I don't want all your effort to go to waste, Humble Novice. But if you can, please carry on and when finished copy and paste all of them in order in as many posts as you need in a new topic. So I can sticky it. Then I'll close and move this one to the Archives. And I'll make sure knowone posts inbetween by deleting the posts. So just say if your able to and when they're done by PM. |

I hope nobody minds if I have a go at doing another character
Zuo Ci Original Affiliation: Other New Affiliation: Other Current Situation: Wandering About Unlocked By: Completing all 4 main story threads Type: Speed Weapons: Cards Move List: First Charge Attack (C1) - Zuo Ci releases a ball of blue energy that explodes after a while. Has an Ice effect. Second Charge Attack (C2) - An uppercut move with decent range in fron of Zuo Ci. Third Charge Attack (C3) - Zuo Ci shoots out various cards and spins them about in a ring shape a bit damaging and stunning anyone they touch, his back is left wide open however. By pressing the Charge button more the attack takes longer but damages more. Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Zuo Ci's cards go in a circle around him and each one shoots out a beam of light . These beams either stun or knock away the opponent. Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - Zuo Ci fires a large energy ball ahead of him knocking any enemies it hits skyward. Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - Zuo Ci Steps forwards and creates a small explosion in front of him that knocks enemies straight into the air, pressing charge a second time will have Zuo Ci take another step and create another explosion. Both of these attacks also have a fire effect. Running Attack - Zuo Ci fires one dark blast that flies out with decent forward range. Air Charge - Zuo Ci fires three blue beams that go out at various angles. Musou - Zuo Ci walks forwards with the various cards spinning round juggling all nearby enemies, at the end of the move a lightning blast blows anway any enemies near him. True Musou - Same as normal Musou but five lightning balls and five fireballs are shot out before the ending lightning blast. New Moves: R1 - Zuo Ci fires a bunch of Dark orbs in front of him, these knock enemies over and lowers thier defense. R1+Analog - Zuo Ci does a charge up and gains a super speed effect that lasts for 30 seconds, it doesnt pass on to other characters however. The speed also effects charge moves and musou moves. Pressing attack right after this move will have Zuo Ci do a small but unblockable palm strike. Battle Opinion: Zuo Ci has improved quite a bit in this game, the most obvious improvement is the fact that hes become even more speedier than he was in DW5. This is made even more apparent with both his ability to double jump and do the usual speed type stuff but also his ability to use his R1 speed boost to chain together some combos. His musou is also extremely damaging, which doubled with his R1 speed boost almost doubles the damage done. However he is easily knocked-back and his defense is a little poor compared to some of the other characters. His C1, C2 and C5 are not too helpful either. Its probably going to be helpful to note as well that his beam attacks cannot smash boxes and pots, a small thing but worth mentioning. Storyline Opinion: Zuo Ci doesnt do much story-line wise or even game-wise. He appears at the start of the Shu story to free Zhao Yun, appears later in the level to distract Cao Ren and finally appears in Shus 8X mission to help out. Sorry if its not too good Im not very great at writing things like this

Actually, I'd say that was pretty well written. One thing I noticed though, was this:
I believe you press the Square button right after doing his R1+Analog to do this move ... |

Ling Tong Original Affiliation: Wu New Affiliation: SW Current Situation: With Nobunaga Unlocked By: Completing SW stage 5 Type: Speed Weapons: Nunchuck/Nunchaku Move List: First Charge Attack (C1) - Ling Tong zips forwards and then performs a quick double kick Second Charge Attack (C2) - A fast zippity uppcut Third Charge Attack (C3) - Ling Tong performs many small short-range kicks, just like most DW C2 moves with more the charge button is pressed the longer the attack. The kicks either stun or cause the enemy to fall over Fourth Charge Attack (C4) - Lings Tongs most abusable move is back, here Ling Tong does one kick to the ground creating a large 360 dust-cloud round him that damages all opponents who get caught up in it. Fifth Charge Attack (C5) - he shoots out a large blue-ish ball of energy in front of him that knocks all enemy skywards. Sixth Charge Attack (C6) - After a brief pause Ling tong creates a large 360 fire round him that blasts peons and officers away. Running Attack - A quick smack with his nunchucks Air Charge - Ling Tong shoots out a small blue projectile. New Moves: R1 - Ling Tong kicks in front of him a lot while staying still. R1+Analog - Ling Tong moves forwards doing a spinning kick all the way Battle Opinion: If Ling Tong was abusable in DW5, hes even more abusable here now too. his speed abilty makes for fast escapes and his C4 still has its abusbale nature that it was known for. His addition of the R1 special can decimate officers when fighting one on one and his R1+Analog can help through crowds quickly. Storyline Opinion: Ling Tong, despite being a story character, doesnt have much to do. he does however tell off the three main generals in the ending alongside Qiao Xiao. |

