New 4th and 5th weapons; aka 1st and 2nd secret weapons

You put a lot of time into it, lol.) Well I have a lot of free time. As for Nene's 5th all I did was protect the Seige Ramp and killed 300. As for Ginchiyo...I can't remember hers. I actually read the hint and got it. I stopped the cannons and then I forgot what else I did. What does it say?

I did that with Nene when I played it. I protected the siege ramp and killed a total of 630something but I never got the message. Is there a time limit to the kill amount?

First Lieutenant Posts: 147 Group: Members Member #9,423 Joined: August 29, 2007	I actually managed Ginchiyo's weapon fairly nicely, it was kinda easy.All I did was stop the cannons and get 300 kills, pretty much, if I remember correctly.Haven't tried to get any new weapons except that one and that accursed Shibata's, though XD

I've gotten at least half of mine on Expert mode with a level 50-60 character. So far I have yukimura, Mitsuhide, Keiji, Nobunaga, Kenshin, Kanetsugu, Ina, Ginchiyo, Tadakatsu, Kojiro, Toshiie, Sakon, Hanzo, and Shingen.

First Lieutenant Posts: 147 Group: Members Member #9,423 Joined: August 29, 2007	You know what's funny?While trying to get Toshiie's fourth weapon and failing miserably although I was doing everything right, I realized why I was unable to get Katsuie's 4th...you can't unlock 4th or 5th weapons until you finish the character's story mode XD I didn't even realize it until today, as I usually did that in SW beforehand, but in DW3 I used to use the 2player trick to get fourths and fifths early before doing a character's musou. I feel so dumb now x.x

All you need to do is secure ALL of the eastern garrisons and get 300 kills before your allies start talking about betraying you. It is much simpler than it sounds believe me. As for his 4th, still having trouble getting that myself.

First Lieutenant Posts: 147 Group: Members Member #9,423 Joined: August 29, 2007	Oh, I'd already gotten it, the thing is I didn't realize you needed to complete story mode first until after I tried the stage and beaten it once while doing the requirements XD If you're having trouble with Katsuie's fourth, I found out that if you pause the game during dialogue, wait for it to finish, and unpause, it cuts a little time off and allows you to have a bit more time to work with. I finished all the objectives with 10 seconds left to spare using this, and got the fourth weapon (FINALLY) shortly thereafter

Okay, exactly WHAT about Yoshimoto needs to be triggered before the 10:00 mark? His remark about the ambush? His "profile" cutscene? His convo with Katsuiie? And also: Does it matter if I take out Hanzo before the peons get to the finishing point? Honestly, I am cutting as many corners as possible with pausing during dialogue. But the weapon will not generate.

Hanzo Hattori: I already got his 4th weapon, but I need help obtainning his 5th weapon. It said im supposed to do this in story mode and at least within the hard mode. Im supposed to do the Battle of Nagashino if it is the right stage. The hint said that im supposed to kill key officers. I dont know what key officers they want because by the end of this stage all the Takeda is dead. Im I supposed to defeated only certain officers in a certain order or what? Any info let me know I did this stage twice but no weapon appeared. Gracia: I did the Battle of Osaka Bay in story mode in Hard Mode. Now I am not sure about the hint meant. Something about the transport/supply unit. I did this stage twice. I even got the supply unit to reach its destination before that Oda Battleship reinforcment appeared. Somehow the weapon did not appear so if there was something I did not do right with the supply/transport unit let me know. Motochika Chosokabe: I did the Battle of Kuzegawa in Hard Mode in Story Mode. Okay im not sure what im doing. I am aware that if one allied unit gets routed its an automatic defeat. Now it said something about defeating the Reinforcemnts and something else. Im not sure what im doing but if anyone knows more about obtaining Motochika's weapon let me know. Kojiro Sasaki: I did the Chaos in Kyoto stage in Hard mode in story mode Again not sure what I was doing, the hint said that im supposed to defeat many officers and make my rival appear, mostly could be Musashi. I was not sure what im supposed to do that time, all I did was defeat officers and take out Vagabonds and routed Kiyomasa Kato. Any info on how to get Kojiro's 4th weapon let me know. Every help counts

Every help counts Hello, not sure if you got your answers yet but I though I would help: There is a guide for new characters 4th weapons and all 5th weapons here that is being updated as the requirements are confirmed. Also, if you need to request further help, you can do so in the future in this thread. Just specify in your post that it is for SW2:XL and someone can help you get the answer I hope this helps

This method works because is the one I used. Normally if you kill mitsunari first and too fast you won't get the mission to seize mt. tenno, so you won't be able to acquire the weapon.

Actually you don't have to wait for the mission message. I just ran up there and killed him as soon as the stage started. Really it's just to kill those three as fast as possible and you'll get the weapon for sure.

Left General Posts: 729 Group: Members Member #10,791 Joined: November 3, 2007	whats the best way in getting tadakatsu's 4th weapon i can usully get upto the minor lords then whilst i am killing hideyoshi ieyasu gets into the fortress if i attack ieyasu hideyoshi gets into the fortress maamune never seems to care it seems i think i did it when i first got sw2 but i can't do it now any ideas sorry for double posting but i just got Tadakatsu's 4th weapon so thanx to mr honda i did it abit different though first off it was the swordsmen i killed Kojiro then Musashi then took out the other officers. then it was the ninjas killed Fuma first and hanzo straight afer as he attacked me then i killed neneand the other warriors. keiji was next luckily it doesn't matter if your bodyguard kills keiji which he in game she in real life did i then killed all of the generals i had all bases secure with men outside. the last thing was the minor lords for some reason they all attacked the central fort i took out date then ieyasu by this time hideyoshi ws still mowing through men trying to get through the middle path to the central camp i took him out got the weapon killed hojo last Weapon 5 aquired easy as hell Posts merged, please use the EDIT button next time rather than double posting, thanks =)
