Okay, I normally don't double-post, but OMG the final boss was awesome. Maybe some other people won't think so, but it was the big highlight of the fifth story for me.

Yeah, the final boss was like "About time!". It just seemed inevitable, and I was so psyched when I saw the final boss. A very fun battle in the game.

I did it in 4 min. 34 seconds. I didn't use any time saving item. This is a MAJOR pain in the butt, and one of the toughest missions, but I hope this helps, dude.

I'll get on more often to help you with anything else.

It did help, thank you very much. Now, after completing this mission and the one that followed, I am only 2 missions away from unlocking the final Story! :D

Again, sorry for the double-post :(

Finally got to see what you both were talking about with the final boss. I loved it! The battle was harder than the others and took everything I had to clear it.

My favorite battle next to this one was definitely the 2 on 1 vs. the swordsmen ;)

Yeah, the final boss is awesome. It really is the icing on the cake. The 2 vs 1 battle was really tough. When I first started that one, I was like "No way, I'll never beat this!". I did, but with a couple of deaths. It took me some time to get the battle pattern down pat.

Wow, well that's a bit of an oxy moron! Yeah, a lot of people thought it was a bad game. It's because of how simplistic it is. I find fun in simplicity, which is why I rated it as such in my review, which I also saw you comment there. A game that's overly-complicated is not the most fun game in the world. KATANA is just a flat out fun game, like the others Warriors games, but it also delivers something fresh in the franchise with the light-gun feel.

Hi Mr.Honda, is it possible for you to record the gameplay of the final boss battle, I wonder what it is like because everyone kept saying it is very awesome, thank you!

Well, I struggled with recording music off the Wii and my computer sucks :(

I'm not sure I'd be able to capture the entire battle. However I did find this ...

SPOILER ALERT!!!! If you do NOT want the ending of this game to be spoiled, then do NOT watch the following video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jgUgPv6g64

The only difference between this and a video that I would record, is that I use Japanese voices :P and that I would probably get pwned, unlike this person  I still have much to do in SW: Katana (I don't have Chaos Mode even unlocked). Hope that helps ^_^

Thanks Mr.Honda for the link, it is indeed very interesting battle. It is so good that I can have the link and watch it on YouTube because I do not have a Wii myself.

Thanks again! Ghost Nobunaga!!!

I dunno... I kinda like the idea that you are a soldier and you use something other than a Kemari Ball, a lightsaber ripoff sword, a Kendama or a Cannon Spear.

Besides, if I want to play as Musashi, I'd just plug my PS2 back in.

I do agree with you though that is sucks that its on rails.

And you still get a Warhammer, a Boomerang, and those buzzsaw yo-yos. I wouldn't call those "basic" weapons at all.

Then there's the big boom-boom cannon~

Not to mention, that to use each weapon involves a bit more than just pressing Square, Square, Triangle ....

It has the potential to be a decent control setup for future titles, but still needs some work

WooHoo i finaly got to play this game for the first time yesterday because the first time i got it which was ages ago it didnt work and then when i found out it did work like a week ago i couldnt find my nunchuck and now i have finally found it! So my opinion on the game is... so far i have only used the sword and the bow and it is a bit hard to defeat the generals and takes a while but it is alright i suppose it needs some improvements but its not what i expected i wanted to be moving and it did kinda like the same movements but all you do is aim press A and the move the Wii remote from side to side but still it is OK!

I kinda like it, it gives it that Arcade feel.

I thought the game was pretty good, but personally, lacking in the voice acting department, running through each level to have the characters saying 2 word quotes, or grunting, kinda dissapointed me.

It has its fun parts, but the vast majority of people say that it is not good at all.

In a nutshell.

If you view it as an Arcade game, it's above average, at best.
If you view it as a Samurai Warriors game, you'll enjoy it, but it won't have a lot of unlockable content unlike other titles.
If you view it as a Wii Title, there are plenty of other mainstream options, but if you can grab it cheap, do so.
If you view it as a title in the great gaming library, look for something else.

I can't possibly be the only one who actually liked it...
Except for sketchy motion sensing (*cough* hammer*cough*) it's actually a pretty sweet game. I'm enjoying playing it very much.
It's better than the grand majority of rail shooters, that's for sure. Especially the Wii ones. HoTD gets boring pretty quick.

The game goes for $9.99 at Gamestop; there's practically no excuse now. Even if you don't like it you should still buy it.

Shades of Virtua Cop in some of the stages where the peasants get in the way. Annoyingly so in Keiji's first stage.

"DONT SHOOT!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!!"
