I'm pretty sure he means how the plot proceeds in the game. And there's no Gaiden 1. |

Huh, so Sengoku's story really "ends" at Gaiden 8? I wonder how that works out... O_o? Also, the paths are all the same except for that one instance so....slip up on TC's part? ?_? |

Gaiden 8 is like an extra story. It actually ends at Stage 8. @SRS: Actually he means the stage order when selecting. You can choose any stages even in Story Mode. |

Even I'm trying to also figure out how a plotline will work, and which stages are considered canon, even if the actual premise behind this game is not. According to the stage guide, Wu's and Sengoku's stories seem to intertwine at a few points, and the Gaiden 8 stages are after the Story 7 stages. It's safe to say however that the Koshi Castle stages are off considering we don't know who wins in the end. |

Ill explain between stage 7, 8, and Gaiden.. (may cause spoiled) Shu End of stage 7, Da Ji was capture by Zhuge Liang while gaiden 7 Yukimura save the peasants with Honda.. Stage 8 Da Ji wasn't there because of stage 7 and Guan Yu and Zhang Fei attack to defend the base from orochi, i think. Final stage da ji was release but all orochi general is killed. Wei Stage 7 doesn't matter (so, does gaiden 7) Stage 8 Gaiden, Cao Cao attack Orochi so that he can get his own Wei capital back. Stage 8 Final battle as usual Wu Stage 7 Recuse of Sun Jian and Quan... Stage 8 Gaiden, While Sun Family get ready to fight, Tokugawa attack Orochi at Chi bi (don't know the name of this stage )Stage 8 Final battle as usual Sengoku Stage 7 nothing matter..... (finally got alliance) Stage 8 final battle as usual but instead, iono... any way I think this is final stage of 8 Gaiden: after orochi's defeat, Nobunaga and Nouhime leaves together after the war. Thats what i think.. <_< |

Actually,i think due to the ending of the SEngoku which is right after stage 8,i believe Shingen, kenshin and Nobunaga would fight each other.its just a guess. |
