I hope nobody minds me posting this, but here's a small guide that I wrote about my favorite characters in Warriors Orochi. I apologize if this character guide seems very incomplete (since my focus here is more on the DW females rather than any of the other characters), so please feel free to correct me if the information here is incorrect. Also, this section might contain spoilers regarding the involvement of the characters in the storyline, so please read with caution.... I'll start with Da Qiao (who happens to be one my favorite characters in this game.)

Da Qiao
Original Affiliation: Wu
New Affiliation: None (Still With Wu)
Current Situation: Drafted into Orochi's Forces.
Unlocked In: Wu Storyline - Side Story Stage 5
Type: Technique
Weapons: Fans
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Da Qiao conjures up a small fire orb that explodes in a few moments.
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Da Qiao swings the enemy up in the air with one of her fans.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Da Qiao does a series of slashes with her fans forward and does a pirouette (spin) in the end. This attack becomes extremely effective if you're juggling enemies with a weapon that has the anti-air element.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Da Qiao glides towards the enemy with her fans. It's excellent for quickly thinning out crowds.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Da Qiao creates a reddish pink petal whirlwind which knocks the enemy up in the air. However, the range of this charge attack is a bit small, so be sure to be near towards your enemies before using it.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Da Qiao conjures up a gust of wind that blows away any surrounding foes away. It's better to switch characters instantly since the recovery time of this attack is quite slow.
Running Attack - Da Qiao dashes forward, holding her fans in front of her.
Air Charge - Da Qiao launches a fireball to the ground.
New Moves:
R1 Attack - Da Qiao releases an aura that accelerates the recovery rate of her two other teammates' Musou. This buff is non-transferable and will disappear if Da Qiao is switched with another character.
Counter Attack - Da Qiao retaliates with a back flip attack.
Battle Opinion: Da Qiao's forte lies in crowd clearing. Her attack string is great for juggling enemies and wiping out a hoard of soldiers. Her charge attacks are mainly used for repelling foes away from her. Since Da Qiao's fighting type is Technique, she can use faster versions of her charge attacks by simply pressing the R1 button instead of the Triangle button. However, doing so will cause her to consume some of her Musou. (This rule obviously applies to all Technique Type Characters.)
Storyline Opinion: Da Qiao's role is minor (aside from her appearance in the opening movie) since she only appears in a few battles (mostly as an enemy). What bothers me the most is that not only does her role in the story get somewhat overshadowed by her younger sister, she's actually forced to fight her loved ones (especially Xiao Qiao and Sun Ce) in battle.

Battle Appearances:
Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 2 (As An Enemy): Da Qiao appears as an enemy leader here. You must defeat her as well as Zhang He in order to complete this stage. (On a side note, Jiang Wei can be recruited in this stage as well.)
Has Special Quotes With:
Saika Magoichi - He flirts with Da Qiao, but she isn't really impressed at all.

Wu Storyline - Story Stage 5 (As An Enemy): Da Qiao arrives along with enemy reinforcements and cooperates with Sun Shang Xiang to defeat you. (Imagine that.... Is she willing to fight against her own husband in battle?)
Has Special Quotes With:
Sun Ce - This quote can only be heard if Sun Ce personally defeats Da Qiao. This quote seems to hint Da Qiao's true allegiance towards Wu. (Thanks, Sun Ce of East Wu!)
Xiao Qiao - Xiao Qiao calls her own sister an idiot for doubting Lord Sun Ce. Da Qiao denies this because she really believes in her husband.
Saika Magoichi - He exchanges comments with Da Qiao after realizing her identity as one of the Two Qiaos.

Wu Storyline - Side Story Stage 5 (As An Ally): Sun Ce and the others must save Da Qiao before she falls under Dong Zhuo's clutches. You can recruit Da Qiao by reaching to her first before the enemy does.
Has Special Quotes With:
Sun Ce - Da Qiao actually cries when she meets up with Sun Ce.... However, when he vows never to leave her alone, she becomes really happy.
Dong Zhuo - Dong Zhuo sounds like a real pervert here (as usual) since he tries to cuddle up towards Da Qiao.... (How scary....) When he starts drooling over her, she exclaims that she'll never love any man other than her husband.

