Forgive me if I made any mistakes here.... Note: I've placed an asterisk next to the names of the stages that I couldn't completely understand. If anyone knows the right names of those stages, please correct me immediately.... Shu Story Mode Story Chapters: Chapter 1 - Battle of Ueda Castle: Escape from under the very noses of the enemy! Think carefully, and plan your flight! Coalition Army & Zuo Ci Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 1 Chapter 2 - Battle of Hasedo: Work with your allies to rescue Yue Ying. Escort her safely from the battlefield! Coalition Army & Yue Ying Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 1 Chapter 3 - Battle of Cheng Du: Assist the army inside the castle. Defeat the enemy mastermind and end the confusion! Coalition Army & Wei Yan Army VS Yuan Shao Army Difficulty Level - 2 Chapter 4 - Battle of Nan Zhong: Race across the battlefield to keep your allies safe! Together, the battle can be won! Coalition Army & Meng Huo Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 2 Chapter 5 - Battle of the Wu Territory: Work with your allies to rescue Liu Bei. Avoid enemy traps on your way to Xin Di Castle! Coalition Army & Liu Bei Troop VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 3 Chapter 6 - Battle of Hu Lao Gate: Sun Ce is isolated, and needs help. Together, the forces of evil can be overcome! Coalition Army VS Brigand Troop Difficulty Level - 3 Chapter 5-X - Battle of Jie Ting: Act as a decoy, and lure the enemy into a trap that will break their spirits! Coalition Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 3 Chapter 6-X - Battle of Tetorigawa: Work with the swordsman troop to open the floodgates. Wash the enemy down the river! Coalition Army & Swordsman Troop VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 4 Chapter 7-X - Battle of Xi Liang: Hold back the enemy at the bridge, and allow the peasants to escape! Coalition Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 5 Chapter 8-X - Battle of Mikatagahara: Cut off their supply lines, and overrun a stranded enemy! Coalition Army VS Orochi Army Difficulty Level - 5 Wei Story Mode Story Chapters: Chapter 1 - Battle of Kuzegawa: Advance on three fronts. Cooperate with your allies and seize the enemy main camp! Orochi Army & Da Ji Army VS Resistance Army Difficulty Level - 1 Chapter 2 - Battle of Tian Shui: Defend the three garrisons until reinforcements arrive, then turn the battle on its head! To get Tadakatsu, you must impress him in each of the four Gaiden stages he shows up in. (In Shu's Gaiden, for instance, you have to prevent the enemy from defeating any of the messengers; in Wu's Gaiden, you have to defeat Tadakatsu twice and then defeat all of Dong Zhuo's generals without losing an allied unit; I forget about Wei and Sengoku). To get Da Qiao, you must reach her in the Wu Gaiden level in which she leads the Yellow Army before Dong Zhuo does. An easy way to do this is simply to use Sun Ce, charge the yellow fortress, defeat the enemy generals there (a bunch of generics plus Zhang He), then enter the fortress. The gates will open for you automatically. Just talk to Da Qiao with Sun Ce. When she starts talking to Sun Ce and is reunited with him, you'll have unlocked her and you just need to finish the stage (defeat Sima Yi and Dong Zhuo).

Most of the side story stages can be unlocked by simply finishing the main story stages. However, to unlock the last side story stages for each kingdom, you have to complete certain requirements in their seventh main story stages. By the way everyone, I made a list on which characters initially appear on all stages. I might try to make a much more detailed guide here soon.... Shu Story Story Stages: Story Stage 1 - Battle of Ueda Castle: After Zhao Yun is freed by Zuo Ci and the others, they immediately escape from Ueda Castle. Shimazu Yoshihiro and Tachibana Ginchiyo cease their rivalry for the greater good by working together. Main Characters: Zhao Yun, Xing Cai and Shimazu Yoshihiro Allies: Zuo Ci and Tachibana Ginchiyo (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Cao Ren (Leader) and Zhang He (Ambush)** * - Tachibana Ginchiyo will appear after you manage to go outside and head west. ** - Zhang He will ambush you in order to prevent anyone from reaching the escape point. Story Stage 2 - Battle of Hasedo: After escaping from Ueda Castle, Zhao Yun and his allies manage to locate Yue Ying who is being held captive at Hasedo. With the help of Saika Magoichi they manage to rescue her while evading Da Ji's