Man of emotions, Virtue, Honor and justice. c6 hits everyone ice orb equip and his musou slashs everyone

KW War General - The Sleeping Dragon Posts: 122 Group: Members Member #6,505 Joined: April 3, 2007	Liu Bei is my favorite ruler. The one thing I like about him is his virtue, honor and justice. I like his move set too, it's very simular to Sun Jian if you ask me.

His personality changes by the end of the game

It was similiar to other rulers, but I still thought it was the best (I loved his Musou, C5 and C6). In DW5, I prefer Sun Quan who surpassed Liu Bei him with better crowd clearing abilities.

The Diva of the Dance Posts: 216 Group: Members Member #1,281 Joined: March 31, 2006	I guess I should put in my two cents over Liu Bei. The virtuous personality he exhibits annoys me, and after Yi Ling, it almost seems like his personality reverts back to the old one. I mean, I'd think that he'd still have at least a bit of anger left over from Guan Yu's death. Anyway, on to the moveset. Normal S string: I would say it's decent. Not the best, but not the worst either. Evolution S string: C4 ender makes it absolutely terrible. C1: A sliding push. I'm not sure if this is supposed to clear crowds or give him an escape from enemies if he's in the red, but overall I find the move kind of useless. C3: Decent in the beginning, but I don't rely on it at all later on. C4: Completely and totally SUCKS C5: This is one of his best moves in the game, really, the same as for some of the other rulers (like Cao Cao, Sun Jian, and Sun Quan). C6: Another great move, it's 360 with a huge 360 shockwave ender that really works well with an Ice orb. Jump Charge: I wouldn't call this a particularly safe move, but for some reason I tried it on Xtreme Mode against the elephant riders and I found it worked quite well. Horse combat: Decent for one wielding a relatively short-range weapon Dash: Hmm, I'm a bit undecided on that one. Last I knew it wasn't the greatest. Normal Musou: Great because in the beginning it doesn't juggle. The last few hits are effective against crowds AND officers. True Musou: The huge 360 puff ender allows him to continue a combo off officers using his C5, which I think is great. And that's it for me on this topic.

In his DW3 true musou he would do extra slashes and would do them really quickly. This was great versus officers and could help his long reach! In DW5 he sticks his sword into the ground and really.... its nothing special. I was very annoyed when I first performed his true musou, so Koei please bring his Dynasty Warriors 3 true musou back!

1948-2009: THE GRAND SLAM DREAM LIVES ON! Posts: 6,547 Group: Members Member #1,747 Joined: April 28, 2006	Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Sun Jian, Dong Zhuo and Yuan Shao have almost the exact weapon and moveset. Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Jian are my favorite rulers. I don't particularly like Shu but I respect Liu Bei profoundly.

That's alright I don't care anymore. I wasnt that agressive. Thati s why I made "that" thread 4 months later. Really? I don't know. I been using Sun Quan more than Liu Bei. His c5 goes straight and it doesnt protect him and the execution time is kind of longer than Liu Bei making him a target for everyone around him while his musou covers the same area of not more causing him to attack everywhere while his c6 freezes the enemy and musou doubles the damage whjile Sun quan c6 cant freeze. Of course if you play hard mode and normal mode you can use anything and still survie but Chaos mode is more of a challenge and every little mistakes causes 1/5 of your life or more

I already received complaints from a member of the official Koei forum because someone didn't liked Shu and said it on a topic (maybe not in polite way, but still...) and he found it offensive, so he asked me if I could warn this person... If that's not over reacting, I wonder what it is... You're maybe the 4 or 5th Shuist I know who react like this...

Can you not talk like that on a thread about a character and how to use him? Btw on that thread I would go more crazy if I was mad like I use to but I stoped myself..... now can we talk about why you like Sun Quan better?

I didn't like him in the 4th and he turned out to be a good surprise in the 5 since they changed his moveset... For Liu Bei, well... I still like him more than Yuan Shao, but somehow, all the leaders are good characters, especially for the beginners, because they're easy to use.

He has a good personality and is someone I could truly respect. He's pretty decent MS wise. He may not be flashy or have abusable moves but he's useful and dependable.