Sengoku Storyline - Story Stage 5 (As An Enemy): She fights in this battle along with Diao Chan. However, she won't really move away from her position at all until the Evil Vixen Da Ji orders her to go to the front lines.
Has Special Quotes With:
Xiao Qiao - Both of the Qiao Sisters become sad when they're forced to fight each other in battle. Xiao Qiao even asks her why she decided to work with Da Ji.
Akechi Mitsuhide - They're pretty much determined to defeat each other. (Who do you think will win?) Da Qiao is willing to fight him for the sake of the Sun Family.
Noh - Is it me? Or does Noh sound like she's actually flirting with Da Qiao just to scare her away?
Toyotomi Hideyoshi - He compares Da Qiao to her sister and flirts with her as well. However, his comments end up angering Da Qiao.

I'm sorry if this information isn't really useful enough.... I'll try to post an entry about Xiao Qiao soon....

Here's a small guide that I made about Xiao Qiao in this game.

Xiao Qiao
Original Affiliation: Wu
New Affiliation: Sengoku (Nobunaga's Forces)
Current Situation: Has joined the Yellow Turbans.
Unlocked In: Sengoku Storyline - Story Stage 3
Type: Speed
Weapons: Fans
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Xiao Qiao rapidly (and literally) whacks enemies with her fans. Unlike in DW5, this move can become elemental (depending on Xiao Qiao's weapon).
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Xiao Qiao lightly swings her fan upwards.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Xiao Qiao swipes with her fans around before hurling one of them in a circular manner.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Xiao Qiao hurls her fans in two opposite directions, allowing her to hit enemies in the front and the rear. This is one of her more useful charge attacks since it can clear enemy crowds quite well.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Xiao Qiao conjures up a reddish pink petal whirlwind that knocks the enemy up in the air. Although this attack is similar to her sister's, Xiao Qiao can execute this attack much more easily.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Xiao Qiao does a mini version of her Musou attack. This attack is quite awkward to use.
Running Attack - Xiao Qiao flings herself towards the enemy and tackles them. However, Xiao Qiao lets herself become vulnerable before getting up. To remedy this situation, try to use any of her two new R1 attacks for a quick recovery.
Air Charge - Xiao Qiao propels herself in the air with her fans. This move is great for escaping crowds and is excellent for travelling when used together with air dashing. (Only Speed Type Characters can perform an air dash.)
New Moves:
R1 Attack (While Standing) - Xiao Qiao runs towards her enemies and flings them away with her fans.
R1 Attack (While Moving) - Xiao Qiao does a quick jump kick. This attack is extremely useful as you can practically use it for various purposes (like crowd clearing, intercepting enemy officers, escaping, etc.)
Battle Opinion: In this game, Xiao Qiao is much more flexible because of her Speed type advantages. Since some of Xiao Qiao's moves have a slow recovery time, you can simply press R1 to instantly recover and surprise the enemy. (All Speed Type Characters have the ability to cancel any of their combos with an R1 attack.) Xiao Qiao's jump kick is quite abusable in this game as you can use it whenever you're in a pinch.
Storyline Opinion: Compared to her older sister Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao is much more involved in the story as she gets separated from her husband Zhou Yu after both of them were surrounded by Orochi's Forces. Since she ends up joining Nobunaga's army, she also appears in Sengoku's ending as well. (She's actually quite cute when she gets mad.) Xiao Qiao also has a lot of quotes with various characters from both the Wu and Sengoku Side. (You have to play as her on several stages in order to see most of these quotes.)

Battle Appearances:
Wu Storyline - Side Story Stage 2 (As An Enemy): Xiao Qiao works as a general under Mitsuhide's Forces, making her an enemy. If she ever encounters Zhou Yu in battle, she'll retreat instead.
Has Special Quotes With:
Zhou Yu - Although Zhou Yu doesn't really say anything to Xiao Qiao, she looks glad to see him and immediately leaves the battlefield.
Sun Ce - She's quite upset on how she's forced to face him in battle. When he tells her that she doesn't have to fight Zhou Yu, she manages to lighten up a bit and even wishes him good luck before fighting him. (Thanks, Sun Ce of East Wu!)
Hattori Hanzo - Xiao Qiao is creeped out by him.