Forces. Main Characters: Zhao Yun (Leader) Allies: Yue Ying (Leader) and Saika Magoichi (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Zhuge Liang (Ambush)* and Ishida Mitsunari (Ambush)**** * - Saika Magoichi will immediately appear nearby. - Da Ji will appear as the enemy commander after you free Yue Ying. * - Zhuge Liang will try to block your path when Yue Ying is almost near the northern area of the map. Defeating him will open the path to the escape point. **** - Ishida Mitsunari will ambush you along with several enemy officers after Da Ji finishes talking. You must defeat him and the other generals in order for you and Yue Ying to go through. Story Stage 3 - Battle of Cheng Du: Zhao Yun and his allies arrive just in time to help Wei Yan prevent Yuan Shao from taking over Cheng Du as well as repelling Da Ji's troops afterwards. Things start to become more hopeful for Zhao Yun and the Shu army as Sanada Yukimura joins them. Main Characters: Zhao Yun, Yue Ying, Saika Magoichi and Sanada Yukimura* Allies: Wei Yan (Leader) Enemies: Yuan Shao's Forces: Yuan Shao (Leader), Sanada Yukimura* Orochi's Forces: Da Ji (Leader)** * - Sanada Yukimura will immediately become part of your army after you defeat him. ** - Da Ji will arrive with her troops after you defeat Yuan Shao. Story Stage 4 - Battle of Nan Zhong: Meng Huo and Zhu Rong are overwhelmed by Orochi's army but are saved by the Shu Forces in the nick of time. After the battle, both the Shu army (combined with various Sengoku factions) and the Nanman army merge together into a stronger group Main Characters: Zhao Yun and Saika Magoichi Allies: Meng Huo (Leader) and Zhu Rong Enemies: Sima Yi (Leader), Zhang Liao and Xu Huang Story Stage 5 - Battle of The Wu Territory: When Zhao Yun hears that Liu Bei was in the Wu Territory, he makes his way there along with the troops in order to find out him.... However, it turns out to be a trap set by Orochi and his men. Main Characters: Zhao Yun and Sanada Yukimura Allies: Yuan Shao* Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader), Sun Quan (Leader), Zhuge Liang (Reinforcement)* and Zhou Tai (Reinforcement)**** * - When you reach Liu Bei's 'location', Yuan Shao appears instead and will thank you for saving him. - Sun Quan will appear with Zhou Tai after you defeat Zhuge Liang. * - After Dong Zhuo's defeat and Yuan Shao's appearance, Zhuge Liang will come out in battle. **** - Zhou Tai will appear with Sun Quan after you defeat Zhuge Liang. Story Stage 6 - Battle of Hu Lao Gate: While marching to Hu Lao Gate, Zhao Yun comes to the aid of Sun Ce and Zhou Yu as they cooperate together to come up with a fire attack in order to overcome Sima Yi. At this point, the Shu Forces have managed to become a lot more stronger than ever. Main Characters: Zhao Yun (Leader) Allies: Sun Ce (Leader) and Zhou Yu Enemies: Sima Yi (Leader), Cao Ren, Diao Chan and Fuma Kotaro (Ambush)* * - Fuma Kotaro will ambush you in order to thwart Zhou Yu's fire attack. Story Stage 7 - Battle of Edo Castle: In this battle, the Shu army is forced to fight two of their most powerful officers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. After Da Ji loses the fight, she gets double-crosses by Zhuge Liang as he reveals his true intentions to her on why he joined Orochi in the first place. Main Characters: Zhao Yun (Leader) Allies: Sun Ce (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang (Reinforcement)* * - Sun Ce will arrive to help you out. - Da Ji will arrive after you find out that Liu Bei isn't in Edo Castle. * - Zhuge Liang appears with Da Ji and sets up a fire trap against you inside Edo Castle. Final Story Stage - Battle of Koshi Castle: Zhuge Liang becomes the leader of the Anti-Orochi faction and has formed various plans to make Orochi come out. When Orochi finally makes his appearance, he holds Liu Bei hostage.... Main Characters: Zhuge Liang (Leader) and Zhao Yun Enemies: Orochi (Leader), Da Ji, Lu Bu and Maeda Keiji - Orochi will appear in front of you when you finally reach his fortress. Side Story Stages: Side Story Stage 2 - Struggle For Nan Zhong: Both Zhao Yun and Shimazu Yoshihiro manage to find Jiang Wei and helps him out on driving away the enemy forces. Side Story Stage 5 - Battle of Jie Ting: Date Masamune is currently guarding Jie Ting in order to impede the Anti-Orochi army's advances. So Saika Magoichi along with Zhu Rong and Xing Cai set out to defeat him. Main Characters: Saika Magoichi (Leader), Xing Cai and Zhu Rong Enemies: Date Masamune (Leader) and Sun Shang Xiang