Toshiie Maeda is of course going to be one of the next to be added to the series in SW2: Xtreme. I personally can't wait to see what they do with this guy, his character will be able to use a rocky relationship with Keiji and add some depth to the Oda story as he is one of Oda's greatest servants. Add that with his rather wild character he is bound to be a fascinating addition to the series. What are you thoughts on how Toshiie is/will be in the SW series? The game didnt come out but from what I saw on Lugia's videos he has a good moveset and is pretty emotional adding alot to his character. Also I heard he punched Hideyoshi in his ending so 5/5 for him. |

I think he looks fantastic though something is a bit off about him. Doesn't matter, I'm going to buy this game and play him along with other characters. |

I thought it was poor, not, because of the model in itself but because I was expecting his model to be more along the lines of his model in Kessen 3. |

I think he looks amazing, and I'll be blunt in saying I think he was inspired shillouette-wise from Sengoku Basara. That being said, I love that because I love the Toshiie there. Also - I hope that O-Matsu shows up, also clearly inspired by Sengoku Basara. Because Matsu. Is love. |

I dunno..I like his appearance...but it looks too safe. His design is kinda a "Let's make him look like this, so people will like him". Kinda generic for me. I feel like I could easily remake him in DW4 character edit. |

Toshiie is Keiji's Uncle. I don't know about the game universe, but historically Toshiie's brother adopted Keiji. |

Yep and the funny part is that Keiji looks older to me. And I love his design. He looks really strong and a bit crazy like Keiji, even though they aren't blood related. |

Yes, they are related he is Keiji's uncle but they never got along well. Keiji would always harm Toshiie's rep so Toshiie attempted to have Keiji assassinated many times so Keiji would not further ruin his reputation in Nobunaga's army. Keiji than went to the Kenshin's clan. I like the way he looks his weapons look cool and his gold armor looks great. I like the hair style too. |

I thought Toshiie was younger then Keiji, yet was his uncle due to the family tree? It would be strange having an uncle younger then you, probably contributed to why they had a strange relationship. That was my understanding of it anyway... For what it's worth, Wiki suggests that Keiji is older then Toshiie as well. |

Two years difference in age doesn't exactly determine things. I mean, my brother is two years younger than me, but people always think he's the eldest; doesn't help that he's very tall... |

Keep in mind that Keiji was adopted. He wasn't the biological son of Maeda Toshihisa (Toshiie's older brother) and since the adoption (and marriage) system was way different back then, I wouldn't make a big deal about his and Toshiie's small age difference. And I wouldn't trust Keiji's Wiki bio either. It doesn't even bother to state the sources. //According to Wiki Keiji was born in 1543 while Toshiie was born in 1539. I checked Japanese Wiki (which mentions sources) and it gives the same year. |

I can't decide who I like better. While Keiji is a great character Toshiie looks so much more interesting. And it doesn't hurt that he has cool weapons. |
