I'm heading up in the world! Posts: 882 Group: Members Member #6,352 Joined: March 27, 2007 Gender Male	Jian Ye especially doing it on 4XL they really upped the AI on that, for the main reason its the hardest cause you have to defeat all of the Sun family each becoming a Super or Hyper General can't remember which once one is dealt with another takes over. Xu Chang was the easiest.

Perfected Mastermind Of The Secret Sechemers Posts: 522 Group: Members Member #8,677 Joined: July 21, 2007	Agreed.Jian Ye is the hardest and as said by Li_An_Di,they actually have 4 commanders,each becoming somewhat stronger after you defeat the before hand commander.Also,you cant jus tstart killing like Sun Quan,etc because they just have to respawn.
	I cant take pride in such megear Endevaors.

I have played with the Nanman and fought Wei in hard mode, all I can say is wow. Most generals are very hard. You suffer many things with playing with the Nanman. Meng Ho's speed Zhu Rong's lack of power. You might need good items to get far in this battle.

I hated that stage more than any other. Jian Ye isn't that hard to me. It must be those damn fake Sun Jian's that appear through the whole place, that bug's the hell out of me. Besides that, the real Sun Jian is harder. Yeah, the level is actually a bit hard.

Jian Ye is definitely the hardest. the fake Sun Jians are a pain to beat. not to mention you have Ce, Quan and Xiang Shang on the battlefield as well. Actually what i though was the easiest wasn't Xu Chang, but rather Cheng Du.

Xu Chang: There are only two hard parts in this stage. One of them is the part where oyu have to save the main camp and the siege ramp. Failed any of them and your army's morale will go down to almost nothing. The second part is fighting cao cao himself. The man himself is not hard but he's got four pumped up elite guards that carry lighting element and with horses and they can interrupt your attacks while you are focusing with cao cao. Cheng Du: What made this stage hard are the juggernauts and the powered up unique characters. Juggies have insanely high attack power and hp and almost impossible to kill and their attacks hurt like hell. Not to mention, guan yu n ma chao are pain in the ass to kill in this stage and they are almost impossible to kill in a duel unless u manage to score a hit on them in every single sec. Jian Ye: The sun jian clones are not hard. In fact, they help you a lot by providin musou wine after you kill them.The insane part comes after you defeat either huang gai, zhou tai or taishi ci. The sun siblings will charge out and the enemy's morale get a double boost. Even worse, you have to kill the real sun jian (which is a pain because koei decided to nicely put him right in the middle of enemy camp) before you can kill sun ce, quan, shang xiang in order or else they will respawn like no 2molo. Not to mention that u have to worry about your commander dying because ce n shang xiang will target your commander which probably has two or three star morale. But to be honest, nothing is more pain compare to playing the namman stage in hard mode with either shu or wu. Armoured troops, elephants, poison swamps, insanely high morale enemy troops, meng huo appearing 7 times, bad weather that lowers your armies morale every 5 minutes and your commander being overpowered by enemy soldiers................what more can you ask

Xu Chang althoug not that much harder has always presented the most problems for me when I was at the lower levels, so I voted for it. Just you have to run back to that blasted outpost like 3 time to save Guan Xing's hide since Zhuge Liang cant fight, then protecting the seige ramp so not to draw the battle out. Not to mention that facing all 3 Sun brats is alot easier than Cao Cao (hyper), Xiahou Dun, Dian Wei, and Sima Yi at the same time if you dont.

Another annoying part is when all those bombs go off in the west wing of Xu Chang castle. I would have to say that Cheng du is the easiest and with Jian Ye you jaust have to be quick and strong and plan your route.

Although in my opinion battle of Nan Zhong and battle of Fan castle were far more difficult stages then any of the final three. (Fan perhaps more than anything else if you weren't playing as Guan Yu.. That stage was almost unbeatable on higher difficulty )

Posts: 4,284 Group: Members Member #7,714 Joined: June 2, 2007	Omg Jian Ye is like the most annoying and difficult stage where you have to chase 4 of the commanders on a big map (and defeat them twice, except Sun Jian) and your allies die like flies. Xu Chang was also hard in a sense Cao Cao was fully buffed up at the end and he had some very elite body guards which either had a lot of hp or took a lot of effort to kill. Cheng Du is not really hard and Pang Tong was easy to save, don't know why it's considered hard.

Jian Ye wasn't that hard since you could end it quickly. Xu Chang wasn't that hard either, it gets hard when you enter the castle though.

If so, then that stage was pretty long, not necessarily hard except when Ma Chao charges at Cao Cao. A buffed up Zhuge Liang & Liu Bei + a whole lot of peasants was annoying to deal with too.

I think that Ma Chao is the easy one of the two, as long as you can stay on your feet during the duel, just knock him up in the air and don't let him touch the ground ^.^

I don't remember how I played on the Battle of Jian Ye but I didn't like that much either with the annoying fake Sun Jian's everywhere. I remeber Xu Cheng being the hardest cause I screwed up the first when I accepted a duel with Xu Zhu and got killed. The second time around when I played it with another character, Cao Cao killed me. >.> Cheng Du came second for me because when I was playing as Zhu Rong, Yue Ying and her juggernauts killed me when I was close to finishing the map. That really annoyed me. >_>

Xu Chang is just hard when your not the commander of the battle, also when not protecting the weaponry. It's very easy for the enemy to take those two things out pretty quickly. The other two are beyond too simple for me. Cheng Du, only small problems was the juggernauts, Jian Ye, fighting off Sun Jian clones with the exact voice.

A lot of times before I lost the track mostly because I can't protect the siege ramp and the bottom fort. The other 2 are fun to play. Cheng Du's track is fun to listen to over and over again, and Jian Ye you get to beat the 3 Sun children over and over again.