Side Story Stage 6 - Battle of Tedorigawa: Meng Huo and Zhu Rong run into Miyamoto Musashi as he and his men are struggling to defeat Orochi's Forces in Tedorigawa. With the help of the Nanman couple, he manages to drive out Orochi's army and decides to join up with Shu. Main Characters: Meng Huo (Leader) and Zhu Rong Allies: Miyamoto Musashi (Leader) Enemies: Ishida Mitsunari (Leader), Zhang He, Lu Bu and Ina Side Story Stage 7 - Battle of Xi Liang: After Orochi's vicious attacks on several villages, many of the people begin to evacuate to safety. Once again, Sanada Yukimura has another chance to shine here as he tries to overcome the odds of facing the two antagonists Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo. Main Characters: Sanada Yukimura Allies: Honda Tadakatsu (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader) and Lu Bu (Reinforcement)* * - Honda Tadakatsu will make his arrival after Lu Bu appears in battle - Dong Zhuo will appear after the enemy sets up a rock slide trap. * - Lu Bu will appear if the peasant are almost halfway near the escape point. Defeat him before he attempts to kill the peasants. Final Side Story Stage - Battle of Mikatagahara: Both Guan Yu and Zhang Fei lead an attack on Mikatagahara in order to find out the whereabouts of their sworn brother Liu Bei. It's safe to assume that this side story takes place before the final battle against Orochi. Main Characters: Guan Yu (Leader) and Zhang Fei Allies: Zuo Ci (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Orochi (Leader), Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu * - Zuo Ci will appear once you take several strongholds from the enemy.

Wei Story Story Stages: Story Stage 1 - Battle of Kuzegawa: When Cao Pi aligns Wei with Orochi, he is ordered by Da Ji to get rid of the rebels in Kuzegawa. Along the way, he meets Ishida Mitsunari, an intelligent strategist whose ego matches with his own. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) and Xu Huang Allies: Da Ji (Leader) and Ishida Mitsunari Enemies: Huang Gai (Leader), Xu Zhu, Zhang Jiao and Xiahou Yuan (Ambush)* * - Xiahou Yuan will appear once you arrive near the enemy's main camp through the south road. Story Stage 2 - Battle of Tian Shui: After defeating the Resistance Forces led by Huang Gai at Kuzegawa, Cao Pi heads straight to battle again in order to face Nobunaga and his troops. Also, he spares Huang Gai's life and gains Mitsunari as an ally afterwards. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) Allies: Da Ji (Leader), Zhuge Liang (Reinforcement)* and Ishida Mitsunari Enemies: Oda Nobunaga (Leader)*, Akechi Mitsuhide, Guan Ping (Reinforcement) and Huang Gai (Reinforcement) * - Zhuge Liang will arrive to help you out after Oda Nobunaga makes his appearance. - Huang Gai will appear after Akechi Mitsuhide is defeated. * - Oda Nobunaga will arrive with Guan Ping after Huang Gai is defeated. **** - Guan Ping will accompany Oda Nobunaga will arrive with Guan Ping after Huang Gai is defeated. Story Stage 3 - Battle of Xia Kou: Cao Pi must help Sun Quan prevent his elder brother Sun Ce from leaving Xia Kou. After Sun Ce is defeated, he and Zhou Yu escape anyway thanks to Cao Pi which makes Da Ji suspicious of his intentions. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) and Ishida Mitsunari Allies: Da Ji (Leader)* and Sun Quan Enemies: Sun Ce (Leader), Zhou Yu (Reinforcement) and Mori Ranmaru (Ambush)* * - Da Ji will arrive after you manage to reach Sun Ce. - Zhou Yu will appear in a few moments after Sun Ce finally reaches the docks. * - Ranmaru will appear in order to prevent you from interfering with Sun Ce's escape. Story Stage 4 - Battle of Yi Ling: In Yi Ling, the Wei army must deal with the rebels led by Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan and Pang Tong. With the help of Sun Shang Xiang and Ina, Cao Pi manages to subdue the three rogue officers and gain their trust after explaining his true motives to them. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader), Ishida Mitsunari and Xu Zhu Allies: Sun Shang Xiang (Leader) and Ina Enemies: Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan and Pang Tong Story Stage 5 - Battle of Odawara Castle: When Da Ji realizes that Cao Pi was only using her to find his father, she immediately launches a pre-emptive strike against him by setting Odawara Castle on fire. However, her tricks and illusions fail to stop Cao Pi and the others as she ends up getting captured by the Wei army. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) and Ishida Mitsunari Allies: Huang Gai Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Sun Jian and Cao Cao Story Stage 6 - Battle of Chen Cang: Cao Pi sends his troops to fight Azai Nagamasa's army in order to take back Chen Cang Castle since it originally belonged to Wei. He manages to gain Nagamasa's trust after winning the battle, causing both of their forces begin to work together. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader), Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan and Ishida Mitsunari Allies: Da Ji (Leader) Enemies: Azai Nagamasa (Leader), Oichi and Gan Ning Story Stage 7 - Battle of Yamazaki: Upon hearing that Cao Cao might be in Yamazaki, the Wei army prepares to clash against Orochi's men led by Dong Zhuo. When Cao Pi's troops are cornered thanks to Da Ji, Cao Cao unexpectedly arrives with Dian Wei to save the day. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) and Ishida Mitsunari Allies: Da Ji's Forces: Da Ji* Cao Cao's Forces: Cao Cao (Leader) and Dian Wei (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader), Zhuge Liang, Sima Yi and Da Ji* * - Da Ji will betray you after Sima Yi calls out an ambush against you. - Cao Cao will appear with Dian Wei in a few moments after Dong Zhuo calls out another ambush unit. * - Dian Wei will arrive with Cao Cao in this battle after Dong Zhuo calls out more units to ambush you. Final Story Stage - Battle of Koshi Castle: This is the final battle between Wei and Orochi. Cao Cao is determined to prove to Orochi that his unearthly powers are no match for his endless ambitions.... Main Characters: Cao Cao (Leader), Cao Pi and Ishida Mitsunari Enemies: Orochi (Leader), Da Ji, Lu Bu, Maeda Keiji and Date Masamune Side Story Stages: Side Story Stage 2 - Invasion of Nan Zhong: When Cao Pi and his men arrive in Nan Zhong, they must defend their main camp against the rebels who are with the help of the Nanman army. After Zhang He is rescued, the 'beautiful' warrior shows his gratitude by fending off the raids caused by the Resistance Forces. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) Allies: Zhang He Enemies: Zhao Yun (Leader), Meng Huo (Ambush), Zhu Rong (Ambush)* and Sanada Yukimura * - Meng Huo will appear in the east if you attempt to reach Zhang He. ** - Zhu Rong will appear in the west if you attempt to reach Zhang He. Side Story Stage 3 - Assault On Ji Province: After Orochi's initial assault intensified the chaos on the land, Nene formed a ninja army to resist those who are supporting him. Although the motherly ninja loses the battle, she decides to take a risk by joining Wei. Main Characters: Dong Zhuo (Leader) and Zhang Liao Allies: Ishikawa Goemon Enemies: Nene (Leader), Hattori Hanzo (Ambush), Kunoichi (Reinforcement)* and Fuma Kotaro (Ambush)*** * - Hattori Hanzo will appear with Fuma Kotaro in order to prevent you from going inside Nene's base. - Kunoichi will arrive to personally take you down after you defeat one of Nene's clones. * - Fuma Kotaro will appear with Hattori Hanzo in order to prevent you from going inside Nene's base. Side Story Stage 4 - Battle of Saika: The Wei troops manage to corner some of the rebels in Saika village, but they end up getting ambushed themselves by the Takeda-Uesugi alliance on both sides. However, thanks to the efforts of Zhang Liao and the others, they were able to drive away the Resistance Forces, convincing the strange Imagawa Yoshimoto to join Wei in the process. Main Characters: Zhang Liao (Leader), Xu Huang and Xu Zhu Enemies: Takeda Shingen (Leader), Uesugi Kenshin (Leader), Imagawa Yoshimoto (Leader) and Naoe Kanetsugu (Ambush)** * - Takeda Shingen will appear in the west stronghold after the rebels in the village are defeated. - Uesugi Kenshin will appear in the east stronghold after Takeda Shingen makes his appearance. * - Imagawa Yoshimoto will arrive to defeat you after you manage to defeat all of the other enemy officers as well as the enemy peasants. **** - Naoe Kanetsugu will arrive with Uesugi Kenshin in battle at the same time. Side Story Stage 5 - Struggle At The Five Gates: Diao Chan is surrounded by Dong Zhuo's men for trying to escape, but Ishida Mitsunari comes to her rescue. After protecting Diao Chan from Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu, she decides to repay Mitsunari's kindness by supporting Wei. Main Characters: Ishida Mitsunari (Leader) and Zhang Liao Allies: Diao Chan Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader) and Lu Bu (Leader)* * - Lu Bu will arrive