Sengoku Storyline - Story Stage 3 (As An Enemy): Xiao Qiao is part of the Yellow Turbans in this battle as she guards the fortress on the west side of the map. (The other fortresses are guarded by Zhang Jiao, Shima Sakon and Okuni.) She's quite loud in this battle and will go into hyper mode when the enemy peons arrive to help her out against you. You'll automatically get her along with Zhang Jiao and Okuni once you finish this stage.
Has Special Quotes With:
Da Qiao - She obviously isn't too happy fighting with her little sister.
Nobunaga - Now this first encounter is a bit scary.... Oda Nobunaga versus a cute 'little' girl?
Toyotomi Hideyoshi - He's amazed at her beauty while she seems flattered by him. (How will Nene react if she finds out about this?)

Sengoku Storyline - Side Story Stage 7 (As An Ally): If you managed to escort the messenger to safety, Xiao Qiao will arrive with reinforcements. (She really sounds too enthusiastic here.)

I appreciate this guide. It's good knowing that KOEI considered that some people would disagree with their kingdom alignments. This actually makes me want the game more.

I'd like to hear about Zhen Ji next as well as Sun Shang Xiang, but it's your thread, you do whatever you want. Thanks again!

He hardly seduces her. Many women blush when you tell them they're beautiful without them being seduced.

Oh, I definitely agree. I just wish that the resolution was better - such as Xiao Qiao and Zhou Yu finding each other and joining up would be nice - but I guess that's what Free Mode is for.

I just wish that the resolution was better - such as Xiao Qiao and Zhou Yu finding each other and joining up would be nice - but I guess that's what Free Mode is for.

If I remember correctly, Zhou Yu appears in Sengoku's final stage to help Nobunaga's Forces out. (He's probably doing this for Xiao Qiao's sake.) By the way, I apologize for taking so long with this guide.... I had to do a lot of other things first. Here's a guide about Diao Chan. I'm sorry if the information here is too limited....

Diao Chan
Original Affiliation: Others
New Affiliation: Wei
Current Position: Drafted into Orochi's Forces.
Unlocked In: Wei Storyline - Side Story Stage 5
Type: Technique
Weapons: Maces
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Diao Chan slides on the ground and sweeps any opponents on their feet. The move range of this attack has improved from past DW installments, making it very useful. This charge attack can become very abusable once Diao Chan's weapon is equipped with certain elements. (Most likely the Lightning and Godspeed elements.)
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Diao Chan swings her mace upwards. It's better to use the power-up version of this attack since it's normal execution time is slow.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Diao Chan hops and spins around several times, beating any nearby foes with her maces.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Diao Chan swings both of her maces and does a roundhouse kick, harming any opponents in front of her. If you have the right elements on her weapon, this attack can be an excellent officer killer move (provided that you used the powered-up version by using the R1 button instead of the triangle button.)
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Diao Chan creates a light pink whirlwind that blows her enemies into the air.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Diao Chan shoots out two energy blades that separate in two direction. This attack's range is a bit more narrow in this game and is much more effective against enemies from a distance.
Running Attack - Diao Chan does a cartwheel kick. It's not exactly the most useful move that she has, so it's better to stick with her slide attack (C1) instead.
Air Charge - Diao Chan jumps in the air and stomps hard on the ground.
New Moves:
R1 Attack - Diao Chan releases an aura that allows her to consume less Musou when using powered-up charge attacks. Her buff can be transferred to other characters. (It's not exactly useful for certain Speed Type Characters who don't consume Musou with their R1 attacks....)
Counter Attack - Diao Chan releases a shockwave to stun any enemies nearby. This move is very useful in difficult stages where enemies tend to interrupt your attacks.
Battle Opinion: Diao Chan has really improved in this game. Not only do her attacks have more range, the weapon system in this game gives her an edge in battle (if you know how to use it). Her slide attack (when used with the Instant Death and Godspeed elements) is one of the best ways to kill off enemies safely. It's better to team her up with other characters who can use offensive buff techniques (like Cao Cao or Okuni) to raise her attack power.
Storyline Opinion: Although Diao Chan is a minor character in the game's story, she also has a lot of quotes against Lu Bu on Wei's story. At first she became a member of Orochi's Forces along with Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo. However, she couldn't put up with Orochi's atrocities any longer and decided to join Wei. Also, she tends to lower her head in shame most of the time whenever you encounter her as an enemy officer.

