IGN and many large reviewing sites for that matter tend to be rather negative to any series which releases repeatitive similar titles. Usually the same reasons of "not much new" etc.

But most of us obviously don't care what they say, we still purchase the titles and love them - that's what matters. ^_^

A lot of people dunno how to play Warriors game they only know how to put one button repeatedly they dont know combos, they dont know how to summon horse, they dont know how to swap and double musou, they dunno hold the musou key for 10 secs for unlimited musou attacks, so IGN are those people, not all but some.

You make one heck of a valid point Chin. Only reason I say that is because I know a couple of people who own Dynasty Warriors games and they don't know what the heck their doing. All they do is smash the attack button and just kill. It's bad enough they don't pay attention to the character their using either. They just don't take the time to understand the full concept of the genre like us true Dynasty Warriors gamers.

Let's put it this way, yes Koei recycles ideas, stages, gameplay, also, they bring out expansions of games for what people say is just milking it for the money. I agree but i am not complaining nor do i want them to stop. I mean what company doesn't want to make money? They release Warriors Orochi in Japan for ps2 and here for ps2 and 360, why? Because 360 has a very big fanbase here in America, Koei knows they make tons of money in Japan but they wan't to make good money in America too. Koei has never left us hanging. These are American release dates for the various Warriors games.

DW2: 10/25/2000
DW3: 11/26/2001
DW3XL: 1/13/2003
DW4: 3/25/2003
DW4XL: 11/04/2003
DW4E: 3/18/2004
SW: 5/06/2004
SWXL: 11/05/2004
DW5: 3/29/2005
DW5XL: 11/16/2005
DWPSP: 3/16/2005
DW5E: 3/28/2006
SW2: 9/19/2006
DW2PSP: 10/24/2006
SW2E: 2/27/2007
DWDS: 7/25/2007
DWG: 8/28/2007
WO: 9/18/2007
SW2XL: TBA 2007
DW6: TBA 2008

As you can see Koei started off slow with Warriors games but once they flourished they kept us entertained throughout the entire year. Look at the dates starting from 2003, Koei has been busy and constant. Fans of other series could only dream they're favorite games came out on a schedule like Warriors. Admit it guys even if its the same button mashing over and over, we got it pretty damn good.

Just wanted to say, IMO, SW2XL should be in the US this year. It should not take that long to translate/get voice actors. I can understand why Warriors Orochi would take 6 months, but not SW2XL.

I suppose you're right, it's not that big of a game like Warriors Orochi or Samurai Warriors 2, so I'm guessing we will get it around November/December.

EDIT: Big as in lengthly and packed with information. DW5 and SW2 we're around 4GB's while the Empires and XL games were around 2GB's.

im dissapointed in KOEI for realeasing warriors oroichi too soon before samurai warriors XL its just....not logical....if ur going to have a crossover game it should include all the warriors......meh i doubt ill be buying any more of thier games now though anyway they have been going down hill since dynasty warriors 3.

the 6th one looks crap anyway....

I dunno but that review link well this one http://www.g4tv.com/xplay/reviews/1437/Rom...ingdoms_XI.html (watch the video) is so funny! But they reviewed it like a crap!

It's always interesting to find these kind of half-minded human beings that live only to insult others. I've seen a lot of Dynasty Warriors reviews and they've all been with negative connotation. But it's a simple way to tell that they are Americans (I'm one too). I game with sports, fighting, rpg, fps, text-based, puzzle, and I've got to say Koei's got a great way with their games.

They just jealous Koei got to the idea first, but they can never tear Koei down.
