My solution is to equip your weapons with an ice element and use his C4 until the enemy is frozen. Then right when he's frozen. Unleash your level 3 musou! He'd be dead before he is freed :lol: |

I always just stood still (with officers) and let the blades do the damage. The ice weapon works, but since his element is Dark for his fourth weapon i wouldn't put to much trust in that. |

I'm not a big fan with the demon element. I just use specific elements for specific characters, Like Ice for Musashi and Wind for Yukimura and so and so with others. |

Thats...strange... Fire is Yukimura's best imo... 4th Weapon or not... Also Dark is 1 of the best elements generally. So I personally like those 2 characters 4th weapon elements. For Musashi's Musou I personally run around if the officers fall down, or for crowd clearing. |

I just treat musashi as the Zhou tai of Samurai warriors, Just using his standstill musou with his ice element. But usually i keep his fourth weapon as a demon element just for some reasons. |

Since when do u need to use ice for Zhou Tai's musou?  You hit an enemy, and they aren't getting out unless they're hit away

Like I've said before, because of his level 3 musou effect all you have to do is use his musou and instead of standing there run around the battlefield killing everything unless your purposely trying to aim for officers. |

Push the enemy against a wall. I do it all the time with Nagamasa, and thats how I was able to defeat Hideyoshi in under one minute, quite easily when trying to get the Katsuie bodyguard. |

From what I've seen so far, he's amazing. Possibly has the potential to be the best character in the game. You can do a combo, and even if the enemy blocks against the whole thing, you can press R1+Square afterwards to counter their counter-attack. In that sense, he could really be invincible if you use him right and get him resilience in case he actually does get hit. I had the fortune of getting the acclaim and gold+ skills with him through battles, so I think I'm going to train him and attempt to get his fourth weapon. |

Musashi is the best
everyone knows that :lol: He is my favourite character in the game. His personality is awesome and so is his moveset. I think Musashi has the best story mode in SW2. I also think he is better then Honda and Musashi should win the tournament of champions.

Definatly 1 of the best characters in the game if not the best. I am best with him either way. He is not my favourite, but he is only after Yukimura. His moveset is simply the most devestating in the game if used right. His musou can tare through any officer, and his level 3 musou is a great crowd clearer. His R1 to counter is great, and gaining his musou can be useful as well. His personality is good. I only think this during his campaign though. All the others he just seems arrogant, nothing else there, except perhaps Yukimura's at Osaka. Either way, Great moveset, great personality. |

Musashi certainly has one of the best movesets in the game. He is so fast it makes it hard for enemies to do anything
I dont normally like musou attacks when they stand in one spot but I love his :lol: Its perfect for tearing officers apart :lol: I dont like his personality however  I really dont know why but it annoys me, I usually like arrogant characters but not him for some reason its weird and I still havent forgiven him for killing Kojiro <_<

Undoubtedly he has a great moveset, that is undeniable. However, if you don't give him ice or death, he gets knocked off of his pedestal as godly from the get go. Although, he is able to tear through both crowds and generals pretty easily with his 4th weapon. And his level 3 musou attack makes him very abusable, seeing as how he no longer even has to attack to cause huge damage, especially with awakening level 3. As for his personality, I think it sucks. He is the most arrogant character in the game, hands down. He's pretty annoying, always running around saying he's the strongest. Challenging all of the strong characters. Plus the fact that he's almost always a charged up general, doesn't help the fact. While I don't want them to turn him into the cookie cutter strong guy, trying to prove that he's the strongest, adding a bit more depth to his character would help greatly. I mean even Kojiro has a better story than him, and it's about him trying to perfect his swordsmanship so that he can end people's suffering. |

Musashi is easily one of the best characters in SW2. His combination of speed and strength is unmatched. However, I agree with gtown, his arrogance is also unmatched. Too much of his personality & I'm ready to switch off the console. I will say however, that I get much satisfaction from taking out 5000+ enemies in his dream stage. I can't say that about any other character. His musou with Awakening 3 is fun for shredding crowds with. I love his abusable C1 attack for those officers who can't stop blocking, especially in Survival Mode. |

Musashi in my opinion has one of the best movesets in SW2, the other "best" being Tadakatsu's. Musashi's pretty fast too, and if you face him as an opponent, pretty strong as well. He is the most arrogant character in SW2, even Masamune pales in comparison. I thought that KOEI was going to use the calm side of Musashi's personality instead of making him an arrogant loudmouth. I just want to put my head between my knees every time I play as him or fight against him. |

Can somebody who voted for poor moveset please explain themselves? How could you find Musashi's moveset to be poor? He's a good crowd clearer, excellent on a horse, and a good duelist character (meaning, he's good at one vs. one fights vs. enemy officers, which not all crowd clearers are good at). His special+square is quite possibly the most useful special move in the game (assuming that's the one where he counters enemy moves). |

My first impression on him was, he is powerful and yet his skill can be questioned. After playing as him I didn't see much favoritism for him. His Musou is like Nunchaku! (Looks a lot like he swings his swords in that direction, LOL!) His move-set seemed a little difficult for me, and I didn't enjoy his story mode. He's not really much of a character for me, but he is decent, I can say that much. |

YEs, the most broken if you ask me. C1 that has 2 different attacks that break your guard. C3 that breaks your guard and a C4 that activates an element on almost every hit. Not to mention his skills, which are two of the best in the game and a Keiji style musou attack. Add in the death element and Awakening level 3 and you've got the most broken character in KOEI history. Not even Lu Bu had a moveset as broken as his. |

Samurai Warriors 2 characters are in general much more ridiculously overpowed than DW ones. DW5's Lu Bu wasn't really that abusable. But yes, super Musashi is insanely broken. |

Musashi is much better than Kojiro, IMO, though for biased reasons that's. I didn't mind Kojiro at the start when he wasn't playable, and still haven't got SW2:XL, but his personality is just too creepy and disturbing for me. Musashi Miyamoto is the greatest swordsman in all of Japan! Though he can act a bit too overconfident, but that doesn't sway my opinion too far away. Anyway, I would like to see him with a new voice actor of whom has a more deeper voice, and see how that works out. |
