I'll always love Kyushu. Poor Sakon. As Xiao put it 'Sakon thinks too much', that was the essence of that stage. No one listened to him XD;. Wei and SW's 8-X stages are just soooo much fun <3. Only reason why I ranked Shu over Wu was for the characters and Magoichi. Especially Magoichi. Bless him XD. Otherwise it really.. really sucked story wise. u_u; Wu's story was only marginally better but Osaka Castle and Osaka Bay = CRAP. Each takes nearly a full 20 mins to complete! D8< Bah, it fails so much.

But Samurai Warriors had Nobunaga and the story had its funny moments too eg. Xiao Qiao, Okuni, Zhang Jiao and Sakon lol.

Killing people in the jungle since your mom was born Posts: 253 Group: Members Member #10,246 Joined: October 10, 2007	SW storyline for me since you start out with a very powerful team... and its one of the things that i actually didn't change any of 1 of the starting characters... and that was Nobunaga... (Yep, used from from start to finish ^_^) though it was pretty strange for me at first in looking at Nobunaga's "Heroic" role despite of him still being portrayed as his usual villainous self. and I agree with Prince of Wei that SW had its funny moments. Wei story mode is also what i like.. It really described how the people of Wei under him would be in their service to Orochi - traitorous xD. It was so cool of Cao Pi having that master plan of taking down Orochi all along. Wei's SM also featured one of the funniest things i've heard in a KOEI game: Xiahou Yuan: "Oh Orochi... WE LOVE YOU OROCHI!!! Bwahh!!!"

Plus, Wei has the most uncharismatic roster of characters ever. You guys are kind of harsh on the Wu storyline. As annoying as the Osaka battle is, the tension between Sun Ce and his siblings was great. And Sakon Shima% Keiji! C'mon! Oh, their last cutscene was the suckiest, too, but still... Shu's lucky to have Musashi Miyamoto and Guan Yu. The story for this one is so weak that I would've ranked it last, if not for those two characters. And as for SW...powerful storyline, Nobunaga, Guan Ping, Mitsuhide, great final battle, good final cutscene?! Where do I sign?!

Officer Posts: 90 Group: Members Member #10,012 Joined: September 29, 2007	Storyline alone, 1. Wei. There is an actual build-up and the gaiden storylines are fun. 2. SW. Good storyline, but not as "intense" as Wei's. 3. Wu. Storyline is similar in a way to Wei's, only more corny. Sun Ce makes a fun lead character, though, and the Wu guys like Lu Meng, Taishi-Ci, and Sakon Shima have plenty of character. Plus, many Wu stages have funny lines. . . . . . 4. Shu. Zhou Yun speaks and acts like an earnest puppy. The whole plot about sacrificing all your allies just to save Liu Bei, Savior of KOEIverse, is too corny for me. The storylines of Wei, SW, and to a lesser extent Wu are all about defeating Orochi and ending the chaos. Shu's story is all about saving Lord and Savior Liu Bei the Great, with an "Oh, we must defeat Orochi?" theme tagged on secondary. Plus, it has Zuo Ci who is clearly ghey for Liu Bei. How sad that while these Shu morons (Guan Yu, Zhuge Liang, Zhang Fei) are working for Orochi to save Lord Liu Bei or running around trying to locate him (Zhao Yun and the rest of the Shu-by Doo gang), folks from Wu, Wei, and SW are actually trying to topple the snake men. Who needs Liu Bei anyway? We have Nobunaga, Cao Pi, and Sun Ce, so there! B)

Most fights were really good not to mention Tadakatsu intensifies everything, also, I liked seeing the family feuds. Overall I enjoyed it because of Tokugawa and Sun alliance. Throughout the story mode they became very good friends.

Oda simmered around the edges for the best part scheming and building up a decent army before seizing the advantage to strike and sweeps aside a gob smacked Orochi army time and time again. This storyline was the only not spend caring about what has happened to Cao Cao, Lui Bei or Sun Jian and playing it the last of the 4 i found it a welcome and refreshing change

Through Light, Through Darkness Posts: 1,329 Group: Moderators Member #11,841 Joined: December 12, 2007 Gender Male	Lets see: Shu: For once Zhao Yun is a leader and the thing about searching for Liu Bei is a heavy plot, Zhuge Liang also played a important role throughout the story by helping from within Orochi's ranks. Wei: Cao Pi is now shown as a capable leader and his plan against Orochi wasn't bad, I like how he wants to surpass Cao Cao and the fact hes friends with Mitsunari. Wu: Meh for me, Sun Ce's role as the unwilling servant was interesting, but it was to concentrated on the family theme, something seen to often. Sengoku: Nobunaga's role is really unique, being the one who would ally forces to fight Orochi, very good story. So in short Sengoku and Wei are my favorites, Wu being my least.

B) SW, It was good as it showed the three leaders working together......... B) WEI / WU - these two stories seemed to be the same as both force were captured by Orochi forces and been ordered to follow his command......... But for me WU would be my least favourite, cause it seemed pointless, as it was only about the Sun family.........

青龙 Posts: 1,712 Group: Moderators Member #6,080 Joined: March 15, 2007	My two favorites story mode in WO are Wei & Shu Story, maybe a bit more Wei Story, because there's more interaction with Orochi's side, then the trio -Cao Pi, Ishida Mitsunari, & Da Ji- is so awesome Shu Story is great too SW story is good but not as Shu or Wei Story (Nobunaga know everything XD) And Wu come in last because to be honest I didn't understand all the Wu Story XD

Noh, Zhu Rong, Yue Ying, Goemon, Kunoichi, Ginchiyo). but SW and Wei were brilliant too, as they had suprising character buffs(Zhen Ji, Yoshimoto, Xiao Qiao, Shingen, Okuni).