Wow. My favorite tank is way overdue for a pimping in this thread.
The following is condensed from my character FAQ, which includes detailed information on recommended setups and advanced combos.Cao Ren Original Affiliation: Wei New Affiliation: Sengoku Current Situation: Orochi's shield Unlocked By: In Sengoku 5-X, rescue the Takeda-Uesugi army within 2 minutes and escort at least one horseman to the escape point. Defeat Cao Ren immediately after Cao Pi orders him to charge you. Type: Technique Weapons: Buckler blade Move List First charge attack (C1) - Stomp. Second charge attack (C2) - Uppercut with the buckler blade. This is the only non-elemental charge in Cao Ren's move list. Third charge attack (C3) - The classic Mega Buster. Cao Ren fires shockwaves out of his shield. This attack pierces through enemies and stuns. The final blast activates attack-boosting weapon elements. Fourth charge attack (C4) - Cao Ren threatens to hug the enemies and they all fall down. Fifth charge attack (C5) - Ground pound launcher. Sixth charge attack (C6) - Cao Ren charges with his buckler held out in front. New Moves C2-ex - Cao Ren dashes and grabs at an enemy. If he connects, he blows them away with a huge 360-degree shockwave. Both the grab and shockwave activate attack-boosting weapon elements. R1 counter - Cao Ren dashes forward, knocking enemies away with a wide range slash. Battle Opinion: A commonly underrated character, Cao Ren is workable from the get go and quite powerful when built up and mastered. His fighting style is all about area of effect smashing, and it requires situational use of most of his move set. C4 > C1 is his staple combo. With Agility or R1 enhancement, he can continue the stomp chain o' pain and bounce a foe to death. C6 > C1 is good against groups or officers within deep crowds. C3's damage is nerfed from its DW5 awesomeness, but it's still great for setup. Use it to herd annoying crowds and stun quick and long-reaching enemies that can be a pain to force guard against, like Kotaro Fuma. C2-ex makes quick work of crowds. Cao Ren's awesome counterattack gets him out of trouble, scatters enemies, and sets up officers for stomp bouncing. His cheap musou consumption is a major advantage. Storyline Opinion: Cao Ren is a prominent minion of Orochi, showing up as an enemy in many battles. Through various character-specific dialog, we see that Cao Ren serves Orochi for the same reason he serves Cao Cao in the DW storyline. He wants to put an end to the chaos, and he thinks Orochi has the best chance of accomplishing this. I would have liked to see him show more doubt in other battles before Sengoku 5-X. It would be interesting to watch Ren approach the realization that Orochi just isn't worth his time. |

I'm going to get the obvious stuff out of the way first, since no doubt you've already considered them: - Story Mode - 1P only (having 2nd player has caused some people issues I believe) - None of the 8 Engineers made it into the garrison Ok, now for Yoshimoto's appearance and speech I can remember the following: Reduce Yoshimoto Imagawa's life bar to half and then he'll say: "Ah, so I see you can handle the basics just fine, followed by "But let's see how you fare against some of my advanced tactics." It's at that point that you can defeat him to end the stage and unlock him. Besides that, I saw something about not engaging Shingen, Kenshin and Kanetsugu while they are in the fort and to let them more or less come to you. Hope that helps

Yay! Xbox fixed and WO is back for me
Id say ill celebrate with another small guide. I know some people are currently playing thier way through WO2 but it'll be nice to get as much cabable info... probably
Note: Can somebody provide some battle info? I can play as characters but when it comes to making plans for other people... I lose it.Hanzo Hattori Original Affiliation: SW New Affiliation: Wu Current Situation: Protecting Ieyasu/Sun Ce Unlocked By: Unlocked at Start Type: Technique Weapons: Chain-Kama Move List First charge attack (C1) - After a small pause Hanzo creates an explosion in front of him. Pressing Charge gain increases the distance of the explosion. Second charge attack (C2) - Hanzo kicks twice, jumps after the knocked upwards opponent and attacks again. Third charge attack (C3) - Hanzo jumps upwards from a small green explosion. Pressing Charge again will have Hanzo swing his Kama in front of him as he walks forwards slightly. Fourth charge attack (C4) - Hanzo swings his Kama round his head, the move ends with a large slash in front of him New Moves C3-ex - Hanzo does a damaging dive at the opponent. After this move however Hanzo gains a multi effect that lasts for a while (non-transferable) R1 counter - Throws some shurikens down at the oppnent Battle Opinion: Storyline Opinion: Hanzo managed to take in quite a large amount of the Wu storyline. This ranges from his many quote strings with other characters and his relationship with Iesyu, Zhou Tai and Sun Quan. (He even gets a small-ish cutscene with Zhou Tai!) |
