da pwnR Posts: 204 Group: Members Member #13,004 Joined: January 31, 2008	lu xun, way too young, and too zhang he like......but a GOOD CHARACTER. hes smart enough to beat zhuge liang in yi ling and completely ownz with the wu. his moves are quick, much in the ssx style to play, but not ver powerful nor do he have a great range, hes combo is kinda hard to contral as i find because he has alot of narrow hit and way too short of range
	Dong Zhao is da best...hahahahahahahahahahahahhaha!!owned

It makes up for the range thanks to the airtime and two explosions at the end.

He certainly is very fast at both running and attacking which is partly why I like him. As for his moveset I really liked it and from what I have seen it looks good in DW6 also. His personality to me is ok and so is his character design. His battle grunts in DW5 don't sound like they should be coming from him though, they are too deep sounding XD

He's part of this well-beloved foursome that I'm sure you can imagine - the 4-way Lu Xun, Lu Meng, Gan Ning & Ling Tong (partly because they could double date so well in some minds :lol:). So, here's some interesting peices I came upon. Duck!Zhou Yu, Little Bear!Lu Xun, and Big Bear!Lu Meng. Little Bear!Lu Xun's tiny pyromaniac issue. DON'T STEAL FOOD. Daycare!

Once you surf them, you'll find that the characters that are most popular in fanartist circles tend to be the Wu foursome (Ling Tong, Gan Ning, Lu Meng & Lu Xun) with some +2 ammendments (Sun Quan & Zhou Tai are included sometimes), Jiang Wei, and Ma Chao. Lu Xun specifically is very, very popular with fanartists (among the most popular, alongside Ling Tong). Watermelon ride! (guest-starring Jiang Wei, Ma Chao & Lu Meng)

He already acts wimpy enough (something that doesn't bother me) without it. I mean his outfit is GREAT. He's like a moving inferno, matching his pyro like personality but that thing just...UGH! As far as MS is concerned, awesome. I'm glad he's useful again. First time since DW3.

It reminds me very much of indeginous tattooing that people recieved when they came of age. ....Which, now that I think about it, makes sense in Lu Xun's situation. The weapon, the new look, his story, it's all great Not to mention you can actually see his hair now. His hat was my least favorite aspect of his design before (one of the reasons why I used his alt costume in DW 4-5) His moveset is faster and less clunky, too. I'm surprised that so many people dislike his face paint. I think it's adorable tennoarashi: Where do you keep finding all of this amazing fanart? I really like his personality, and also his Japanese VA he sounds really formal compared to other characters...but it's really suited him. I really like his new looks in DW6, he looks wiser.

I liked him better in DW3 since his 4th had the demon element and only a few characters did. Other than that, I've never really been a fan of his, though I do really like his DW5 VA. I hope that it returns for DW7 and that his twin swords do. I mean, I don't mind his moves in DW6 but its just that it looks like he is trying to avoid every arrow fired at him, and I find it quite weird.

Mostly, I just browse Japanese fanart sites via the Sangoku Search (I'm unable to link it since it's blocked here at work). You can tell who are popular characters for artists though; there's an absolute abundance of art for a few characters (Lu Xun is among the most popular with artists (partially because 90% of these artists are BL artists)).

(And for me, he just look more handsome in DW6...instantly fell in love with the design when I saw it the first time).

From what I see, he looks really young in DW3, even younger from DW4... @Oblivion94 : Maybe that's why, it's hard to clear crowd with him in DW5. But in WO his R1's really great - I can even blast Masamune up with 2 hits of it. Too bad it deplets his musou.