Battle Appearances:
Shu Storyline - Story Stage 6 (As An Enemy) - Diao Chan appears as an enemy officer under Sima Yi's command.
Has Special Quotes With:
Saiga Magoichi - This guy just can't resist womanizing beautiful women like Diao Chan.
Shimazu Yoshihiro - He wonders what someone like Diao Chan would be doing in the battlefield....
Ishikawa Goemon - Goemon comments on how similar she is to his beloved Okuni.

Wei Storyline - Side Story Stage 5 (As An Ally) - Diao Chan becomes fed up with serving Orochi and decides to desert them. The main objective of this stage is to defeat Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu without letting either Diao Chan or Ishida Mistunari get defeated. What's interesting about this stage is that it's very reminiscent of Diao Chan's special level (known as Diao Chan's Escape) from Dynasty Warriors 3 Extreme Legends.
Has Special Quotes With:
Lu Bu - The mighty Lu Bu feels completely betrayed by Diao Chan's decision to defect against Orochi. After defeating him, she pleads him to let her go with the Anti-Orochi Forces, to which he reluctantly agrees.... (How sad.)
Dong Zhuo - He's really furious at Diao Chan for trying to leave him and orders him men to apprehend her.
Ishida Mistunari - After he saves Diao Chan, she becomes really grateful towards him....

Sengoku Storyline - Story Stage 5 (As An Enemy) - Diao Chan works under Da Ji by guarding the enemy magicians in this stage.
Has Special Quotes With:
Akechi Mitsuhide - This is one of the few moments were Diao Chan seems angry at someone.... (I wonder what he said to tick her off?)
Okuni - Finally, the two dancers meet each other face to face. Okuni seems to berate Diao Chan here for something.
Noh - Noh becomes 'interested' in Diao Chan here.... She even asks why such a lovely maiden would side with the darkness....
Toyotomi Hideyoshi - Hideyoshi becomes amazed by Diao Chan's beauty after laying his eyes on her. (It's a good thing Nene isn't here to see this....)
Naoe Kanetsugu - He pretty much gives her some harsh words.... (Poor Diao Chan....)

Here's a guide I made about Sun Shang Xiang.

Sun Shang Xiang
Original Affiliation: Wu
New Affiliation: None (Still With Wu)
Current Situation: Drafted into Orochi's Forces.
Unlocked In: Wu Storyline - Story Stage 5
Type: Speed
Weapons: Chakrams
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Sun Shang Xiang does a series of cartwheel kick. This attack is great for dealing with enemy officers.
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Sun Shang Xiang strikes her chakram upwards.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Sun Shang Xiang spins in an angle twice and releases her chakrams. This attack can be used to deal with smaller crowds.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Sun Shang Xiang hurls both of her chakrams right in front of her.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Sun Shang Xiang does an upward kick that produces a reddish pink petal whirlwind to blow enemies up in the air.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Sun Shang Xiang throws her chakrams and causes them to spin around her continuously. You can prolong this attack by rapidly pressing the triangle button. This charge attack is Sun Shang Xiang's best move since it can be used against large enemy crowds and powerful enemy generals.
Running Attack - Sun Shang Xiang slashes at her foes while dashing towards them.
Air Charge - Sun Shang Xiang sends both of her chakrams down and catches them up. This attack won't effectively reach any of her foes if she jumps too high.
New Moves:
R1 Attack (While Standing) - Sun Shang Xiang creates two energy discs that circle around for a while. It's quite easy to stack this attack with another one.
R1 Attack (While Moving) - Sun Shang Xiang affirms her reputation as the "Bow Princess" by repeatedly shooting several arrows at once. Although this attack does little damage, it can be used to distract enemies.
Battle Opinion: Sun Shang Xiang is much more of a juggler in this game because of her Speed type attributes. She can cancel any of her attacks by jumping or using her R1 attacks. Her C6 combined with the use of her stationary R1 attack makes her quite effective at juggling and crowd clearing.
Storyline Opinion: Sun Shang Xiang is one of the few female characters who happen to be more directly involved in the story. She participates in a lot of battles and can either be a persistent opponent or a valuable ally. Also, she and her new friend Ina are the only women who appear in all four storylines.

