 So, even though it might be a little obvious, who do you people think are the top five toughest characters in both SW and DW? If you want, you can choose 5 from each era, resulting in a total of 10 of the toughest characters in Japanese/Chinese history.

My top 5 for...

Sangoku Era (Dynasty Warriors)
1) Lu Bu (abra-ka-DUUUUH)
2) Guan Yu
3) Zhang Fei
4) Zhang Liao
5) Xiahou Dun

Sengoku Era (Samurai Warriors)
1) Keiji Maeda
2) Tadakatsu Honda
3) Musashi Miyamoto
4) Yukimura Sanada
5) Nobunaga Oda

 Historically:
DW:
1. Zhang Liao. Hei Fei!
2: Zhang He. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhang_He
3: Zhang Fei. Chang Ban. his voice would probably make some of us lose bowel control, in a toned down way of saying it.
4: Lu Bu. He held of the three brothers at Hu Lao. He never accomplished anything else other than killing Dong Zhuo, but the three brothers incident makes him worthy in my opinion.
5:Taishi Ci. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taishi_Ci

I dont really think Guan Yu is worthy of the list. All of his "Outstanding Kills" were from a pre-weakened General. Hua Xiong? he was just finishing beatin the hell out of Jian's forces. Yan Liang? He was fighting Xu Huang and Zhang Liao (And made them retreat!) and then Guan Yu just comes in and ends him. He killed Song Xian and Wei Xu the day before in duels. Wen Chou..meh, i gotta talk about SW now, i think it was something of the same nature though, killing Wen Chou after he was weak.

Ok, SW!

1: Yukimura Sanada. Died in a blaze of glory, coming within sight of Ieyasu's banner at Osaka(Summer).
2: Keiji Maeda. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maeda_Keiji -read what it says about the battle with the Mogami. 8 Riders, damn, Honda couldnt pull that off.
3: Katsuie Shibata- during Anegawa he was besieged by 4000 Rokkaku soldiers, charged out and pushed them back..seems like a mini Zhang Liao to me.
4: Nagamasa Asai- recaptured Futo castle and battle of Norada, he was 16 years old at the time. Such a promising future destroyed by the Oda
5: Ekei Ankokuji- hes a priest or acolyte whatever u wanna call him, but he kicked ass
