:( that is very wrong and it's setting a bad example that you are not responsible

No it's not. It's wantign to "have your cake and eat it too'

He is saying what 97% of men are thinking.

Please tell me that was not an honest attempt at justifying what RedKnight just said

Yeah, it was. I'm 20, and enjoy sex. I know the repurcussions pretty well, so I use protection. So I can honestly say "I like to have sex. I don't like being a dad."

That's fine and everything, but please refrain from using statements like "97% of men share that opinion, because that will get you nowhere fast in a serious debate.

True. I know that's not a real fact, but I will say most men I know enjoy casual sex.

A lot of men do. Nothing wrong with it. I think my previous post got a bit misconstrued but I'm not sure whether it was the wording of it or what I said.

Yes. I do know that's my quote or "Red Knight's". The old nickname still sticks. Wonderbar. RM kind of said what I meant to say in my previous post, aka the quote in Jin's sig.

Eh? If something's 100% wrong it's fully wrong. The percent thing is kind of 0%-100%, I think, but eh. There are people who don't really know much about the dangers of unsafe sex.

That's probably the reason. They thought that people with good grades would be smarter than people with average grades or less than average grades.

That's probably why. It's 170% wrong and stupid, but probably the reason they did it.

Arkward but do you use a condom?

It's called exaggeration.

I think that parents should not rely on school to teach their children about sex. but as someone prevously stated, I suppose some people come from a torn up families or many other reasons could have prevented a child/teenager from learning.

However, the schooling system should teach children about the dangers of sex, as well as what can be done to prevent them. sadly, there is no cure for AIDS or actually most other STDS. We only offer symptomic relief. So even though it may be tough to wait to get to know the person better, it is better then risking getting a disease you will have for the rest of your life.

Teenagers should also be aware that diseases can be transmitted by more then sex alone. for example, you can get herpes by simpley kissing someone. It is of course a different strand then then one you get from having sex.

Another thing that deeply disturbs me is that when a mother has syphillis, it gets transmitted to the baby because it crosses the placenta. but I am getting slightly off topic now. but I am just saying that the innocent baby might also be affected.

of course, you call it Herpes instead of Mono... >_>

you forget that you can get herpes from just touching someone (chickenpox) as well.... just a high five and you could have herpes ;)

Most children find it embarassing and awkward, I am one of these people, besides, My Mum has never tried, and if she does, I'll pack my bags and go stay round my Nan's until she drops it, I know what is necessary. <.<

I agree with that.... the last thing I want is my parents talking to me about it T_T

Health classes always make it negative, as well they should... a lot of people know from movies or shows what sex is, and if they both want to do it, you can't exactly stop them.... if they want to, they're gonna do it... :P

My mom was very open about it. She taught me herself when I was 13. (I didn't tell her I knew about it when I was 10 from an encyclopedia!!) My school only started at 15, and that's a bit too late, if you ask me. I'm living in a conservative country. Maybe that's why it took so long for them to teach us about sex.

My classmates find the subject embarassing. Everytime i ask them things like, "Would you get an abortion" or "What are your views about birth control", they get all wriggly and try to change the topic.

Sounds like one of my pals, he is so sexually immature and not ready, I get the impression he thinks it is disgusting.

Yeah we do. We may not have to worry about ourselves getting pregnant, but to say we don't have to worry about pregnancy is foolish.

yeah... <_< i've never had sex before...

I don't want to lose my virginity to just anyone though... there's only about 2 people i'd really want to lose it to.... 1 of them i'm seriously in love with, and the other one is a really good friend.... unfortunately, the one i'm in love with only sees me as a friend... a really good friend, and she cares about me, but a friend nonetheless ='(

Having sex is okay, as long as both partners understand the risks invovled. Virginity is only a temporary thing. It won't last forever. I guess the worse thing that could happen is that you had sex with a HIV positive person, or you have sex with a girl and then out pops a baby.

This reminds me of a funny thing I once read.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To smoke some Marijuana,
Then Jack got high, unzipped his fly, and said, do you wanna?
Then Jill said yes, and stripped her dress.
And then they had some fun.
But silly Jill forgot the pill, and now they have a son.

LMAO...that is funny! Thanks for sharing it.

RM: Yeah, that is a good gift, hahha. I can imagine the big relief. In theory, condoms are like 98.9% accurate, assuming that the guy knows how to use it properly, however, many people do not use it properly. LOL.

About the prostitute, WTH....a prositute is not an example of a typical lady. Nevertheless, they do not have sex for pleasure, they do it for the money, lol. Only the men do it for the pleasure in that case.

By the way, if your partner says that he/she did not have AIDS or any type of STD, then would you really trust them? Seriously, many people that has an STD would not admit it to their partner. Also, 25% of people that has AIDS, is not even aware of it. I am not joking. Many people would lie so that they can have sex and enjoy themselves. If they admitted, then who would want to get with them???

I am just saying that from my experience. When the lab results come back, and they discover they have an STD, many people said that their BF/GF said they didn't have any disease. But then we check the partner, and they have. so I conclude that either people lie, or they are unaware.

Like if you were to have sex, then make sure it is someone that you trust. Just be careful!

Sex, to me, isn't like food. I can live without ever having sex, but what I can't live without is food. It's just a very important biological need to me, anyway. Hell, I'm pretty sure I'm asexual. I didn't know what I was until I found out recently. After watching some documentaries about asexuals on MTV and online researching, I've come to the conclusion that I am indeed asexual. ^_^

So what I'm saying is, if sex is your thing, then who can stop you? Seriously, people should stop caring about what other people do to themselves. It's futile because they'll just tell you to fu-k off. However, it's their responsibilty. If they fu-k it up, then they only have themselves to blame.