Battle Appearances:
Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 5 (As An Enemy): Sun Shang Xiang works with Date Masamune to defeat Saiga Magoichi. She even has her lady guards with her.
Has Special Quotes With:
Liu Bei - He still seems concerned for Shang Xiang despite being forced to fight against her.
Sanada Yukimura - He simply challenges Sun Shang Xiang to a duel.
Saiga Magoichi - As usual, he starts acting flirtatious again. He also says something to Shang Xiang after you defeat her.
Tachibana Ginchiyo - She's well-aware of Sun Shang Xiang's reputation and seems to respect her prowess in battle.

Wei Storyline - Story Stage 4 (As An Ally): Sun Shang Xiang and Ina (her new best friend) are here to help Cao Pi and Mitsunari defeat the rebels. It's interesting on how Shang Xiang's friendship with Ina mirrors that of Cao Pi and Mitsunari.
Has Special Quotes With:
Cao Pi - Although Sun Shang Xiang cooperates with Cao Pi, she doesn't seem too pleased by his ego.
Ishida Mitsunari - Compared to Cao Pi, Sun Shang Xiang seems to tolerate Mitsunari well enough.

Wu Storyline - Story Stage 5 (As An Enemy): Sun Shang Xiang will arrive to fight you after Ina gets defeated twice in battle. When the stage ends, she is convinced by Ina to join Sun Ce's Forces.
Has Special Quotes With:
Taishi Ci - She tells Taishi Ci to get out of her way, but he refuses to give in.
Lu Meng - Lu Meng tries to make Shang Xiang listen to reason, but she's too stubborn to even listen....
Shima Sakon - He unsuccessfully tries to convince her not to fight.
Nene - Nene lectures Sun Shang Xiang for fighting against her brother.

Wu Storyline - Story Stage 7 (As An Ally) - Sun Ce along with Sun Shang Xiang and the others must save his father and brother from getting killed. After finishing this stage, both Sun Jian and Sun Quan will join you, thus reuniting the Sun Family.
Has Special Quotes With:
Ina - Sun Shang Xiang becomes grateful when Ina shows her determination to save Sun Jian and Sun Quan.

Wu Storyline - Final Story Stage (As An Ally) - Sun Shang Xiang is one of the officers leading the attack against Orochi's men in this battle. However, there's a possibility that she might get kidnapped by the tyrant Dong Zhuo, making her inactive in battle unless you defeat Dong Zhuo immediately. To prevent this from happening, you must either have her on your team or you have to foil Dong Zhuo's ambush and face him yourself.
Has Special Quotes With:
Dong Zhuo - Dong Zhuo arrogantly underestimates Shang Xiang in this battle. He even captures her if she gets herself ambushed by him.

Sengoku Storyline - Story Stage 2 (As An Enemy) - After defeating Zhou Yu and the other enemy officers, Sun Shang Xiang appears with enemy reinforcements in order to make things worse for you.
Has Special Quotes With:
Oda Nobunaga - Sun Shang Xiang states that she's fighting for her father's sake.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi - He seems attracted to her while she immediately rejects him.

Sengoku Storyline - Side Story Stage 6 (As An Enemy) - Both Sun Shang Xiang and Ina will ambush you once you fall for the trap of the two geniuses' (Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi). You'll have to fight your way out by defeating the two female warriors before reaching the two great tacticians.
Has Special Quotes With:
Huang Zhong - When Sun Shang Xiang gives Huang Zhong the same excuse that she's given to other characters, he just tells her to fight him.
Guan Ping - Both of them talk about their fathers here.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi - He has another chance to 'talk' with Shang Xiang along with Ina.

A few additions:

Da Qiao has a special quote with Sun Ce when she shows up as an enemy in Wu Stage 5, but to hear it, you have to defeat her with Sun Ce.

Xiao Qiao also has a special line for Sun Ce in Wu Gaiden 2. She seems disappointed that she has to fight Sun Ce, and he responds by telling her that at least she doesn't have to fight Zhou Yu, which cheers her up a bit, but they still fight anyway.

