Magnificent Artist Commander Posts: 163 Group: Members Member #3,695 Joined: October 9, 2006	"Was the enemy camp pretty?" "Um, well, uh, it was...normal, I suppose." Zhang He ownz. His personality is unique and funny, as opposed to the somewhat generic warrior types. His appearance is certainly flamboyant (I myself don't really like the butterfly wings), but it's generally fine, and goes well with his character. His moveset is amazing as far as I'm concerned. The only thing I would improve is the range of his C5. Currently, I'm in the process of finding a good avatar featuring him (though I do hate to sacrifice Ina; maybe I'll just put him in my sig). Besides, his interactions with other characters, rare as they are, are to die for. Just watch the scene between him and Xiahou Yuan during his musou mode (Mt. Ding Jun, I believe). Try to envision the following between the elegant and beautiful Zhang He, and the large and boisterous Xiahou Yuan: "A general must command his troops with grace, and poise." pose "Like...this?" pose

Its just how over the top Koei are going with some characters personality's and images. And yes that may be a good thing. But it also may not be. Its good to make each character has unique as possible because then you have a wider variation to choose from and won't have to play story over story thinking to yourself ''Have I done this before??''. However IMO they must draw the line at some point in regards to how extreme the personality's become. I initially thought that they would draw the line with Ranmuaru Mori's design in SW1, but boy was I wrong! They should of done the same with Zhang He, but of course they pushed him into the next level. Now are we going to see Ranmaru literally become a girl in the next installment!?? Who knows?? No actually, I am being serious!

Also, Zhang He only wears butterfly wings in an ALTERNATE COSTUME in DW4. Or should I be talking about Oichi being a stuffed rat, or Tarzan Masamune?

Posts: 1,855 Group: Members Member #1,501 Joined: April 14, 2006	Let me tell you, I Hate his moveset with a passion, I hate the character, I hate his persona, I hate the fact that he used Beauty in most of his speeches, I despise the fact that he dances in his last FMV in DW5, I would like him to be fully revamped, some may say I am not comfortable with my sexuality because I don't like the way he acts, they would be wrong, I am fully comfortable, I just don't like it when producers put people who act homosexual on a game which kids play, it's almost as though they're teaching them to be gay. He is one of my least favourite male characters down the bottom with Lu Xun. I would love it if someone better can along with claws with a better Moveset and less queer personality.

Lol that FMV of his was labelled as the funniest in the game! :lol: Wo, I was not expecting that post of yours to be like that. But I really was not expecting anything at all. Koei must make characters unique in order for them to be all individual. So that can't be helped, although it can be slightly altered. Would people think of the same of Lu Bu if he was not the greatest warrior?? No they would not! Would people think of the same of Xu Zhu if he was not slow and large in size with a huge skull shattering weapon?? No they would not! You can see where I am coming from now, right?? Anyway Zhang He's persona is fine except for the fact that it needs to be dimmed down a fair bit, and his appearance also, thats all. His MS should not be touched without a caution, because its great in my opinion!
