Always seem to be the flirt type in all games, eh? XD I love Magoichi for a number reasons. However! I won't admit that I like his moveset -- may be because I'm not one for guns. While it's awesome that he uses both close and distance combat, it gets annoying when I keep missing the enemy. ;_; His personality..? LOVE it. The cool, James Bond type (he has -that- sort of smile, yeah?) just without Bond's lady luck. He almost seems like a comic relief to me -- him and Hideyoshi. I love their BFFs interaction. also..

I think Magoichi Saika is a fantastic addition to the series, while he is not one of the most historically correct additions he has enough of a tie to play a role in the game. The personality the guy has is just priceless, he reminds me of another favourite character called Kyle in Suikoden V...he too is one who considers himself a funny ladies man. Massive win for his personality for me, as for his move set and fighting style. It's not bad, having the additional firing range helps make him a versatile and safer character to use at times. Although in terms of range he doesn't compare to Ieyasu, but he has more speed and technicay style attacks to make up for it. Overall, I'd say he is a fantastic character with a hilarious Personality, with a reasonable, but not perfect move set to go along with it. |

I voted for the second option. I didn't like playing him at all. In the first game, he wasn't a great character either, but I played him anyways because I thought his triangle move was hilarious. I only played him in this game in order to unlock Date Masamune. At first I thought, "Oh cool, Magoichi, I should level him up," and bought a bunch of skills for him. Then I found out how he played, and felt like I wasted a lot of the gold I had accumulated.

Magoichi Saika is one of the characters that I really hate to play with. His attack range is so short and his triangle move is misses the enemy and it doesn't do that much damage. His R1 move is probably the best move he got :lol: When I play with him I normally use his R1 and Triangle and Square to finish the game. I voted for the 3rd one..... |

Magoichi makes me laugh with that attitude he has. (spoilers) I can recall a funny dialoge with him and Hideyoshi: HT: "Is there anyone as beautiful as Oichi? MS: "Sure there is! You're looking right at him" HT: "Care to put bag of gold coins where you're mouth is, Magoichi?" MS: "No problem! It'll be the easiest cash I've made." lol |

Magoichi was definatelly one of my favorite characters back on the first Samurai Warriors game. After that it kind of went downhill with him IMO. His move-set weapon, appearance, voice. I really thought everything he had back on the first game was amazing. I was able to make different combos out of that. No, it's a little hard for me to play was him. (SW2) |

One of the best personality and story wise, one of the most difficult characters to use gameplay wise. His moveset lacks range and his musou was one of the worst in SW until they improved it in SW2. To me, his SW2 ending was probably my favourite, it came out of nowhere for me and how he dies with Hideyoshi promising to unite the land, it was a pretty tragic ending, just not on the same level as Oichi's one.

oh yeah, my big brother said something about akechi's hair in Gracia's dream.. But, i forgot what was that about XD Anw, i vote for poor moveset, but great personality I really dont like his moveset since SW1.. It's too individual-ish His musou in SW2 is better than SW1 though

SW2XL gave him a minor boost with his new charge attack which is powerful, but nothing that special. The thing about Akechi's hair was a response to Ina's bantering about how her father is the perfect man, even outside war. |

He is my current fav. SW character. He has a few nice guardbreaking moves,and can have a nice gun attack with his R1,once you equip him with a weapon with Shura on it. His S-string isn't bad.Not great either. But his charges are good,so are his R1 attacks.

i think that Magoichi is the coolest personality in the whole game and has also got the unique weapon to go with it awsome warrior and in my oppinion best story mode in SW2XL |

I love Magoichi! He's great all around! Personality gave me the lolz and for the moveset it pwn in WO but in SW it was alright! And his ending in SW2 made me had my moments!  Also has anyone notice that Magoichi look like Kevin from Resident Evil outbreak TWIN!!! LOL

One of my favorite ones in the SW series.The only thing I mind about his moveset is his speed,a little slow but you gotta love his personality.He hits on any pretty woman and always gets rejected,it's so funny and is actually someone who doesn't ridicule himself doing so.I demand more of him. |

I have been using "Mago" a lot more actually. I still love his personality as much as I used to, although I'm becoming more font of his move set as well the more I use him. I find all of his charge attacks very useful (Bar C1, it's just too random). C2 is officer killing delight, C3 is also quite useful in beating down officers. then C4 is excellent for clearing. Add all that, to an already excellent Musou, and decent firing range and power (better then say...Masamune) he is a delight to use. And him been a flirt is great for many LOLs too. |

Not much of a choice up there in the polls :rolleyes: . But he is a fairly decent character. I wouldnt say I love the guys personality, but I think he is quite funny. His moveset is good, I do think his C4 lacks a bit, not really the crowd clearer it should be. But I do really like his musou, I find it quite effective, especially if it is longer. |