Current Situation: Is part of the Resistance Forces.
Unlocked In: Initially Playable
Type: Speed
Weapons: Battle Fork
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Xing Cai hops forward and smacks enemies with her shield. In this game, Xing Cai receives a new buff effect from this move which allows her to damage any enemies she touches without even attacking them. The buff is useful especially when Xing Cai is moving around at a fast speed.
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Xing Cai hits her opponents into the air with her shield.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Xing Cai does three spinning swipes and finishes it off with a powerful slash that knocks her enemies out. This attack is one of Xing Cai's more useful charge attacks when facing enemy officers.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Xing Cai slashes in a wide manner. Pressing the Triangle button again will allow Xing Cai to continue attacking by tossing her shield around in a circular fashion.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Xing Cai charges off a horizontal whirlwind that attacks any enemies in it's direction. This charge attack is very useful for taking out enemy crowds from a distance.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Xing Cai does a powerful slash that repels any enemy soldiers away. This move is also another crowd clearing move that Xing Cai has in her disposal, but it's more effective when enemies are at close-range.
Running Attack - Xing Cai quickly charges forward and creates a shockwave afterwards.
Air Charge - Xing Cai does a quick stomp to the ground with her weapon.
New Moves:
R1 Attack (While Standing) - Xing Cai rams with her shield. This new move can instantly break an enemy's guard and is very useful against Gate Captains.
R1 Attack (While Moving) - Xing Cai does a backward somersault that creates a large wave of energy forward. Although this attack is useful for clearing crowds, it does little damage in harder difficulties.
Battle Opinion: I must say that Xing Cai has improved in this game. For a defensive character, she specializes quite well in chasing enemies and dealing with light skirmishes. Although Xing Cai seems to flinch a lot more in this game, she makes up for it by gaining the ability to perform an air dash and canceling her attacks by either jumping or using R1 attacks just like any other Speed Type character. Her riding abilities are also decent as well. I suggest that you should use Xing Cai's new energy wave attack whenever she recovers from using any of her charge attacks.
Storyline Opinion: Xing Cai is an important character in the storyline as she helps save Zhao Yun and is one of the few officers who initially remain with Shu. Despite her quiet demeanor, she has tons of conversations with other characters if you have her on your team.

Battle Appearances:
Shu Storyline - Story Stage 1 (As An Ally): Xing Cai, along with Shimazu Yoshihiro and Zuo Ci help Zhao Yun escape Ueda Castle from the Wei troops.
Has Special Quotes With:
Zhao Yun - Xing Cai is really glad to be reunited with her 'mentor'. (Although I wish that she would be reunited with Guan Ping instead....)
Tachibana Ginchiyo - Tachibana Ginchiyo befriends Xing Cai when they first meet one another.

Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 4 (As An Ally): Xing Cai helps Wei Yan pursue the bandits and their leader Ishikawa Goemon from getting away. You can also recruit him into your side by destroying all of his treasure boxes scattered around the map. Okuni also appears here as well and is willing to help you out.
Has Special Quotes With:
Ishikawa Goemon - She's one of the few people to call out on Goemon for trying to escape.
Miyamoto Musashi - Xing Cai doesn't seem to be concerned for Musashi all that much and considers him as an obstacle to her pursuit against Goemon.

Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 5 (As An Ally): Xing Cai works together with Saika Magoichi and Zhu Rong in leading the attack against Orochi's Forces. Date Masamune is the leader of the enemy army and will join you if you fulfill certain objectives in this battle.
Has Special Quotes With:
Saika Magoichi - Aside from his excessive flirting, Xing Cai seems to respect him well enough.
Date Masamune - What a contrast these two really are! Xing Cai manages to remain calm and collected when Masamune gets all hot-tempered and arrogant at her. (But then again, it's probably because he's on the losing side....)

Wu Storyline - Story Stage 3 (As An Enemy): Xing Cai is the leader of the rebel army guarding Odani Castle. Gan Ning and Ling Tong continue to resist Orochi's Forces since they both appear as enemy generals in this stage.
Has Special Quotes With:
Zhang Fei - Zhang Fei is reluctant to fight his beloved daughter, but Xing Cai doesn't hold back against him. (How cold....)
Gan Ning - When the situation becomes bad for the Resistance Forces, Gan Ning will start to complain to Xing Cai and will attack you on his own.
Noh - Why does Noh enjoy 'talking' to the pretty women of DW?

