Do you know where to get it ?

Wimpous
Well, sorry, wimpous, I think it's because KW Forum moved to Zetaboards, so maybe OST Hidden Link isn't here for the moment, the time to place it on Zeta, may you wait for BS OST or is it hurry ? (If I've time, I can try to upload BS OST & give you a link)

Yeah, Xalfrea, BS Music themes is different to the others games themes too ^_^ As you said epic is the best word to describe that orchestral/medieval music ^^

Heck, when my mom heard the tracks themselves, she commented that they sound like they came out of a church.

Evil English music!

Anyone wonder why the "King of England" and "The Black Prince" soundtracks sound far darker than the "King of France" and "Joan of Arc" soundtracks?

Also compare "Glory to the Black Prince" to "Hope for Joan of Arc".

I would be interested in knowing why Jamie Christopherson made this choice.
One of my guesses is that because the war was pretty much England stomping around France's turf. The darker music implicates them as the raiding conquerers, while the lighter French themes feel more heroic, for they are defending their homeland from the raiding Englanders.

It could also reflect on musical styles that originated from the respective countries. Not sure on this, but it's always possible.

Then of course there's my "lololol eenglund iz bettur n manlier den franse" theory/opinion/bias/what have you.

i think your first opinion for that would be the most correct...i think that because it was the English who were the invaders...and the French were the defenders...the music was most likely done in a way to portray that atmosphere.

I think the musical styles from England and France wouldve been pretty similar at the time...and as for that bias opinion  i guess it can stay as a bias opinion :P

Well look at King of England's track compared to King of France's. King of England has nothing except deep-voiced men singing, while King of France has choirboys and girls. ^^ I don't have anything against that, because I like the King of France track better anyway.

Joan of Arc is understandable though. Black Prince, although he is not a bad guy per se, still sounds quite mournful and evil.

Bladestorm music was rated in a French Magazine named Living Action Game Magazine, BLADESTORM OST got B+ : Rating BS OST Scan (French)

I think their marks correspond to "a little more than average" it correspond to 7.5/10 for BS music.
In shorter, they said the music could have better but that it suits BS game atmosphere anyways.

It's good to see something about Bladestorm in a French magazine ^^
And yes, BS Music is awesome whatever they criticized about it :P

Edit : Pictures updated in best quality & finally I calculated, B+ correspond to 7.5/10 it's a better mark ^^

BS music? Hm, well, it's quite good especially with a composer like Jamie Christopherson taking the lead.

It suits the scenes and battles in the game. :XD
