Good, I'd give it an 8/10, but I'm rather biased since I'm a fan of the series. You certainly won't be disappointed in the action department. But you might walk away slightly confused with the ending though. It leaves you hoping that something different had happened.... well at least I did.

On a side note, I got my first ticket while driving home from this movie. = /

I wasn't going to go in with very high expectations, and I'm quite glad I never. The film was good don't get me wrong, but there wasn't enough action or bits inside that would be worth remembering except for the fact the skull was that of an aliens (very obvious when you saw the skull and all the diagrams, yet they never guessed....) and that the story was based from creations out of this world, that being the first in the series.

Mutt's character was great and I think it wouldn't be a bad decision to use him again. Also, there were many amusing parts in the film as well as totally outrageous screens, or should I say unexpected scenes (The fridge survival and Tarzan swinging as two examples.) And the developing team should of been a bit more creative with the aliens design, and not be all stereotypical (large eyes, big head), and the fact it was another flat flying saucer *yawns*. That was surprising coming from George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars.

I would give the move about a 7 out of 10. No higher since it was too predictable and uncreative for the majority of it.

I have to say that I pretty much agree with you there LDZ. But I love the outrageous scenes, I thought the vine swinging was awesome. I do wish that some of the cooler spots lasted longer, like when those freaky guys were jumping out of the rocks at night, that was awesome, but should have lasted longer.
I personaly did not like how the aliens just disapeared in their saucer and that was that. I did not mind it being about aliens, but they should have gone a little different of a route with it. It does surprise me, that this comes from the creative genious of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, and yet the movie was just alright, and not totally great. I still loved it though.

There are too many unanswered questions and plot holes in the film. Also, I can't remember red ants being that vicious, I knew they bite...but... And moving on, the fact that the monkeys were swinging with him and helping him was a very neat idea, I must say. In fact there are many who are laughing at the fact that Tarzan will be made again, it wouldn't be too much of a shock for me. Since I'd like to mention that people think that George Lucas is doing too much damage to what use to be amazing films in order to revive them (aka Star Wars.) So lets see whats on his next agenda, perhaps a movie where Indy travels back in time and greets dinosaurs?

Worse, apparently he wants Mutt Williams to star in his own movie and have Indy tag along like Henry Jones (Sean Connery) did in Last Crusade. <_<

I loved it. I thought it was great. Yeah there were some outrageous things in it, but it was still pretty epic. Great action scenes, great acting in my opinion, and I think Indy's still got it. See, the only Indiana Jones movie I watched in full was Raiders of the Lost Ark, and when I watched that I was like 9 or something. Temple of Doom or whatever it was called I watched only a part of, and I was similarly young.

That having been said, the movie felt fresh to me. I enjoyed it a lot. There were also some references to Raiders in it.

BTW, I just came back from seeing it, lol.

It was an awesome movie, and there were plenty of jokes to go around. Though I didn't like the fact that aliens were used. That was a bit...weird...And Shia Lebough rocked. He went from nerd in Transformers to young punk in Indiana Jones 4.

However, I find that the last three were better. For me, Raiders of the Lost Ark is still the best of them all.

I'm glad to see more fans who liked the film!

For those of you who hated the "Tarzan" scene:

That would be pretty funny to have that shirt. I liked the scene, sure it was cheezy, but a lot of the movie was a bit cheezy, in a good way that is. Just like Indy flying in the fridge, because he would have been dead for sure. Will probably rate it in my top 5 of the year.
