I just don't remember Okuni being anywhere in the game. I could be wrong, and she's not particularly a character I'm interested in, so I could have overlooked her. I apologize. @ShadowHanzo: I never actually trusted gametrailers. besides, I already own the game and wrote a review for it right here on this site. Which review you trust is up to you. |

This one is better and detailed: http://koeiwarriors.co.uk/swk-review.php Don't go for the review on gametrailer, gamespot, IGN or any other places, those are big gaming sites, they just played the game like 3-5 hours then wrote the review that's it. But our review is different, MegaXtreme has actually completed the whole game and share his though which I think it's better and we're warriors fans that's a plus! |

Yes, because the best thing to do is read bias thoughts. This isn't sarcasm I'm using by the way, it's the truth. There are members on here who have written a few reviews and still hopefully keep them up-to-date. Its not until then that you would later compare them; that they would say enough to help you decide, and slightly move away from what could of happened if that member had only played or written about one game. The more reviews you write, the better. Since it gives the new members to the franchises a clearer picture, so as long as they are detailed and were currently edited. That's just one of the ways that I see it. It would be fantastic for as many members as possible to make many reviews and promote them. I mean, what's so bad that you would have to summarize and type all that you know in one post, right? Nothing. |

I plan on contributing more reviews to the site. I enjoy writing them and have written several on GameSpot (user reviews), each improving. I mean, I started with a single paragraph, but extended it to be as long or even longer than the one I posted here for SW:K. I will probably be writing a review for the U.S. version of Dynasty Warriors 6 and I noticed Genji: Days of the Blade needs a review, so I think I'll write one for that, as well. |

That will please us. The more the merrier, I suppose. But since if we were to get too many then there may be limited room on the site after a while, since the competition will become so much more fierce and competitive. Thanks a lot for your SW: Katana review. |

Whoever thought of making you fight Yukimura (with a time limit) right after fighting Tadakatsu is pure evil
I have about 13 hours of gameplay so far, mainly focusing on Musou mode and trying to achieve "S" rankings on at least one of the missions in each scenario. I've completed the 1st two Musou "stories" and will begin training as a ninja today :ph43r: I like how the game forces you to do different things, for example having to learn how to dodge attacks to reveal critical areas in one officer battle, to using only your melee weapon in another. It could get pretty boring if you did the same thing each battle ... (A) (A) (A) (Swing Remote) ( B ) rinse and repeat  |

Yeah, that's why I scored it so high. They have a nice way of mixing things up in each boss battle. And yeah, fighting Tadakatsu then Yukimura is pure evil, especially under a time limit. But hey, it's a good challenge. |

Ok, whoever thought of making you run around Odawara by flapping the Wii-mote and nunchuk around at the same time, is worse than the person I previously mentioned. A challenge I welcome ... arms that turn to jelly after shaking them so fast I do not <_< Oh, and that level where you find the Ninja Leader in the poison fog gave me motion sickness. Thankfully, I achieved an "S" rating despite that and managed to continue my string of successful "S" rankings in at least one of every scenario in each story. |

I thought running with the flapping of the remotes was kinda fun, if not exhausting. I would augh while doing it, though, making it harder. I just feel so silly doing it  . Finding the Ninja Leader in the poison fog was pretty easy for me. Motion sickness? Wow. I guess maybe the game can be TOO interactive. |

Running every so often is unique and fine with me (yea, I laugh too). But that much running in that stage was just wrong. Thankfully, I had the spear so I didn't need to swing the Wii-mote much after that.
Nah, I think its that I'm a little too sensitive to that stuff. I ended up clearing the entire map of enemies and found all the gold and EXP drops before I defeated him though. So I had a lot of time into that stage which would explain the sickness as well. |

Well I'm glad to see you're enjoying it as much as I have!
The game is awesome. The game actually just hit a price drop nationwide already. I hope it's not because of poor sales. But, if anyone has been waiting for one, it just hit $40. Buy Samurai Warriors: KATANA @ EB Games |

That's why I was able to get the game. Wal-Mart was listing it at original $49.88 but EB Games & Gamestop had it for $39.99 Based on how much interest has been shown here and on a few other sites, I'd say its due to slow sales. I just saw that KOEI is advertising the game in Nintendo Power too. |

Oh well. It's not like we can force the game down people's throats. And it is $40 at the Wal-Mart I work at. Just dropped a few days ago there. It's funny they dropped that when half of their PS3 games require price drops that happened months ago lol. That's just my Wal-Mart, though. |

