Pang De, Wei Yan, Zhou Yu: Three of my Favorite DW characters, and all are very good to boot. Kojiro, Kotaro, and Goemon: All the crazy ones, and, again, all are very effective. Toshiie, Katsuie, Yukimura: Toshiie and Yukimura are versatile and Powerful, and Katsuie is one of the easiest to use and most powerful characters.

I love to mix it up so I usually end up with a random team I sorta throw together just for the heck of it. But I suppose there are some warriors that I would say make for an ideal team when combined. 1 - Sun Wukong, Tadakatsu Honda, Nobunaga Oda Reasons: Well Wukong is a great bonus for pretty much anyteam due to his speed, so he's kinda self explanatory. Then Honda... one word can describe the part he plays in this specific team... POWER. The guy is like a human tank for crying out loud. When you add his crushing blows to Wukong's speed, you're practically invincible. Then for Oda... well I personally see him as sort of a combination of the two. He's a really nice, well rounded, general type character I think. And because of that general feeling he sorta gives you it doesnt tip the scales that much toward either Wukong's speed or Tadakatsu's strength. Even though Oda has some incredibly powerful moves himself... they are all for the most part nice and swift. Making him the perfect addition to this combo-team. 2 - Kojiro Sasaki, Musashi Miyamoto, Mitsuhide Akechi Reasons: This here is probably one of my favorite teams to take out into battle. First of all... I love all of them, (ESPECIALLY Mitsuhide, favorite ever character btw) and I think they perform wonderfully as a team. Kojiro probably has the most range of the three, with his charge attacks and that long katana and whatnot. So I tend to choose him more for those stages where you have to kill like, 71471238749etc enemies. I find him to be an excellent crowd clearer and great for taking out officers as well. Although I usually use Akechi for that. Anyways, on to Musashi. I'd say he's probably the speediest of the bunch as far as swinging a sword goes. But unless he's on horseback, I normally only use him for taking out smaller groups of enemies. Like for example, Base captians and their units. Musashi always makes quick work of them. Then finally, Mitsuhide. As I said before, I use Mitsuhide for taking out enemy officers the majority of the time I use this team. He's just great at it, since he has one of the longer movesets of the roster. And with almighty, he's pretty much unstoppable. But then again... who isn't unstoppable when they have almighty? lulz 3 - Lu Bu, Tadakatsu Honda, Orochi (or Shin/Orochi X) Reasons: I dont think I need to explain this one that much, its pretty self explanatory. All 3 have amazing power and are incredibly useful in stages with a bunch of enemy officers. Work great as crowd clearers as well, although I think Lu BU is best suited for that task in particular. 4 - Motochika Chosokabe, Toshiie Maeda, Kunoichi Reasons: Let's start with Motochika. I would definetly say he's one of those characters that takes a bit of getting used to gameplay-wise. I myself couldn't kill hardly anything with him the first few times I played as him. But as I used him more and more, and leveled up his proficiency and skills, I started getting better and better with him. I developed little tricks and stratagies that really come in handy in a tight battle. He's probably the "general" type character of this group. Now on to Toshiie. This guy is just fantastic. By far one of my favorite new/SWXL characters. His attack speed is nice and quick, but relaly powerful at the same time. Definetly one of the first things I look for in WO characters. I use him mostly for crowd clearing and every now and then officers. His Musou does a greta job of clearing away close-ranged officers, so I try to make use of it the best I can. Lastly, Kunoichi. The fastest of the team in the area of getting around the battlefield without a horse. She's just all around fun to play as. Like Toshiie, she has a nice, quick attack speed, but powerful at the same time. Even though it has sorta limited range. It's because of the range stuff that I usually use her for getting rid of meddlesome base captians and units about that size. She works nicely for officers too, I guess. Her Musou is also pretty good for cutting through large crouds of enemies. There are a few more, but I think I'll stop here. As I said, I usually just select a random team for WO games. It's actually pretty rare that I use one of these or other teams. But even so, they are the ones that I repeatedly take into battle most often. And they do a great job of taking it by storm, one way or another.

The rest are in no prticular order are: Sun Jian, Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Lu Meng/Nene/Toshiie Maeda/Huang Gai/Zhou Yu Sun Quan, Mitsunari Ishida and Toshiie Maeda/Lu Meng/Sakon Shima/Taishi Ci/Lu Xun Ling Tong, Keiji Maeda and Kunoichi Yuan Shao, Okuni and Nene Yuang Shao, Xu Zhu and Huang Gai Zhao Yun, Liu Bei and Dong Zhuo (god knows why). TEAM JUSTICE!!!1 - Nagamasa Azai ( his special move is hands down KILLER. like, literally. ), Ma Chao ( i love his moveset okay, and NO I'm not going to say Kanetsugu. His special move is so useless ), Mitsuhide Akechi ( you can't tell me you don't spam his special like whoa, can you? ) 3.) TEAM GIRLPOWER <3 - Ginchiyo Tachibana ( she is combo queen I say! ), Zhen Ji ( again, Speed characters are just asking to be spammed ), Xiao Qiao ( ...SPEED. It's all I need to say ) 4.) TEAM MAGIC jazz hands - Gracia ( her glitch is so funny awesome. I can totally beat Tadakatsu + Lu Bu in CHAOS MODE with it :'D ), Zuo Ci ( lol cards ), Himiko ( Can anyone say crowd clearer? ) 5.) TEAM BADASS $#()%&# - Masamune Date ( oh my god your special moves __ ), Da Ji ( crowd clearer at best, but she's not very good at the single officer kills ), Mitsunari Ishida ( SPEED OKAY. SPEED SPEED SPEED. ) Also, I like using Taigong Wang, Sun Jian and Diao Chan for the kicks. I don't know why =))

got to be good lookin' cuz he's so hard to see... Posts: 1,188 Group: Members Member #93 Joined: October 13, 2005 Gender Female	Mine is Jiang Wei, Magoichi and Gan Ning. They HAVE been lvl 99.... but I set them back to lvl 1 again because I find them fun to use and they're my overall favourites Jiang Wei is my brute strength. I like using his SST move, because it gets large crowds to back off. His R1 attack ( the one that uses up his musuo) is pretty decent too. If I want to sweep up a crowd ASAP, I use Gan Ning's triangle attack. I added Ice, Bolt and Agility to his weapon, so his triangle really kicks ass. I usually use Magoichi to finish off officers and not for crowds. I can leave an enemy officer with very little HP after Magoichi's SST. The downside is that without agility Magoichi easily gets into tight situations, but if I switch fast enough I can get to either Jiang Wei or Gan Ning and use their aerial escape to recuperate

Ω Ω Ω Ω Ω Posts: 52 Group: Members Member #13,499 Joined: February 22, 2008	My top team was: Lu Bu, Guan Ping, Sun Wukong and yes, I had Almighty/Tenbu on all of them which makes the game painfully easy. Well, anyone with Tenbu makes the game a piece of cake but I feel Lu Bu and Guan Ping are among the top because they have a very long range and fast but controllable speed with maxed out weapons. Along with their range, you can practically infinite juggle anyone all day with just S5 (you could with C5 but S5 is faster). And if that gets boring, you can their respective multiple hit C strings for variety's sake(Lu Bu's C3/C6 and Guan Ping's C3/C4)... Sun Wukong is just there for his godlike mobility but he could hold his own if he needs too xD But my stylish team when I feel like being creative would be: Zhou Tai, Xiahou Dun, Wei Yan They have good juggle potential and you can make some pretty cool combos with them.
