All 3 of our territories have a coast. However, ships shouldn't be a priority since we face central Japan, the place where unarguably the most fighting will happen, and no one would try to come by water when they can come by land.

All right, I'll keep ship purchasing on the minimal.

Meanwhile, neither Nobunaga nor Musashi are responding to my PMs.

Btw, what exactly does "Mairu" mean?

It sort of means 'I'm ready,' 'prepare yourself', or with "iza mairu," "bring it on."

So this is what Musashi replied with:

Musashi

Ieyasu

So what do I, the Lord of Edo, have to do to secure the honor of having the most famous duelist of Japan fight alongside me?

"That all depends. What can you promise me? Remember, gold isn't everything..."

Well, how much gold are we going to get the first turn?

I'm thinking of replying that he'll have plenty of chances to prove his worth along with fighting alongside Tadakatsu.

[That's what I was thinking. Send him this if you'd like:]

Fighting along side Sengoku Saikyo is worhty in itself. And once we've destroyed our enemies, perhaps a we can test eachother's skill in a fight of our own.

Gold? Pah, like you'd need that. Of course, you still want some don't you? We of the Tokugawa are already planning a full scale offensive. If you fight alongside me, you will fight many battles. Of course, I'd still be honored if you stood by my side for but one battle.

"Hmm...there's nothing I like more than testing my blades on enemy soldiers...and you seem sincere enough. It's nice to see someone who isn't focusing on money in this time of war. You seem like the type of ruler who will go far. Tell me how much gold you're planning to give me and I'll give you my answer."

I already sent him an answer, so how much gold should we give him?

[I don't remember what the gold deal was in the last SWCJ..how much did we start with then?]

Edit -

((Well, I'm just eager to get into the game and I know both you and GYA are good roleplayers, so gold doesn't really matter to me. I mean, it does, but at this point in time, Musashi would take a promise of later payment so it doesn't really matter if you guys have gold to get me right now.))  :)

[I told him you and I would make a formal IOU and send that to him]

Oh snap, double post.

Anyway, I think we should launch an allied assault on the Imagawa. We can have the Oda attack 16 (South Shinano) and we can attack 18 (Totomi). This will basically keep the Imagawa in check since, if they retaliate, they'll be in a pincer attack by us and the Oda which would destroy them. If that's the case, we can be safe from the East.

Exactly. And using the logic that by having the Azai all with us and have thier rear completely protected, they should easily snatch tht deal up. With Azai and Oda as allies, we can put all focus on the Imagawa.

Yeah, definitely. I think this could be done easily.

That makes complete sense, its very unlikely we could take to much damage with the Oda helping us, and the Azai wont attack us as they will quickly take the oppurtunity to ally with us to keep, as you said, there behind safe.

If we attack Imagawa, and Yoshimoto is in the battle, he has many good abilities to defend himself from fire/arrows.
But if Ieyasu-dono is in the battle too, they'll get some big damage.

Well, i agree if we attack Imagawa first..

Ok, going on that the game will start tomorrow..

Which Imgawa territory do we attack first? Who will be attacking? And, where should our capital be?

Before Edo was our capital, is Edo in a specific province we control? If not, then let's make it #29 since if we take the neutral provinces quickly, it will be protected on all sides.(assuming the Azai don't doublecross us)

Aiming for the Imagawa capital wouldn't be a good idea, would it? So I say we take a risk. We can make the Oda attack the capital while we attack 18. The Oda will take many casualties because of the capital being obviously heavily defended. In the time needed to beat back the Oda army, Jbrace will never see us attacking 18 until the last moment. Your thoughts or any flaws you see in my logic?

Since the Imagawa haven't chosen a capital yet, that plan can't happen at the moment. However, we should assume it'd probably by 17.

Either way though, it doesn't matter. Even if it's 16, The Oda will be at thier heart while we come up from the side.

As for our capital..I suggest Iga.

How long do you think the Imagawa can stand given that the mods do their jobs, the casualties come out correctly, etc.?

I can't say without facing them in battle. Yoshimoto/JBRae's arrogance will be the downfall of the Imagawa, though.

Ok, tomorrow..

Posted Image

I propose we have the Oda attack territory 16 while we dive for 18, both in teams of 3 (or 3 for us, anyway. The Oda can do whatever, but at least 3.) That way we have an allied assault, and Yoshimoto, who theoritically has 4 people less than us, will be struggling trying to deal with 6-8 people coming from two sides, and that's if the Takeda don't try and attack him as well.

The red dot is our capital (That ok, Ieyasu?), and we can leave our other two people there to protect those territories and maybe even take that neutral area for us.

Now, for the teams, I say..

Imagawa strike force: Ieyasu, Tadakatsu, Musashi.
Neutral territory attack force: Hanzou, Ina.

We should have all of the big-atatckers out to overwhelm the Imagawa, and the other two more technical types can stay back and monitor the other half of central Japan.

Thoughts?

hmm..which neutral territory? 28 or 30?
And if i and Hanzo'll attack Neutral territory, who'll defend the capital?

The person who attacks 28 is a dead man, for that is where the capital lies as well as the Tenno. So I meant 30.

And since the only two clans surrounding us are our allies, our capital might not even need protection for a short period.