Zhen Ji
Original Affiliation: Wei
New Affiliation: None (Still With Wei)
Current Situation: Drafted into Orochi's Forces.
Unlocked In: Wei Storyline - Side Story 6
Type: Speed
Weapons: Flute
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Zhen Ji plays with her flute and creates a bubble that bursts into a powerful sound wave after a few seconds.
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Zhen Ji does a high kick upwards.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Zhen Ji gracefully slaps any foe in front of her. Although this attack is somewhat amusing, it isn't really practical to use at all in the heat of battle since Zhen Ji can get easily interrupted when performing it.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Zhen Ji swiftly kicks enemies away from her. Although this attack's range is small, it can be quite useful to combo with when Zhen Ji's weapon is equipped with the Lightning Element.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Zhen Ji conjures up a blue petal whirlwind that blows enemies up into the air. Unlike any of the other female DW characters' C5, Zhen Ji's whirlwind attack has a much smaller range than before, meaning that she won't easily hit enemies in front of her at all.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Zhen Ji creates a strong sound wave by playing with her flute. Despite being a Speed Type Character, Zhen Ji can't really cancel out the recovery lag of this attack.
Running Attack - Zhen Ji does a quick double jump kick.
Air Charge - Zhen Ji plays a strong note with her flute in the air. This attack shouldn't be used when you're up too high, or it will completely miss.
New Moves:
R1 Attack (While Standing) - Zhen Ji rushes to the nearest opponent and rapidly slaps them silly, ending the 'assault' with a hard slap that can knock anyone far away. Although this attack is a much better alternative to Zhen Ji's third charge move, it's rather difficult to use this attack on duels since it can miss quite easily.
R1 Attack (While Moving) - Zhen Ji hops around while playing with her flute, causing her to create a unique sound wave that can slow anyone down. This move is very useful as you can use it to clear crowds and slow them down at the same time. However, be careful when using this attack on a crowd as Zhen Ji can get easily interrupted while using it and even your own allies are not immune to the effects as well.
Battle Opinion: Zhen Ji has become a much faster character in this game. Because of her new Speed Type attacks and abilities, she's capable of hindering enemy troops from advancing and is perfect for pursuing generals. Also, make good use of her R1 flute attack since it will make things easier for you on harder stages.
Storyline Opinion: Although Zhen Ji's role in the story is minor, she mainly appears in most battles as a thorn on Wu's side. It's safe to assume that even though she joins Orochi's Forces, she's still loyal to Cao Pi. Also, she has quite a few quotes with her Sengoku counterpart Noh.

Battle Appearances:
Wei Storyline - Side Story Stage 6 (As An Ally): Zhen Ji leads a seperate attack against Dong Zhuo with her own troops. She will immediately rejoin the Wei army after you save her from the fake Cao Pi. However, it can be pretty hard to get her to join you since you have to quickly defeat the six magicians here first in order for the fake Cao Pi to appear.
Cao Pi - This quote can be heard after Cao Pi personally saves her from his imposter. She's very glad to see how concerned he is towards her.

Wu Storyline - Side Story Stage 3 (As An Enemy): Zhen Ji will arrive to attack you after defeating several enemy officers. She'll make your life difficult especially when you have to prevent the messengers from leaving the castle in order for Noh to join you.
Has Special Quotes With:
Oda Nobunaga - Zhen Ji is completely intrigued by Nobunaga's presence.
Noh - A catfight ensues between the two regal women after they encounter one another. (With Zhen Ji being so indignant and Noh acting all smug....)

Wu Storyline - Side Story Stage 4 (As An Enemy): Zhen Ji is the enemy leader in this stage and will personally try to bring you down herself after you've finished escorting all of the peasants to safety.
Has Special Quotes With:
Tokugawa Ieyasu - Although they sound a bit polite with each other, I can't seem to understand what both of them are talking about. (Then again, my skills on understanding Japanese happen to be quite poor....)

Wu Storyline - Story Stage 6 (As An Enemy): Zhen Ji accompanies Maeda Keiji in battle against the Wu army in He Fei. Also, Zhen Ji herself is powered up in this stage, making her more dangerous to deal with. Try to lure them both to your base in order to trap them so that you can hear the quote listed below.
Has Special Quotes With:
Maeda Keiji - When Zhen Ji becomes suspicious about being lured to your base, she tries to warn Keiji but he doesn't seem too worried.