to fetch Diao Chan once Dong Zhuo and his men retreat. Defeating him will end the stage. Side Story Stage 6 - Battle of Liang Province: Both Cao Pi and Zhen Ji lead seperate attacks against Dong Zhuo and the magicians under his employ. After overcoming many obstacles, Zhen Ji is finally reunited with her husband and rejoins him at his side. Main Characters: Cao Pi (Leader) and Xiahou Yuan Allies: Zhen Ji (Leader) Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader) and Fuma Kotaro (Reinforcement)* * - Fuma Kotaro automatically appears near Dong Zhuo once the stage starts. Side Story Stage 7 - Conquest of Nan Zhong: When Orochi's army marches on to take over Nan Zhong, Azai Nagamasa arrives with his troops to defend it. With Honda Tadakatsu on their side, the Allied Forces gained the upper hand as they were able to secure the land. Main Characters: Azai Nagamasa (Leader), Oichi and Gan Ning Allies: Honda Tadakatsu (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader), Lu Bu (Reinforcement)** and Date Masamune * - Honda Tadakatsu will appear once you successfully save his officers from getting killed. ** - Lu Bu will appear moments after Honda Tadakatsu's arrival. Final Side Story Stage - Battle of He Fei Castle: Cao Cao initiates a battle against Orochi personally in order to take back He Fei Castle. Also, Sun Ce repays his debt to Cao Pi by aiding Cao Cao in getting rid of Orochi and his demon army. Wu Story Story Stages:** Story Stage 1 - Battle of Mt. Ding Jun: After many of Wu's officers have been taken hostage by Orochi's Forces, Sun Ce and Sun Quan along with Tokugawa Ieyasu are forced to fight the rebels in order to save their family and friends. When the Resistance Forces lose the battle at Mt. Ding Jun, Sun Ce is able to persuade Ranmaru to join them. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Sun Quan and Tokugawa Ieyasu Allies: Xu Huang* Enemies: Ma Chao (Leader), Mori Ranmaru (Leader), Yue Ying and Jiang Wei * - Xu Huang will arrive to help you once you're halfway near the enemy's main camp. Story Stage 2 - Battle of Chang Ban: Da Ji commands Sun Ce to capture the remaining Wu generals who have refused to submit to Orochi. After dealing with his former allies, he is given some respite when Taishi Ci is freed from captivity. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Zhou Yu and Mori Ranmaru Allies: Da Ji (Leader) Enemies: Lu Xun (Leader), Gan Ning, Ling Tong (Ambush)* and Shima Sakon (Reinforcement)** * - Ling Tong will arrive in order to ambush your allies. ** - Shima Sakon will automatically arrive to support Lu Xun once the stage starts. Story Stage 3 - Battle of Odani Castle: When Sun Ce realizes that Shima Sakon might know more about his father's whereabouts, he leads his army to search for him in Odani Castle which is being guarded by Xing Cai and the Resistance Forces. With Sakon's help, Wu was able to take over the castle with ease. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Zhou Yu and Mori Ranmaru Allies: Shima Sakon (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Xing Cai (Leader), Shimazu Yoshihiro, Gan Ning and Ling Tong * - Shima Sakon will arrive in this stage to help you break through the castle walls. Story Stage 4 - Battle of Osaka Castle: After Shima Sakon reveals that Sun Jian is being held at Osaka Castle, Sun Ce leads a search party to save him. However, they get caught by Orochi's men and Sun Jian orders his son to escape without him. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Shima Sakon and Mori Ranmaru Allies: Sun Jian (Leader) Enemies: Cao Ren (Leader)* and Pang De (Ambush)** * - Cao Ren will automatically appear after Sun Jian has been rescued. ** - Pang De will appear when you arrive in the east road outside Osaka Castle. Story Stage 5 - Battle of Sekigahara: After failing to rescue Sun Jian, Sun Ce incurs the wrath of his siblings Sun Quan and Sun Shang Xiang as they ambush him in Sekigahara. Although Sun Ce is reluctant to fight his own family here, he defeats them and manages to regain Sun Shang Xiang's trust thanks to Ina. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Zhou Yu and Taishi Ci Enemies: Sun Quan (Leader), Sun Shang Xiang (Reinforcement), Zhou Tai (Reinforcement), Da Qiao (Reinforcement)** and Ina * - Sun Quan will finally appear after Sun Shang Xiang has been defeated. - Sun Shang Xiang will arrive after Ina has been defeated twice. * - Zhou Tai will arrive along with Sun Quan. ** - Da Qiao will appear after Sun Shang Xiang gives her the signal to come out. Story Stage 6 - Battle of He Fei: Sun Quan teams up with Maeda Keiji and Cao Ren to defeat Sun Ce, but they were outsmarted by Lu Meng's strategies. After the battle, Zhou Tai is prepared to face the consequences for helping Sun Quan escape, but is given a chance by Sun Ce to redeem himself. