I've also been using all characters since the beginning. I can't help it... it goes against my nature to just pick a few characters and ignore everyone else. But on my next playthough, I think I'll go with Nasser's tactic, just to see which style suits me better. So it's true that you can get Oichi? Is she worth all that trouble? |

I'm like that as well LoW, I just don't like the idea of neglecting other characters I have, it's not the most efficient style, but I'm more comfortable with it. Bothering to get Oichi? I wouldn't unless you have a way to much free time on your hands and enjoy the game enough. To get her you'd need to finish the game on normal, then hard, then expert. Expert is a real grind and the enjoyment of the game drops under such harsh conditions. I didn't even finish my Expert file to be honest. Finishing it on Hard was enough for me. |

How's Hard difficulty harder than Normal? More enemy units? And when I start a New Game+, do I lose all my money from previous game? What about equipment and troops? I read on GameFAQs that you lose everything you haven't equipped on your characters when you start New Game+. The FAQ is based on Japanese version, so I'm not sure does the same thing apply for NA and PAL version as well. I'm on Chapter 11 and I still have one Major battle to finish and I believe this the last chapter where I can buy/sell equipment. Edited by LoW, Dec 27 2008, 12:42 PM.

No visual differences, just harder. Personally, I never found any differences at all. I believe the giude is right. You get to keep the eqiupments your characters were using. And I don't think you keep the money either. IIRC you only get to keep your stats and skills, alongside the equipments (No troops, just items) that were used.. |

Well, that sucks. I'm one of those players who like to collect equipment and never sell anything >_>. I guess I have no choice but to sell my most useless stuff and buy best possible troops/equipment/horses from Chapter 11's merchant... |

On Hard you'll notice a few more enemy units pop up as opposed to last time. And you don't carry over that much data, just your finished skills. Like if you started with Rally lv 1, but had Rally lv 3 at the end of the game you'd carry over with Rally lv 3. Your stats, money etc are reset though. Unless you finish parts of the catalogue, then you'll get to have some additional things like money and equipment. |

Just a general question, but in my Kessen II the voices for every line during the battle maps are completely screwed. Like, it'll only play the last line that worked (usually the gibberish used in magic skills) instead of the current one, so the first few lines are just completely mute and I have to go on subtitles, but for anything that happens without them (like when the generals are talking to each other and it'll show Guan Yu talking at the top with another general's reaction at the bottom) I'll simply have no idea what's being said. I know at least one other person that has this problem, but most people don't seem to mention it, so I'm just wondering if this is at all a widespread problem, and if so, if there's any way around it? I bought the game new years ago, played through both sides despite it. I can hear half of Mei's tutorial and like one or two other lines (forget which, but I never bothered to see if they were repeating phenomena anyway), but everything else in the battle scenes is just clonked. |

I think that is just a flaw in the making of the game. It's annoying as hell I know, but I never found a way around it. |
