Indiana Jones IV starts filming June 18th Studio: Paramount Pictures Director: Steven Spielberg Screenwriter: David Koepp, Jeff Nathanson Starring: Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf Official Website: IndianaJones.com Plot Summary: Steven Spielberg says that the film will feature all of Jones' former babes in various cameo roles. Karen Allen is expected to be back for one soundbite, and other Indy girls who had smaller roles will be coming back. It is still up in the air whether or not Kate Capshaw, Spielberg's wife, will make an appearance. Sean Connery as Indy's father will be back for a few scenes, and the film is set in the early '50s. I love this movie. All time greatest movie ever! |

Ugh, I HATE the 50's with a passion. Either way, it will probably be a decent movie. I dunno how well you can use that whip, while battling arthritis. Han Solo >>>>>> Indiana Jones. |

Harrison Ford's 60! He's probably gonna have a heart attack on set or somethin' 'cause he's so old. |

What? It's barely filming? I thought it's already post production or something. I've seen the older movies, but my favorite was Temple of Doom. And yeah, Harrison Ford's old, but hey, if he's still healthy and fit for the role, then he'd be good enough. I really don't know who'd to replace him with. |

Maybe Harrison Ford should be replaced with Viggo Mortensen or Hugh Jackman. They're both reasonably young and healthy. |

I wasn't being mean, dude, I was trying to be funny. Harrison Ford probably won't be able to do the movie. |

Oh, but I do fancy the idea of Viggo Mortensen taking up the role. After seeing him in LOTR and Hidalgo, he seems almost perfect for it, with his 'ranger-type' roles. Hugh Jackman would be fine too, but I think Viggo is more suitable overall. |

I hope they cast Tony Jaa in the movie. I know he wanted to work with Spielberg and all. Thanks for the heads up General Liang! I'll try to post some more info about it later. |

Tony Jaa eh? I would love to see him in the movie. He's a great Muai Thai artist. He would really spice up the movie. |

I think Sean Connery already dropped out of the film because he claimed that he loves the life of retirement too much and its too much for him to do for the movie. This was like his first day on the set. So no Indy Dad for the movie now or they might get some one else in. A shame though. |

If that's true, Connery is a senile old fool. His last movie sucked, and that's no way to end a career. |

i think indy in this one will be more of a father/mentor figure in this one. the main focus i think will be shia. plus if harrison ford wasn't indy, it wouldn't be the same. fans of the old movies wouldn't watch it. i probably wouldn't if i found out he wasn't in it. |

That's odd, according to IMDB it's coming out on May 2008.... I heard that the main character of Disturbia(Shia or something) is going to have the role of Indiana Jones' son. |

I thought it was good. I loved the way they went with the movie. It was kind of old fashioned, you could tell Speilberg tried to make it like the old ones. There was some awesome scenes in it, but no futuristic special effects, but thats a good thing in my opinion. Thats what I hated about the newer Star Wars, they all looked way too futuristic to be the prequels of the 4,5, and 6. |

I'm seeing it tonight in a few hours. I grew up watching the Indiana Jones trilogy repeatedly as a child. So, I'm hoping Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls will do the other movies justice. I watched something on Sci Fi channel the other night about the "Secret of the Crystal Skulls," I've never heard of any such artifacts before, but apparently some believe they exists and their powers are in fact real. |

I just saw the movie and I thought the movie had some good action, but the story and all didn't really have the Indiana Jones feel to it. A lot of it was a little too far fetched. You could definitely tell that Lucas wrote it.

I saw it yesterday. It wasn't bad at all I really liked it but it's definitely not the best Indiana Jones movie( I still think that would be the second one, forgot the title) I wonder why Boris wasn't in the credits though... well he was probably listed under 'Russian soldiers'. "no Boris you don't know him! you don't know him!" lol anyway, the story was indeed far fetched but overall it's definitely worth watching. |

Wow, really you thought Temple of Doom was the best. I like it, but the first is still the best. The second one had that really annoying lady in it, couldnt stand her. But ya, deffinitley not the best one. |

Like you said, the action scenes where GREAT, and I loved how they showed the Ark of the Covenant briefly in the warehouse... but the addition of aliens was completely odd. I'm not sure how I feel about it, 'cause I really enjoyed the movie.... However, I think it would have been better if the aliens were only speculated or talked about in theory, not actually shown to really exist. Plus, they were from another dimension? Erm, kay. They should have used another Mayan artifact or something, but I still liked the movie overall. Harrison Ford still looked pretty damn good to me, and I'm happy that Indiana Jones has a family now. Though at the very end, I'm glad he took away his hat before Mutt was able to put it on his head, if he had worn it, it would have made me think that the next series would be "The Adventures of Indiana Jones Jr." or something. Please, no!! @Xaldin: I actually like Temple of Doom the best myself! I just love the atmosphere so much. For some reason I think the Cult of Kali is really cool with the sacrifice and everything. I'd have to say after ToD, I like Last Crusade, then Raiders, and then Crystal Skull. Though it's close. |

Dont get your hopes up , they might still do that.I didnt really mind how it was about aliens though. I did find it kind of weird how at the end, they were still all looking down at the ground. You would think with something coming out of the ground like that, that they would look up to see it fly away. |

Yeah I really liked Temple of Doom the best. I agree about that whole atmosphere and all. More of an adventure. For the next Indiana Jones movie they are going to have Harrison Ford come back as an older Indiana while Shia Lebouff will take the role of Indiana Jones. Like with Sean Connery in the Last Crusade. Indiana Jones Timeline: Temple of Doom (1935, 2nd Film) Raiders of Lost Ark (1936, 1st Film) The Last Crusade (1938, 3rd Film) Kingdom of Crystal Skull (1957, 4th Film) |

I hope not. No one can replace Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, certainly not Shia Lebouff, nothing against his acting or anything but it's just something that shouldn't be done! >_> I just remembered, while seeing the movie in theaters people started giggling when Indiana was looking at the photo of his father (a picture of Sean Connery was on the screen for like 10 seconds). People actually started laughing! Did this happen when anyone else saw it? It always annoys me when people laugh at parts that aren't supposed to be funny. Also back to Temple of Doom, I think they should have brought back Shortround, the little Chinese boy. I kinda wonder what happened to him, hope he didn't die off on one of Indy's many adventures. |
