couple! =) I bet the fat guy from DW is crying over that

I sort of agree,(apart from marrying Wei Yan) that he looks cool, his personality is cool, but some of his moves are just annoying, like his musou, its just like Nobunaga's or Gan Ning's |

I'm not sure awesome is the correct term to describe him, but he's cool. I like his personality, his design, and his moveset. Though, it is kind of hard to get used to his moveset at first, but overall, it's decent. I can really dish out damage with his True Musou. |

Calm before the storm: Musashi may counter the next move his opponent makes and deals 2x the damage. 1/2 chance of working. Wise one: Tactics used by Musashi have a much higher chance of succeeding. Ganryu Slayer: When fighting other Wandering Ronin, Musashi may use this to increase his attack exponentially. War: 96 ----------

He's good all-round but I gotta wonder about the dreadlocks lol. He looks like some Jamaican guy who went on vacation in Asia.
 And his musou isn't bad at all if you learned to control it. I learn to control both his and Nobunaga's.

He's my favorite character in both moveset and personality; he's very good in crowds even on chaos especially with the ability to roll during charge attacks which enables him to dodge before being hit and then juggled. |

I wonder why so many people hate his obsession with chaos >_>. I'm more annoyed when playing as Kanetsugu, Yukimura, Ieyasu etc. because they only want to unify the land. In SW almost everyone had different goals and now they just want to bring peace back to Japan. Good thing that Kotaro wants to do the opposite :rolleyes:. |

I realised a while ago that Kotaro is almost broken character >_>... - His C1 is a great crowd clearer, unblockable and it fills your Musou bar quickly. Almost nothing hits you when you roll and after you are finished, you can double-jump and perform JC. - C3-2 breaks guard and you can immediately cancel your attack and start beating the crap out of enemy. - C4 is great attack against both officers and normal soldiers. Damage is basically doubled when you have Demon element. - It's easy to take out huge crowds with his Musou attack. He doesn't run too fast, but not too slowly either. Awakening 3 + Level 3 Musou leaves nothing behind you. Works against officers too if you practice enough. - His self-skill allows him to cancel Charge attacks with R2. This is so cheap move... - His 4th weapon has Demon element and Attack boost. Now that's a deadly combination when performing C4 and other Charge attacks. And the bad: - Short range - Lack of useful Special attacks - Low defense - S string is too linear But overall, he's almost perfect :o. |

His R1 Triangle kicks ass. He is probably the cheapest CPU character in the game. His moveset is so damned cheap! |

Oh yeah, I knew the second I saw him he'd be cheap. We have a guy who's 'demonic' like Nobunaga, but who's ninja-like like Hanzo. I could've lived without him in the game honestly. |

He even gives TADAKATSU a hard time. I have trouble beating Kotaro and I got killed by him as Nagamasa. |

Thats because they are quite slow. Musashi and Yukimura have no trouble against him. The only problem is how cheap he is, you just have to stop him hitting by hitting first

I think he's great, his persona is fitting and his MS is awesome, regardless of flying arms. I love his C4 (If that is the one where he flaps his arms about) It's great for officers and the end part is wonderful for crowds. |
