My focus? Posts: 2,877 Group: Moderators Member #8,262 Joined: July 2, 2007 PlayStation Network ID StrikeForce9	I am collecting ROTK games . I'm looking for a fun and great story game. Which one should I get. If I have to choose one of the 2 dynasty tactics games, which one would you recommend? Do dynasty tactics (DT) and DT2 have the same story?

The Three kingdoms rulers are still the same story Personally though, i'd go with kessen 2, it's Better, although not as long (IMO)

The truth is not based on your predications. Posts: 2,787 Group: Moderators Member #6,211 Joined: March 21, 2007 Gender Male	DT1 has a much larger variation of paths to choose from in the story. DT2 has 3 set 1s for each character, and then an epilogue. I personally prefer DT1, but its harder and more frustrating. A fun game is more for DT2. It also allows you to play as Lu Bu, which DT1 doesn't. If you want a game for a lot of time, and if you are patient then probaly DT1 though. DT2 does take a long time as well though. A lot of the DT1 things are similar to the DT2 1s, but the storylines themselves are completly different (even if the same out comes happen at times. The voice acting in DT1 is horrible, but you don't hear a lot of there voices in the game. I have never played Kessen, so don't know about it... I'll recommend 1 of the DT games, if you tell me how patient you are, and if you want a game to last longer. (DT2 will last a long time, but DT1 lasts longer)

Kessen II is no where near Kessen III. True, both of them are beautifully made games, but III got the upper hand. Kessen II's game play is slow, not many unique stages but generally, good. Only thing I think is worth mentioning is the very well done strategy factor. About Dynasty Tactics, both are awesomely done by KOEI. IMO, you should get both of them, although a bit hard to find depending on where you live. But if I had to choose one, it outta be DT1. It doesn't let you play as Lu Bu but it's story is far more fun and game play is more addicting than DT2. Both are really great in my point of view though. Old topic I know, posted for the heck of it since LDKHM is still an active member around here.
