Stupid Koei. When will they ever actually give him a costume where he doesn't have his eye patch... Oh well, I still go by what I said that they seriously toned down Xiahou Dun in DW6, as he once regained his form in WO2 and was a treat to use again. In DW6 he doesn't look as good, his moveset is no more fierce enough and he's practically too calm... Once again, just my views on his character. |

Meh, I still maintain that once you get used to his new moveset, it's just as good or better than his previous one. I do agree that he is far too calm and level headed for his character, though. He was known as a hot headed and brash warrior. I want Xiahou Dun without an eyepatch before he gets shot by an arrow in the left eye. It is funny to see he gets shot by an arrow with his eyepatch on.  @ZhouTai50: KOEI can put Xiahou Dun without the eyepatch only for RotK XI, his portrait. Yep, I agree...in RoTK, he is an aggressive and hot-tempered warrior but in DW he is being made as cool and calm (just see the video above) |

They can easily make a Xiahou Dun without an eyepatch for DW. Just make it an alternate costume. Preferably an actual alternate so that it's not just a patch. Then switch his outfit over to his regular appearance. But seeing as Koei hasn't really done any real alternate costumes since SW1, it isn't going to be likely something like that would occur. |

For some odd reason I been taken a liking to Xiahou Dun in Empires more then I did in DW6. It may have to do with how I have his weapon set up which makes him more enjoyable to use. He also has some great quotes in the game as well which makes up for the bland quotes he has in DW6 originally including his officer defeated quote. Dunnie is still one of my favorites along with Zhang He, Cao Cao, and Cao Pi.

Xiahou Dun has always been teh first Wei character i used in every game his moveset is awesome and in dw6 his reach is amazing |