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Lu Meng and Hattori Hanzo Enemies: Sun Quan (Leader), Zhou Tai, Cao Ren, Zhen Ji and Maeda Keiji Story Stage 7 - Battle of Komaki-Nagakute: After Sun Quan finally locates Sun Jian, both of them struggle to survive against Da Ji's army. In the end, Sun Ce and his sister were able to save their father and brother from harm. Wu is about to show Orochi and his troops on how powerful and unbreakable their bonds can be.... Main Characters: Sun Jian (Leader), Sun Ce, Sun Quan and Sun Shang Xiang Enemies: Orochi (Leader) Da Ji, Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo Side Story Stages:** Side Story Stage 2 - Battle of Mt. Chang: A rebel faction led by Akechi Mitsuhide attacks Sun Ce's army at Mt. Chang. After being unable to penetrate through Wu's defense, the enigmatic Fuma Kotaro joins them. Side Story Stage 3 - Battle of Jian Ye Castle: While Shima Sakon discloses information regarding Sun Jian's location, he also reveals that Lady Noh, the wife of Oda Nobunaga, is being held captive in Jian Ye Castle. While Sun Ce is out to rescue his father, he sends Lu Meng and Taishi Ci to save her as well. Main Characters: Lu Meng and Taishi Ci Allies: Noh (Leader) Enemies: Date Masamune (Leader), Zhen Ji (Reinforcement)* and Dong Zhuo (Reinforcement)*** * - Date Masamune will appear after both Dong Zhuo and Zhen Ji make their appearances. - Zhen Ji will arrive in battle after Dong Zhuo makes his appearance. * - Dong Zhuo will appear after you've defeated most of the other enemy officers. Side Story Stage 4 - Battle of Wan Castle: When Wan Castle is set up in flames by Orochi's Forces, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hanzo Hattori are determined to evacuate the peasants to safety. In the end, they were able to save the people with Kunoichi's assistance. Main Characters: Tokugawa Ieyasu (Leader) and Hattori Hanzo Allies: Kunoichi (Leader)* and Imagawa Yoshimoto (Reinforcement) Enemies: Zhen Ji (Leader)* and Pang De (Reinforcement)**** * - Kunoichi will appear after you successfully escort each of the civilians to safety. - Imagawa Yoshimoto will be the last civilian needed to be brought to safety. * - Once all of the civilians have left the castle, Zhen Ji will finally arrive to stop you. **** - Pang De will arrive immediately after Imagawa Yoshimoto makes his appearance. Side Story Stage 5 - Battle of Anegawa: After Da Qiao's true loyalty to Wu has been revealed, she immediately betrays Orochi by escaping to Anegawa with a small army at her side. Dong Zhuo and Sima Yi attempt to capture her, but their plans are foiled when Sun Ce arrives to rescue his beloved wife. Main Characters: Sun Ce (Leader), Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo Allies: Da Qiao (Leader) Enemies: Dong Zhuo, Sima Yi and Zhang He (Ambush)* * - Zhang He will ambush you near Da Qiao's base after Sima Yi gives him the order to do so. Side Story Stage 6 - Battle of Osaka Bay: Lu Meng leads an attack against Maeda Keiji on Osaka Bay, but what the Wu general really wants is to recruit him. His strategy impresses Maeda Keiji so much that he has decided to leave Orochi's Forces for good. Side Story Stage 7 - Battle of Ji Province: Honda Tadakatsu clashes with the Wu army because he assumes that they're still working under Orochi, so Lu Meng and the others decide to set him straight. Sengoku Story Story Stages: Story Stage 1 - Battle of Jing Province: While riding in the battlefield, Oda Nobunaga meets with Guan Ping who is struggling to fight against Orochi's Forces. When Nobunaga manages to defeat the enemy, he gladly welcomes the remnants of Shu into his army. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) and Toyotomi Hideyoshi Allies: Huang Zhong and Guan Ping Enemies: Cao Pi (Leader), Ishida Mitsunari and Cao Ren - Cao Pi will appear after most of the enemy officers have been defeated. Story Stage 2 - Battle of Honnoji: Upon hearing a rumor from Huang Zhong that Cao Cao might be in Honnoji, Nobunaga sends his troops to find him. Unfortunately, it turns out to be a trap set by Da Ji who disguised herself as Cao Cao in order to lure them here. