Welcome to "Otherworld" Posts: 650 Group: Members Member #10,454 Joined: October 19, 2007 Gender Male	Can't really remember but I think I was impatiently awaiting the release of DW5 and decided to buy SW and SWXL to quench my blood thirst till the DW5 release. It was okay... but there were a lot of things I disliked about it. I almost didnt buy SW2 but Im so glad I did. BEST KOEI GAME AS OF YET IMO of course XD

Tiger General Posts: 452 Group: Members Member #13,765 Joined: March 4, 2008	I was bore with DW and stop playing it for a long time, but when I saw picture of Sengoku Musou and XL I was like, OMG six gold coin, isn't that Sanada clan symbol and that big antler, could it be....so I try it out and totally in love with it. Then SM2 come out and it even more awesome, never play DW again since then, oh I only play Japanese version to get full feeling of the game, it rocks

Commander of the Hawk's Raiders Posts: 81 Group: Members Member #17,340 Joined: August 8, 2008	in video store lookin at games just skimming across when the "warriors" title struck me, picked it up thinking it was a new DW game i grabbed it that quick saw it was SW and flipped out coz i had been waiting for a awesome samurai game for ages!! then realized it was made by Koei and knew it would be awesome took awhile to find to buy tbh !! then when MGS3 came out i was a lil straped for cash coz i had hurt my back at work so i used SW to get a better deal there O_O only just got SW back off ebay the other day!! still love it! tho 2 has vastly improved the series its still good in its own right!! damn tuff without XL tho hoping that rocks up soon hehe

But when she gave me the SW2, that game is more better than SWXL because of more characters, new and more stages and higher quality graphic. When I bought the SW2XL, that game totally rock's than the other Samurai Warriors series.

I found Samurai warriors XL in a shallow alleys gamestore in a city i hardly visited. It was a specialty store, not a single other store had the game. Ofcourse i emediately bought it. It has been ages since i finally got ahold of Samurai warriors 1 the original game itself, but i didnt mind it back then. I never knew what game it was, didnt even know it was a warriors game before that but i do remember one time seeing a picture of maeda keiji on google sometime when i was looking for DW avatars (this is when i just started playing DW4 i think) so obviously i didnt really knew that was from a warrior game aswell but i did think it looked cool, so officially that was the first encounter with samurai warriors but actually finding out was in the shop.

General Posts: 351 Group: Members Member #20,552 Joined: January 25, 2009 Gender Male	I found out about Samurai Warriors when my cousin found it on the back of a gaming magazine (Game Informer I believe) and he said it looked extremely similar to Dynasty Warriors as it showed Yukimura, Hanzo, and Nobunaga (whom he assumed to be Samurai Versions of Zhao Yun, Zhou Tai, and Cao Cao) Upon buying it, realize it was a completly different game and it was fun for a while and after a few days it was lame.....I hated the whole combat system. But I found out later, it was only because I was so used to the DW combat system and it took me a while to get used to the SW combat system. But it was too late, I had already gotten rid of the game. But upon hearing news of Samurai Warriors 2, I took the risk and bought it and loved it.

I thought he was playing some new DW game, so I went and checked it out. Turned out to be SW. The first thing I saw on the screen was Nobunaga, and I was all, "HOLY SHIZZ WHO IS THIS CAO CAO IMPERSINAETUR I C HIR OMG >:((((" and he was all, "It's Nobunaga Oda from Samurai Warriors 2 :'DDD" ...and I played it and I fell in love. Oh Masamune. Have my children.
