In the Rotk series what are officers strategists you like executing? In most series when I play I like executing Yuan Shu, Yuan Yao, and Liu Shan. Just because they are worthless generals who never contribute a thing to your force. I guess it might be strange that I execute people like Liu Bei too, just for the hell of it. |

You could've picked better examples of "useless" officers since Yuan Shu and Yuan Yao can actually do stuff. Unlike, say, Zhang Kai or any of the four southern Jing governors. |

 Akechi Mitsuhide(WGXH) *Ruler* Perks: Arms Expert (Mitsuhide's soldiers take less damage from muskets) Tennozan Charge: Mitsuhide may use this skill to have any Akechi unit quickly gain speed and get to high ground or any advantegeous spot of Mitsuhide's choosing. I execute a lot of people with items, except on occasions Lu Bu, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei (but I use the thing to steal the item off them anyway :lol:) I execute anyone who doesn't join me really  Some that I don't give a chance to join me are really just the 1s that annoy me in battle, and traitors (Fushi Ren :angry:) |

I actually do sometimes execute based on looks as well. If the officer has crappy stats and an even crappier portrait I can't help but send him to the ax lest I want to have to deal with the horrors of seeing his ugly mug appear again. However, in most cases I just let them go unless they prove to be very, very annoying. Although I usually have a no tolerance for oath brothers because they are too hard to recruit, so they usually end up getting the ax as well. Also, this has no basis besides personal experience, but I found that making an example out of someone usually made (weaker) officers more willing to join me. Again, this probably is just my mind warping it that way, but eh, whatever. |

I dont think I kill anybody but I use to go off killing Wu's general that kill Guan Yu. Why kill Shu? you guys were the ones attacking them Zhoutai50. I also like killing xiahou yuan and xu huang sometimes for his axe back then in rtk 4. |

I don't kill all of Shu. I always let people like Zhang Fei, Liu Bei, Liao Hua, etc. go. I only execute the ones I have a personal distaste for, those who get too much credit, and those who kill some of my favorite officers. Otherwise, I only execute those who betray me or continually cause me grief in battle. |

Ma Chao- Personal distaste, overrated. Zhuge Liang- See above. Zhao Yun- overrated. Guan Yu- overrated. Also I kill Sun Hao, Cen Hun, and Huang Hao. |

If I'm playing as Wu and Sun Hao comes of age, I make it a point to fire him and let the opposition pick him up just so I can execute him. |

Personally, I try to kill officers in battle rather than executing in RTK XI. It's rather refreshing to force a duel with a douche like Yang Song or Guo Tu, only for my Zhao Yun or Zhang Liao to kill them in the opening pass of the duel. But of characters I do execute: Yang Song (although sometimes I'll let him join, than force him to ride out first in a battle to get killed by the enemy) Guo Tu Feng Ji Yuan Tan Gongsun Zan Huang Zu Tao Qian Most of Zhang Lu's men Huang Hao Sun Hao Liu Zhang (unless I'm Liu Bei) The entire Ma family except Ma Chao and Ma Yunlu I'll keep most other people, or let them go. |

Sadly, being in Europe, I'm stuck with RotK8. So executing is the only thing I can do. However, I execute anybody who is a particular problem, ie in the Chi Bi campign, Sun Quan, Zhuge Liang and Zhou Yu must go to make the overall decimation go that much smoother. but Shu goes down indescriminately, with a few exceptions. Huang Zhong gets to live. |

So far, I'm a nice person, so I don't go executing, unless that person happens to be Huang Zu (my character is related to the Sun family). I don't like executing my enemy officers, anyway. I like to lower their loyalties and get them to join instead!! (In ROTK 8, I once got Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang to betray Liu Bei!!! However, I was an officer in Cao Cao's forces, and Cao Cao has a lot of rumour mongering folk in his train. It was fun though!!  )

I rarely execute people, but if they start pissing me off and constantly trying to take my city then i'll execute them. For example Xiahou Dun is trying to attack my city of Lu Jiang right now in ROTKXI, i defeated him four times now. If I see him again trying to take my city i'll execute him. Right now it's the last two kingdoms remaining. I'm in Wu so i have more cities than Cao Cao, bur he has more troops. |

I try not to all the time. But there are a quite few that I do execute. Yuan Yao Yuan Shu Huang Hao Cen Hun Pretty much all the timid people in the game. |

Depends on scenario. Dong Zhuo for example is always on my list in Dong Zhuo's Rise,or Yuan Shu in Rival Warlords,after he declares himself emperor. And I usually kill officers,that were killed in history by the force I play. However,I certainly will NOT kill officers I like.

Yuan Shu, to get his Imperial Seal, or I just hire him take it from him then kill him  I kill everyone who kills an officer of mine or betrays me, that simple. I even let officers that would never join me like Zhang Fei and Guan Yu off to hire them later when I defeat Liu Bei. |

With time, their loyality will decrease, might take time depending on who are you trying to employ, of course their loyality will only decrease if you keep them impresoned. Otherwise, if their with another forces, you can use the command Rumor to lower the officers' loyalities and get to employ some. The higher the officer's loyality, the close they are to their ruler, the more years they served in an army makes it harder to get them. Oh and if you have already excuted a family member, they'll never join you. Kill Liu Bei, and Zhang Fei& Guan Yu won't join you, etc.. |
