Dunno where this belongs to, but since this is a Gundam forum... LOL, just done doing usual trip at Gunota (most up-to-date Gundam info site), and found out that Sunrise has created a Gundam that meets ROTK. http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0720.htm On the 20th anniversary of SD Gundam: BB Senshi, the SD series which have mainly used Musha Gundams and retelled the Sengoku story, has taken a new way, which is ROTK. As you can see in the picture (quite long to load in my PC), three SD Gundams have been revealed. The left one (No.300) is Ryuubi Gundam (Liu Bei) based on the RX-78 Gundam The center one (No.301) is Kan-U Gundam (Guan Yu) based on ZZ Gundam The right one (No.302) is Chouhi Gundam (Zhang Fei) based on Z Gundam They will be released in June, each will be sold 525 Yen. ____ Hmm... somehow, I thought that if there is to be a Gundam Musou 2, maybe some of these SD Gundams will be made real and included, with the identical DW moveset and real historical people piloting them? Omg, omg...my wish has come true! *Cries happy tears* TvT I can't believe my wish has come true! I've always wonder why Bandai doesn't fashion a series of ROTK Gundams or SD BB Gundams. I always thought the idea was cool. Now, after so many years, my wish has finally come true! Hooray! I only hope they sell in Canada and are not too expensive(although SD Gundams generally are not too expensive, I just hope the sellers won't hold their stock and let the price skyrocket so they can rip buyers off). Really, the only thing I like about Gundam is their SD Gundam models, which I thought are really cute, but I don't have too much money to collect all of them. But now, since they have a ROTK set, I gotta collect 'em all! (At least the three brothers and Zhuge Liang! :P) Gundam Musou 2 with ROTK characters? Yes indeed! Since Japan has a Mecha anime on Les Miserables, why don't they make another Mecha anime on ROTK as well? B) |

Lol Doesn't Liu Bei Gundam's hair reminds you of Oda Nobunaga? Too bad Zhang Fei Gundam doesn't have a distinguishing feature of its own(other than its serpent spear)...they should make it have spiky beard or carry a wine bottle or something...^_^ |

The picture is a promotion poster for the SD Gundam models(toy). BlackKite just suggested the idea for Gundam Musou 2 to star Gundams that resemble ROTK characters with each character having their own mobile suit. B) I honestly wouldn't mind if there is a video game and anime starring ROTK characters with their own ROTK Gundams, whether they are SD Gundams or not.

Yeah, like when Zhuge Liang dies, Jiang Wei can take up Zhuge's mobile suit and pilot it and pull the same stunt like what happened in Wu Chang plains and scare da hell outta Sima Yi! LOL :lol: Or after Ma Teng died, and before Ma Chao's mobile suit is put perfectly into place, Ma Chao can take up Ma Teng's suit and say something dramatic: "In the name of Justice, I swear I shall avenge you, father!" Anime characters always say something dramatic at the critical moment - :rolleyes: Typical Mecha anime scene - with your ROTK character inserted: ______ arrives at a hangar and looks up at a mobile suit piloted by someone s/he respected but died in a battle earlier, ponders and have flashbacks, becomes determined, and swears by his heart, "I will not disappoint you, so and so..." or "I will not let you down, so and so..." |

Anyway, it is said on the site that there will be special manga for this series. Also, they are planning to open Chinese & English language sites of this Sangokuden. EDIT: Anyway, anyone would like to guess the three SDs on the topright section? I think it's either Zhao Yun-Ma Chao-Huang Zhong, or Cao Cao, one of the Sun ruler, and Lu Bu (I'm betting that purple one) |