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) and Huang Zhong Allies: Cao Cao's Forces: Cao Cao (Leader)* Xiahou Dun's Forces: Xiahou Dun (Leader) and Takeda Shingen (Leader)* Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Zhou Yu (Ambush)* and Sun Shang Xiang (Ambush)*** * - Da Ji will reveal herself once Nobunaga goes near 'Cao Cao'. - Xiahou Dun will arrive in search of Cao Cao after you get ambushed by Zhou Yu and Sun Shang Xiang. * - Takeda Shingen will make his appearance after Xiahou Dun's arrival. ** - Zhou Yu will ambush you with a fire attack after Da Ji appears. *** - Sun Shang Xiang will ambush you in a few moments after Zhou Yu has initiated his fire attack. Story Stage 3 - Battle of Kyushu: In Kyushu, Nobunaga's army clashes with the Yellow Turbans led by Zhang Jiao. After having all four of their strongholds taken away, Zhang Jiao and his followers submit to Nobunaga in order to fight for the greater good. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) and Toyotomi Hideyoshi Allies: Naoe Kanetsugu (Leader)* Enemies: Zhang Jiao (Leader), Xiao Qiao (Leader), Okuni (Leader) and Shima Sakon (Leader) * - After two of the four enemy leaders have been defeated, Naoe Kanetsugu will arrive to support you. Story Stage 4 - Battle of Tong Gate: During this battle, Nobunaga and his men must bring Shima Sakon to the escape point safely so that he can provide Sun Ce with information regarding his father's location. It seems that Nobunaga's storyline intertwines a lot more with Wu's plot since Sakon knows more about Sun Jian's whereabouts. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) Allies: Shima Sakon (Leader) Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader), Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhang Liao and Fuma Kotaro (Ambush)* * - If Dong Zhuo is still in battle, Fuma Kotaro will ambush Shima Sakon near the escape point. It's better to defeat Dong Zhuo and the other officers first so you won't have to face Kotaro. Story Stage 5 - Battle of Guan Du: After parting ways with Shima Sakon, Nobunaga focuses on taking Guan Du away from Orochi's Forces. Despite not getting aid from the Takeda-Uesugi alliance, his army manages to overcome the enemy's sorcery thanks to Zhang Jiao. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader), Zhang Jiao and Akechi Mitsuhide Allies: Ling Tong (Leader)* Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Da Qiao and Diao Chan * - Ling Tong will appear in the east to help you out. Story Stage 6 - Battle of Fan Castle: Cao Pi and his officers flood Fan Castle at the start of the battle, giving them an advantage over Nobunaga's troops. However, Nobunaga was able to snatch victory by reversing the flood outside the castle. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader), Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Ling Tong Enemies: Cao Pi (Leader), Xiahou Dun (Leader), Zhang He and Sun Quan - Xiahou Dun will appear after the flood at Fan Castle has been drained. Story Stage 7 - Battle of Wu Zhang Plains: Nobunaga faces Da Ji once again as the battle at Wu Zhang Plains proves to be a difficult one. In the end, the Allied Forces came out victorious because the Takeda-Uesugi alliance finally accepted Nobunaga's request for help. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) Allies: Takeda Shingen (Leader), Uesugi Kenshin (Leader), and Naoe Kanetsugu (Reinforcement)** Enemies: Da Ji (Leader), Date Masamune and Maeda Keiji * - After Uesugi Kenshin arrives in battle, Takeda Shingen will appear afterwards. - Uesugi Kenshin will appear shortly in a few minutes once the battle starts. * - Naoe Kanetsugu will arrive with Uesugi Kenshin in battle. Final Story Stage - Battle of Koshi Castle: After joining forces with Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin, Oda Nobunaga is finally ready to annihilate Orochi's Forces. The final battle in Orochi's lair will decide who is the superior demon lord in the land.... Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader), Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin Allies: Zhou Yu (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Orochi (Leader), Da Ji and Lu Bu * - Zhou Yu will arrive in the south to support you. Side Story Stages: Side Story Stage 2 - Battle of Kawanakajima: After getting separated from the rest of the Shu army, Ma Chao valiantly tries his best to protect the peasants from Orochi's army. Nobunaga arrives just in time to help him evacuate the people to safety. