What Osaka battle do you think is better? And I don't mean the crappy Tokugawa and Kotaro 1, I mean the 1 which is closer to historic. I personally prefer SW1s as I liked Yukimura's charge >.< I spelt siege wrong in the title and poll, can someone change it plz >.< |

Definetly SW1,it had a large and pretty map,and had much more drama in the battle. While in SW2 it had a crappy little map, with no drama in it at all. |

Also, SW1 has the Sanada-Maru, which is either the Sanada Ward in SW2, or not in it at all... And if it is the Sanada Ward then...it is not very helpful... I generally think the SW1 version is more historic, more fun, more dramatic. There is more, but I can't think of them atm

I would say both. SW2 had that cannon blow up the hell out of main ward. But I liked when (SW1) Yukimura took command over the whole army and charged into the Tokugawa main camps. Personally, I don't like Osaka since it's not as much fun as Sekigahara. |

I'd have to say SW. The outer map of the castle was bigger but easier to navigate than SW2's, which was smaller and a hell of a lot more difficult to navigate. When you get in the castle in SW, it catches fire when you're on the 4th or 5th floor, making it imperative to finish the stage as fast as possible. SW2, not even close. |

What are you talking about? that is the last level of Sengoku. Yukimura begs for him and no one will help him, the ninja girl doubts him, all hope is lose, Date comes in, Hanzo is there. They are outnumbered and yet he still charges and in his ending he dies |

SW1 is alot better. You go around and ask for help and your lord and some coward refuse to help you by lending troops. You have to go around and ask for a audience with your lord and a general help let you in. Then they spit in your face and you know all hope is lose.... You wonder if the others can hold up or not... the level is so hard to go through and you make sure no one reachs the castle. Then you charge at the enemy through gunfire and everything esle.. SW2 is.... Sanada ward, Musashi helps, no challenge at all even though your very outnumber. THe SW1 surrounding was more dark. Sekigahara wasn't that fun, they you get cannon blow up at you and people betray you and the perfect story falls apart for the 3 brothers |

That's why I like it, Sekigahara is the most strategic battle in the game. As for SW1's Osaka, your right. But is their any way to get Hideyori fighting? |

Oh yes, especially when playing on the Tokugawa side and all your allies die in the first 10 minutes. |

You can prevent all your allies from dying just by reinforcing Naomasa's and Fukushima's unit. |

WTH? Naomasa and Masanori weren't in SW Seige of Osaka Castle. Check the Officer List and they're not there. |

Oh, I misunderstood when you said ''all your allies die.'' I thought you were referring to the Sekigahara battle. I don't remember a lot of people dying at Osaka. |

I was talking about SW Seige of Osaka when you're playing on the Tokugawa side. Sekigahara's just a barrel of laughs, whether it's the Eastern or Western Army |

I just dislike the first one in general because I hate going all way into the castle to have Harunaga Ono tell you to piss off all the way back. |

I find SW Osaka easier than SW2s...maybe because I don't have to fight an insanely overpowered Musashi and destroy a cannon at the same time... But SW's one was annoying...it was like running from here to there...and the ending didn't seem to make the whole trip worth my time... |

I still prefer SW1 Siege Of Osaka for historic sake. The only thing I dislike of it is just too short battle & awful castle stage. Btw, SW2 Siege Of Osaka has much better replay value, and better music too. Musashi in Chaos is still sissy though. |

What I've noticed is a lot of you are saying from Tokugawa view is the bad points >.> Such as short battle and the castle stage, both from Tokugawa. The stage is long as Yukimura (a bit too long maybe for some ppl o.O) and is generally more fun to fight off the large Tokugawa army than to attack the small area of Toyotomi forces. The SW2 has less replay value imo. As Yukimura I mean. Its just annoying sometimes... The battle always follows the same pattern in SW2, the same officers die in the same order if they aren't helped, etc. In Chaos difficulty anyway. SW1 it varries a lot. Also its more challenging to keep all the officers alive (next to immposible o.O) The clips I like, and I prefer the SW1 Osaka music to the SW2. I also like Fate, which is the music during Yukimura's charge... |

I've yet to keep all of the officers alive at the Osake Siege in SW1 in normal, only in easy, and I don't count that a victory. In SW2, Musashi gets annoying when you're trying to destroy the cannon, and he keeps knocking you about. |
