I am surprised no one made a topic dedicated to one of the greatest officers ever... Xiahou Dun. He may have ate his eyeball after Cao Xing took it out with an arrow but that is why people liked him because it was cool that he ate his eyeball like that. No one would had the balls to did what he did (no pun intended) but this was what made him a memorable character. Besides, he is a good beginner character mainly because of his attacks and musou so come discuss it all about him here. |

I'm suprised also that there is no topic about him yet. I guess I overlooked it.
 But yes he is in my top 5 Wei officers without a doubt, but he's not my favorite as Zhang Liao is.  And he does have a great MS and personality. |

Although I think Zhang Liao is Wei's best overall, Dun is my favorite. He is the first character I ever picked in a DW game and he rocks. His look, personality, weapon, and moveset all go together perfectly. One of the few C1 that can clear a crowd, and if not for that darn hop at the end his C3 would be the best in the game. And a more than worthy rival. |

I like the scimtar idea, that to me is very impressive. I remindes of the 'Chines Sword' moveset from Soul Calibur 3. They are very mch alike. |

His moveset and personality are good and his story's kind of boring. He's pretty much all "I wanna kill Guan Yu." for most of it. |

He's my second favorite Wei character after Zhang Liao. I think Xiahou Dun is a good character and he is very loyal to Cao Cao. Btw, what is his relationship to Xiahou Yuan? |

It would be nice if they had more emphasis on him actually losing and eating his own eye. In all the games I've played relating to the Three Kingdoms only once in a small talk around the planning section in Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires does Cao Cao meantion that he lost his eye in the previous battle. Anyway, I think he is a good character; but not a great one. I'd place him 3rd of the Wei officers (behind Zhang Liao & Xu Huang). |

I love him since DW2 he was the char I play in ,the first to be maxed the first to got his last weapan,the first char to complate his mosou and he is my fav wie gen.zhange liao is the 2nd and too close though |

Xiahou Dun has always been my favorite character in DW, he was the first character I played with. i espacially like his weapon, its a big sword which no one in this game have. i think that cao cao will be my second best and then cao pi not zhang liao |

Xiahou Dun has always been my favorite in the DW series. I also favor the Wei army. They have the best leader and they have discipline. Xiahou DUn is the most loyal retainer you could ask for. (Except for in DW tactics II.) He has a cool weapon and even gives his eye to Cao Cao. His moveset is awesome and so is his attack speed. Not to mention how cool he looks. I liked his VO in DW4 hope WO is similar to that one. |

Yeah i agree. Speaking of which, xiahou dun's new look and hairstyle reminds me a lot of masamune from sengoku basara. Not to mention, both of have are voiced by the same person in jap.

Xiahou Dun was and still is awesome. I love his persona his move-set. The story he get's with Guan Yu as his rival, non-stop chasing on that. His weapon also is like Sakon's in a way. Which I think was pretty cool, seeing as how Koei doesn't do that much. His voice is great all so. Over-all Xiahou Dun is great. |

Xiahou Dun... His the first character I ever used (DW4) and he's still pretty good in the later games. His R1 in WO is heaps good. Although may not be one of my favourite characters overall, if it's only Wei, he'd be of my favourites there. |

When I was in Mid school. And I hear abou DW Bring Xiahou Dun in that. I think he can take your eye our and throw in opponent. I was silly when I was young. But it make Xiahou DUn become my second interest character beside cao cao |
