Vol.1 was the very first video ever shown, then the TGS (with hte same begginning and end as Vol.1) was Vol.2 of the trailer

Off-topic - Almost 100 pages again , guess it will be time for v5 soon

so the tgs one was the vol.2 one, then I can't wait to see Vol.3 wonder what character will be revealed hope that jiang wei would be revealed and ma chao.

Yeah Vol.3 SHOULD be the next one coming ;). I heard (rumor) that Sun Quan was in the trailer stuff so since he hasn't been seen yet, I expect us to see him there more then likely, then if anywhere else

Yes we should see him in the next trailer. And if we're lucky he will have improved as much as his brother and father.

The only thing that I'm worried about is that since the rest of the Suns look so warrior like, Quan will revert back to his scholar appearance for variety. I think this would be a major step backwards for him, since he doesn't look like a eader this way. I love the leader/warrior appearance from DW5, and hope they just expand upon it.

What are you talking about? Of course they weren't going to implement the Warriors Orochi team system in DW6. That game had over 70 characters, so they put that system so that everyone can get a chance to play with their favorite characters. Also, the musou's in WO were kingdom based, in DW6 it's individual based, so why would they put the team system in? That's not a valid reason to critique Koei on.

Well, I think it is.

Let's face it, even by itself, Shin Sangoku Musou still has over 40 characters that are spread out over 3 kingdoms and other factions, and probably will stand to add a few more in this installment.

My thoughts were, whether they were going to do individual Musou stories, or just a Kingdom/Faction type of thing again, it would have been interesting if, instead of just playing one character for a level, we would have been able to take 2-3 to switch between throughout the course of a level. For instance, instead of picking just one of the Qiao sisters for a Wu mission, you could have picked both. Or had Zhou Yu and Sun Ce working together. Ling Tong and Gan Ning...y'know, basically, pairings that would have made sense for the course of whichever character (or kingdom) you wanted to play as. And certain pairings of characters could have joint attack maneuvers that would have been cool to see, especially under this new Ranbu System, for one.

My thing, basically, is that I felt that the Musou Orochi team system was a good step in the right direction, and it's a bit of a shame that Omega Force couldn't do something to try and rework it, fix its flaws and then put it to use in a "mainstream" Musou title, like SSM5 or (the eventual) Sengoku Musou 3.

If team system is just going to be a one shot for the sake of Musou Orochi, then yeah, I'm going to be at least a bit disappointed. Why throw out something that worked quite well, and could have just used some tweaks to make it better?

yeah I wish they have that too, and that the characters can do a combination attack, my thought is that I don't know if koei would do that maybe if they get enough people saying they want that in there they will put it on?

Zhou Yu: Sun Ce, first of all, gather up the military force to the front gate.
Your battle (attack) from the front (directly) is with dignity. Isn't it right?

Well, I don't think his costume is bland, it's his face. He's handsome, but to me it looks like a carbon-copy of a million (exaggeration) other video game characters, what I mean to say that he's not very unique looking, like they didn't put much effort into making him stand-out. I think it's kind of a down grade... I dunno. Just me ranting as usual. :P

After much enjoyable staring at both his DW5 Gamecity profile and this one, I've noticed that... they really haven't changed is face at all. :P The only difference is the hairstyle and the higher quality render. That's what probably makes his face look 'softer' and not so emaciated. But I see very little difference between his DW5 face and his DW6 one. The eyes are pinched a little more upward, which is a good thing since it takes away from the western-ized look. In fact looking at Sun Ce and others, it seems that as far as faces are concerned, they've at least made an effort to make them look a little more Chinese.

The outfits are something else entirely. But I like his. They can take Sun Shang Xiang's back to the Disney store though!!

Anyways. I have to disagree with you. If anything, Zhou Yu's new look alone is what has sold this game to me, that and his weapon. It's exciting really. He's been a staple part of DW, one of the easiest characters to use and learn. Now that he's changed so much, it's really gonna be like an entirely new game, learning a whole new moveset for one of the timeless members of the DW family! Far from bland, if you ask me. ^^;;

Like I said, I don't have a problem with his new weapon, I'm all for it! I love the look of his moves in the screen shots. I love how real the animation looks. I hope the animation in cut scenes is just as phenomenal, in previous DW, character movements have been stiff and awkward for the most part during movies and cut scenes. LAME! lol.
But I digress! Back to Zhou Yu!
I dunno, to me, his face has been altered. It looks younger and his face looks longer. His nose seems narrower. Something about it is different!
His face reminds me of Jin from Xenosaga: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v483/Cra...eJess/Jin-1.jpg

Maybe the black, long hair is just throwing me off. That hair belongs to ZHANG HE, not Zhou Yu. Why did they have to put Zhang He's beautiful hair up in a silly, girly bun?? :(
OH, you haven't heard me gripe about Zhang He. I'm not too fond of the gloves...

Anyway, Sun Quan should be totally re-vamped in my opinion. His look/move-set does nothing for me... he needs to be more bada** or something.
