We have one in SW section, let's try this one on the DW section. So, other than SSX, Diao Chan, Zhen Ji, Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, Zhu Rong, Yue Ying and Xing Cai... Any other women in the Sangoku era worth noting? Or at least a possible new character for future DWs? |

Lu Lingqi is a made-up name by Koei, but so is Sun Shangxiang. She would be ok, I suppose. Cai Wenji (Yan) is who I was going to mention, although she was just a poet rather than a warrior. It sounds corny, but Koei could have her say a lot of poetry in her dialogue or something. I've actually made many characters named Cai Yan in former Dynasty Warriors games.
 Another one they could [should] add is Vietnamese heroin Trieu Thi Trinh. Supposedly fighting against the Kingdom of Wu when they invaded Jiao (which included part of old Vietnam), she allegedly won several small skirmishes against Wu before being steamrolled by Lu Xun's relative, Lu Yin. Some infos from the internets- http://www.kongming.net/encyclopedia/?search=Zhao+Yu#zhaoyu And yes I helped make that page, way back when. Also she is a legendary character, and is quite possibly mythological, but so is Zhu Rong arguably. There is speculation that Zhu Rong might have been based on her. Other Characters that I remember being brought up in past discussions: Ma Yanlu (supposed wife of Zhao Yun and sister of Ma Chao), Zhao E-Qin (the mother of a Wei official named Pang Yu; famous for slaying some corrupt official with a halberd but probably impractical for this game), Lady Wu (lady who could wield a cane or something and be there for comedy relief after Sun Jian dies. While Sun Jian is alive she'd look young in cutscenes, but after he dies she would look like an old lady o_0), Mother Dong (a silly character that Peng made into a superpowered old lady in his comic San: 3k. Mother Dong appears in a reference of the novel stating that even Dong Zhuo's mother was not spared in the discriminate killings of his family after Zhuo's downfall). |

Lu Lingqi would be wonderful as the second Wei female officer.
 Lady Wu should round up the Sun family... hahaha. She doesn't have to appear as a grandma, considering Sun Jian's appearance. Plus, she'd easily fit into the Musou modes of her children. |

Wu Chicks that are worth noting: Wu Guotai: Sun Jian's wife and mother to all the Sun brats. (Actually, Sun Jian married a Lady Wu and had most of his kids through her, but Sun Shang Xiang was born from his wife's sister. Sun Jian is a pimp.) Lady Sun: Sun Ce's daughter and Lu Xun's wife. Some interesting tidbits: she's older than Sun Shang Xiang. (So apparently Sun Ce's a pimp too.) Sun Luban: Sun Quan's daughter. Played a key role in court politics, and not a good one. She helped get the legitimate crown prince slandered. Lady Xu: Sun Yi's wife. Although Lady Xu's story is a good one (Sun Yi's assassinated, so she pretends to agree to marry one of the assassins when in reality she plots against them and kills them), it's not very worthy for Dynasty Warriors. Zhou Ying: Zhou Yu's daughter. I only say she shouldn't be in the game because she isn't married to someone in the game like Lady Sun is. Potentially, she could work to help give Wu more later characters. Wei chicks that are worth noting: Cao Qinghe: Daughter of Cao Cao and Xiahou Mao's wife. Slandered her own husband, and apparently didn't like him much. Cai Yan: An artist and musician who was kidnapped by the northern tribes and later sent for by Cao Cao and married to one of his officials. Xin Xianying: Xin Pi's daughter. Worth noting because she was known for her intelligence. Zhang Chunhua: Sima Yi's wife. Apparently, Sima Yi grew less and less fond of her as he got older, but still respected her for her brilliance. |

Or a pedofile. Yeah, I don't think this Lady Sun should be in the game, but maybe Sun Luban could be interesting. To be frank, I don't think Wu needs any new females at all. They already have the most on the roster, which means that Wei [and maybe Shu] should be rounded out with some hawt chicks first. But I still think Trieu Thi Trinh should be implemented, no matter what. >_< |

I don't think Zhou Ying or Lady Sun should be added because then the Qiaos, Sun Ce and Zhou Yu would be made to look older which wouldn't feel right (especially for the Qiaos ^^) Lady Wu should deffinately be added because then you could see the family from Sun Jians perspective easier from the way he speaks to her and she could act slightly like Noh to Nobunaga but much nicer. and I think she would be a very kind, loving and motherly woman who is over protective of her husband and children and I think Zhang Chunhua could add some comedy with her and Sima Yi's relationship. also her and Sima Yi could be almost like rivals to Zhen Ji and Cao Pi. Wasn't there Lü Bu's daughter? I do remember reading something about her in the Three Kingdoms, and she was also depicted here: http://san.pengguo.com/index.php?mode=view&view=86 I know she doesn't fight but wow, imagine how cool it would be if Lü Bu's daughter was at the same level as Ina... or even more ogre-like. KOEI gave her the name Lu Lingqi. I played as her in Dynasty Tactics 2, I like her design and she's quite a powerful officer (nothing less from Lu Bu's daughter ^_~). |

Zhang Chunhua sounds like a good choice to me, I can see her becoming Zhen Ji's b****y friend. They would gang up on people and just go at it. It would be beautiful. The only problem I see is that I think Sima Yi's image would be somewhat softened by adding his wife, since Koei likes to make couples pretty lovey-dovey, or at least have one lovey moment. Sima Yi needs to stay a cold, cunning bachelor. |