 I haven't played this game in almost a month now. The 1st stage in Savior I think irritated me since I was so close to making it through the entire level without hitting a single female ... Then I fought the officer and one walked right into my spear  After that, I started hitting them on purpose <_< |

I haven't played it in a while, either. I hated that mission so much, or any mission like that where you can't hit civilians. I mean, I don't hate civilians, but it's frustrating when they walk right into your attack. |

I did play this again finally and completed the first storyline in Savior with another "S" ranking ... then turned it off once Magoichi started blabbering about Oichi being the most beautiful woman in Japan at the beginning of the next story <_< Nouhime > Oichi anyday ... I'll pick it up again soon when I get some more free time, but it will be split once I get SW2:XL this week :ph43r: |

Good game, but I wish there was more of the feeling of battle in it...kinda hard to imagine that when soliders hack at each other and it goes through them and nothing happens <_< |

I guess I could've posted this in the SW Help Thread, but since the vast majority of people here don't own this game, I'll just post my question here
I am stuck in the 4th Musou mode (Savior) and the stage where Oichi is locked in a dungeon/prison/whatever. For the life of me, I can't complete this stage in the required amount of time because I can't find the stupid dungeon <_< I find a little girl, a fragile key, a [normal] key, find the thieves and trade something with them (I can't remember now what) and I even find Goemon and wipe the floor with his oversized ninja butt for the weapon he drops, but I can't seem to find Oichi anywhere I have the Magamata (sp?) item equipped to reduce time, but it does no good because in the process of trying to retrace my steps to find her, I keep triggering all of the ambushes and lose a lot of time fighting them. I gave up after a few attempts and continued my SW2:XL pwnage, but I would like to complete this stage and continue on with the rest of the game. Any help would be appreciated EDIT: Where's MegaXtreme when you need him? EDIT: *sighs* I figured this would happen ... no one owns this game

Holy crap, I'm sorry Mr.Honda. I haven't been on in forever. Thankfully, I can help you. I had to replay the level to get every bit of info I could, but it gave me a chance to try the game out on my new HDTV. Doesn't translate well. It's not formatted for widescreen. Bummer. <_< Anyway, here's how to do it. 1. Head south until you run into the little girl being chased by the Bandit Chief. Defeat him and she'll give you the "plans". 2. Head towards the northeast to one of the larger rooms until you encounter a large group of ninjas. They will ask to exchange a small key for your plans. Say "Yes", otherwise, mission failure guaranteed. 3. Head south towards the long hallway in the center of the map. Use the small key to enter the center of the hallway (you'll be in-between two large doors marked with red lines on the map). You'll encounter Kanbei Kuroda. Defeat him. 4. Kanbei will give you a "dungeon key". You NEED this to rescue Oichi. Head west and at the end of the hall head south. 5. In the southwest room, you'll encounter the blue ninja from the beginning of the stage (He warns you about Oichi being in trouble). He'll tell you Oichi is ahead and you have the key. 6. Now look at the map. Right below the center hallway where you fought Kanbei, you should see three rooms connected by a small hallway. The center room is Oichi. Walk towards the door and that's it. Oichi is saved. I did it in 4 min. 34 seconds. I didn't use any time saving item. This is a MAJOR pain in the butt, and one of the toughest missions, but I hope this helps, dude. I'll get on more often to help you with anything else. |

I have the game myself now. Am currently doing Stealth scenario. The fact there's finally a Hojo playthrough is blowing me away. Even more so as the first stage is Kawagoe Castle, under siege by the Uesugi. This battle happened in 1545, fifteen years before Okehazama! Seeing Terumoto Mori, Morichika Chosokabe, Ginchiyo and Yoshihiro uniting to face Nobunaga in the final stage in Ascendancy was pretty sweet too. |

See, I knew that once someone who knew a bit more about history had a chance to play this, they would see that this game could hint at what's to come for future SW installments *cough*SW3*cough* When I played through the Stealth story, I had no idea about the historical value of that battle between the Hojo and Uesugi. |

Well, it's a little wierd having Kenshin there since I think the Uesugi at the time was under the original leaders before Kenshin was adopted into the clan by Norimasa Uesugi, the Kanto Kanrei(Chancellor.) Mimase Pass(Mimasetoge) is also a major important Hojo battle they had with Shingen when Shingen retreated after attempting to siege Odawara several times. God, I got pissed when I got to stage three though. I did NOT want to do another "Kotaro's Rebellion" scenario, Koei! |