Zhu Rong
Original Affiliation: Others
New Affiliation: Shu
Current Situation: Is part of the Resistance Forces.
Unlocked In: Shu Storyline - Story Stage 4
Type: Power
Weapons: Boomerang
Move List:
First Charge Attack (C1) - Zhu Rong pulls off a breakdancing kick continuously. The last hit of this attack can lift foes up into the air.
Second Charge Attack (C2) - Zhu Rong hurls her boomerang up in the air.
Third Charge Attack (C3) - Zhu Rong throws her boomerang towards her enemies several times (depending on how many times you've pressed the Triangle button) before stunning them.
Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Zhu Rong tosses her boomerang around herself. This charge attack is simply effective when Zhu Rong is surrounded by enemies.
Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Zhu Rong creates a whirlwind that lifts any enemy upwards.
Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Zhu Rong creates a more powerful whirlwind (similar to Da Qiao's C6) that can blow her enemies away. This is another great crowd clearing move that Zhu Rong has in her possession.
Running Attack - Zhu Rong slashes with her boomerang in a horizontal manner.
Air Charge - Zhu Rong turns around in mid-air and shoots a wave of energy downwards. (In DW5, Zhu Rong used to spray fire with this attack.)
New Moves:
R1 Attack - Zhu Rong summons the spirit of the Fire Goddess within her and shoots three large fireballs at once. Although this new attack consumes a chunk of Zhu Rong's Musou, it's more than enough to make up for the fact that Zhu Rong lost her old aerial fire attack.
Battle Opinion: Although Zhu Rong still fights the same as she did in DW5, she's gained a few advantages in this game. As one of the two Power Type women in this game (the other is Tachibana Ginchiyo), Zhu Rong won't easily flinch while performing her normal attack string. Although her air fire attack is replaced by a single energy wave, she finally gets to prove her status as the Goddess of Fire with her new powerful R1 attack. It's smart to pair her up with Toyotomi Hideyoshi since his R1 move can remedy her slow attacking speed.
Storyline Opinion: Zhu Rong becomes a main character in Shu's story, although her role seems minimal. She still remains with her husband Meng Huo and is always accompanied by her amazon troops. What's interesting is that Zhu Rong actually participates in battles outside Nan Zhong on Story Mode. She also appears in the ending along with various characters after defeating Orochi for good.

Battle Appearances:
Shu Storyline - Story Stage 4 (As An Ally): Zhu Rong and her husband Meng Huo along with the rest of the Nanman army get themselves in a rather tight situation against Orochi's Forces. However, Zhao Yun and company manage to save the married couple, causing them to merge with Shu.
Has Special Quotes With:
Saika Magoichi - He attempts to woo the exotic beauty, but his reaction is priceless when he finds out who her husband is.
Tachibana Ginchiyo - She seems to get along quite well with various female warriors (and Zhu Rong is no exception). How does she do it?

Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 5 (As An Ally): Zhu Rong cooperates with Saika Magoichi and Xing Cai in this battle. She seems to get along with Magoichi quite well here.
Has Special Quotes With:
Saika Magoichi - Despite his womanizing attitude, Both Zhu Rong and Xing Cai commend him on his leadership skills after winning this battle.
Date Masamune - Unlike Masamune's conversation with Xing Cai, both he and Zhu Rong butt heads against each other.

Shu Storyline - Side Story Stage 6 (As An Ally): Zhu Rong and Meng Huo are the main stars of this stage as they arrive just in time to help Miyamoto Musashi out. Musashi himself is also recruitable in this stage if you've managed to open the dam and prevent all of his allies from getting defeated.
Has Special Quotes With:
Miyamoto Musashi - When Zhu Rong becomes impressed with Musashi's strength, Meng Huo begins to sound a bit jealous.

Wei Storyline - Side Story Stage 2 (As An Enemy): Zhu Rong and Meng Huo will try to ambush you here in this stage. This one of the few battles where Zhu Rong fights on her own 'property'.
Has Special Quotes With:
None (I haven't really seen any special quotes with this character so far.)