In DW, every force has an animal emblem associated with it, where Shu is associated with the dragon, Wu the tiger, and Wei the phoenix. The same goes for the SD Gundams. If you look carefully, the armour that the SD Gundams are wearing have some attributes associated with the animal that symbolizes their force. For example, Guan Yu Gundam's headpiece is shaped like a dragon's head, while Liu Bei Gundam's V-shaped spike on its helmet has an emblem of a dragon on it. In addition, Zhang Fei's breastplate has an almost inconspicuous dragon emblem. I am no expert in Gundam design to know what every attribute symbolizes(whether it be rank or something else), but from simple observation, I am making the assumption that the leader of each force has certain features on their helmets that depict their elevated status. If we examine Liu Bei Gundam's V-shaped spike on its helmet carefully, we would see that the ends are blades extending from a piece adorned with gold with the Gundam's force emblem(in Liu Bei's case, a dragon)engraved at its very bottom. If we look at the red Gundam at the top centre on the picture from the right, we can see it has features on its headpiece that are similar to the ones I mentioned above. From this, I am assuming it to be of leader status. By looking at the gold bottom of its spike, which is engraved to resemble the emblem that symbolizes Wei(look at the map below the picture), I am assuming the red robot would be a part of the Wei force. And who is the leader of Wei? Cao Cao. Therefore, my conclusion is, the red robot at the top center is Cao Cao. For the white one, I am assuming it to be Zhao Yun, or Zhuge Liang. This is due to the stereotype Zhao Yun is often depicted as the white(chivalrous) knight in cartoons, anime, TV shows etc. Either he always dons something white along with his silver armour, or white just symbolizes chivalrous?  Well, it could always be Zhuge Liang, because Zhuge Liang, as everyone knows, wears white. So it's very likely his SD Gundam will have a white armour as well.As for the SD Gundam on the left, with some kind of hawk/eagle/condor/phoenix on its helmet, I can't say for sure. It couldn't either be some general from Wei, or it could be someone(robot) else. |

Below the Musha Gundam is a promotional poster, which clearly indicates Lu Bu is Tallgeese. Below Liu Bei... Left: Lu Xun Zeta Plus, Right: Zhou Yu Hyaku Shiki And below them: Sima Yi Sazabi The last three are: The unknown Re-GZ general, Sun Quan and Cao Cao. |

Liu Bei's armor looks more like Wing Gundam to me. But naked wise, he's clearly based on RX-78 Gundam. Cao Cao isn't based on Double X, more like Gundam X to me especially the torso. Not sure about Sun Quan, but I'm positive he's not Stamen. Mobile Leo as peon, wtf... I'm sick of Leo. I think it's Zhuge Liang as Re-GZ. See the weapon, it looks like white fan but thicker. I also saw TWO different white Sazabi beside Sima Yi... Guo Jia maybe? Anyway on promotional poster, I didn't see Lu Bu as Tallgeese... I only see Sun Quan, Cao Cao, Liu Bei on center, Zhang Fei & Guan Yu. Are you referring Lu Bu as the silhouette with huge left eye on the background? |

Hmm... Maybe it's Sima Yi with his helmet off. Kinda like in the first scan, where you can see Liu Bei without his armor. And yes, Lu Bu is the one in the background. There is also a Japanese text meaning "Lu Bu Tallgeese".

Maybe you're right.. But why Lu Bu has to be Tallgeese? Gosh too many Wing reference already... They could've just use Zeong of The O as Lu Bu. Can't imagine what Zhen Ji, SSX & other DW girls gonna look like... Hopefully all of them aren't based on Noble Gundam. |

Too many W references? The only known W unit that appears here is Tallgeese. We haven't seen any generals depicted with W Gundams. And, yeah, that's right. looks like that Re-GZ is Kongming. The dragon carving, and that weapon is indeed a white fan. Zhuge Liang Re-GZ and Sima Yi Sazabi... heh, a nice reference to CCA. Though I wonder why isn't Kongming depicted as Nu Gundam instead... |

Liu Bei looks like Wing already with the armor, despite he's based on RX-78. Mobile Leo as peons, I can imagine higher rank peon as Vayeate or Mercurius, or whateva... Re-GZ is Amuro's first MS in CCA when he encounter Char with Sazabi btw. Perhaps Jiang Wei will ride Nu Gundam. Or even worst, LIU CHAN as Nu Gundam lol! BlackKite, any idea of the purple, Kamen Rider Sasword-like Gundam behind Zhuge? Look's like purple dragon motive. |

Actually after view observation, that Purple Gundam also appeared on the artwork of your first post BlackKite. http://www6.ocn.ne.jp/~midori-b/newpic/nes-g0720.htm See that upper left, it has kinda same crown design. Now I'm not sure if it's Dragon motive or Phoenix motive. From front view it looks like Dragon, but from sideview it looks like Phoenix with beak on it. But face-wise, kinda reminds me of Gp02A Physalis. |