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader), Huang Zhong and Akechi Mitsuhide Allies: Ma Chao (Leader) Enemies: Sima Yi (Leader), Dong Zhuo (Ambush)* and Tokugawa Ieyasu (Ambush)** * - After the peasant leave their fortress, Dong Zhuo will appear in the south road. ** - After the peasant leave their fortress, Tokugawa Ieyasu will appear in the north road. Side Story Stage 3 - Battle of Xia Pi: When Nobunaga finds out that Lu Xun is being held at Xia Pi Castle, he fights against Wei to save him. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader), Akechi Mitsuhide and Toyotomi Hideyoshi Allies: Lu Xun Enemies: Cao Ren (Leader), Zhang Liao and Xu Huang Side Story Stage 4 - Battle of Si Shui Gate: Toyotomi Hideyoshi squares off against the greedy Dong Zhuo in his own territory. After losing the battle, Dong Zhuo has a 'sudden' change of heart and decides to join the Allied Forces. Main Characters: Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Leader), Zhang Jiao and Okuni Enemies: Dong Zhuo (Leader), Lu Bu (Reinforcement)* and Ina * - Lu Bu will appear after you've prevented the money-carrying troops from going to Dong Zhuo. Side Story Stage 5 - Battle of Nagashino: In this battle, Huang Zhong arrives to aid the Takeda-Uesugi alliance against the formidable duo Cao Pi and Sun Quan. This battle seems to be the reason why both Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Kenshin were unable to help Nobunaga at Guan Du. Main Characters: Huang Zhong Allies: Takeda Shingen (Leader), Uesugi Kenshin (Leader) and Naoe Kanetsugu (Reinforcement)* Enemies: Cao Pi (Leader), Sun Quan (Leader), Cao Ren and Zhou Tai * - Naoe Kanetsugu will lead a surprise attack on the enemy camp after you finish escorting the cavalry men to their destination. Side Story Stage 6 - Siege of Odawara Castle: After Cao Pi and Ishida Mitsunari have left Odawara Castle, Nobunaga takes advantage of the situation by invading the castle itself. Although Nobunaga almost fell for the enemy's traps, he wins the battle and gains Sima Yi as his strategist. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) and Huang Zhong Enemies: Zhuge Liang (Leader), Sima Yi (Leader), Sun Shang Xiang (Ambush) and Ina (Ambush)** * - Zhuge Liang will appear with Sima Yi after you've taken over Odawara Castle. - Sima Yi will appear with Zhuge Liang after you've taken over Odawara Castle. * - Sun Shang Xiang and Ina will ambush you after you get trapped inside the center garrison. **** - Ina and Shang Xiang will ambush you after you get trapped inside the center garrison. Side Story Stage 7 - Battle of Kanegasaki: Huang Zhong leads the Anti-Orochi army at Kanegasaki to defeat Date Masamune and his troops. Despite the fact that they had Lu Bu on their side, the enemy troops were overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the Allied Forces along with Honda Tadakatsu. Main Characters: Huang Zhong, Okuni and Xiao Qiao (Reinforcement)* Allies: Honda Tadakatsu (Reinforcement) Enemies: Date Masamune (Leader), Zhang He and Lu Bu (Ambush)* * - Xiao Qiao will appear with reinforcements after the messenger manages to reach his destination. - Honda Tadakatsu will appear after Lu Bu ambushes you. * - Lu Bu will appear once the messenger goes inside the fortress. Be sure to protect the messenger from Lu Bu. Final Side Story Stage - Battle of Bai Di Castle: After getting rescued by Sun Ce's army, Noh leads a handful of soldiers in an attempt to take over Bai Di Castle. Nobunaga also arrives to take the castle away from Orochi and is reunited with his wife afterwards. Main Characters: Oda Nobunaga (Leader) Allies: Noh (Leader) and Cao Cao (Leader)* Enemies: Orochi (Leader), Da Ji (Reinforcement), Lu Bu (Reinforcement)* and Fuma Kotaro (Ambush)*** * - Cao Cao will arrive to help you out after Orochi and Da Ji make their appearance. - Orochi will appear with Da Ji after Lu Bu is defeated. * - Da Ji will appear with Orochi after Lu Bu is defeated. ** - Lu Bu will arrive after you've infiltrated Bai Di Castle. *** - Fuma Kotaro will ambush anyone who passes through the south road that leads to the Stone Sentinel Maze.

	Akechi Mitsuhide(WGXH) Ruler Perks: Arms Expert (Mitsuhide's soldiers take less damage from muskets) Tennozan Charge: Mitsuhide may use this skill to have any Akechi unit quickly gain speed and get to high ground or any advantegeous spot of Mitsuhide's choosing. Musket Blitz: If Mitsuhide has ashigaru teppou or samurai gunmen and some melee troops, he can use this skill to have his gunmen fire into an enemy unit's van while his melee soldiers attack an enemy's flank, thus causing good damage and confusion of the enemy ranks.
