Damn straight. And thats why Odawara fell Aside from his garbage musou, he is one of my favorites in SW. Both for Personality and MS. I wonder, if in SW3, they'll keep the helmet the same or make it like the one he used historically. Apparently it had the Kanji character for LOVE or something. Not too sure, but that'd be really funny. I can just picture something like this: (Fight against a dishonorable person) Enemy: Love? whats that supposed to mean? Naoe: It means that Buddha loves you. Enemy: Ok, but why do you wear the helmet? Naoe: Stabs enemy To let you know that I DON'T love you. Keiji: Hey your cool, can I join you? Mindless slaughter is my kinda thing. Naoe: Why not? laughs, prepares to stab Keiji :ph43r:

The way he goes on about justice and everything can get really annoying i've never been a fan of justice lovers. Some of his moves can be quite good and i like going magic users usually

He is very unique and fun to use. Yes he does the honor thing a little to much but not any more than Ma Chao and JUSTICE! But I kinda like that. Overall I give him a 8/10.

In fact, I bought Orochi all because of him (and I didn't play SW2 yet!) believe me, I will buy SW2, just because my love to Kanetsugu-sama! He will soon be my fast character to reach Lv99 in Orochi. Yeah, I love Kanetsugu-sama. That's all I can say.

His moveset is a bit odd, I can't seem to make his specials useful and his musou is odd too. His personality is grating, "HONOR! HONOR! HONOR! DOWN WITH DISHONOURABLE PEOPLE AND DEATH TO DISHONOURABLE IEYASU! I WANT MITSUNARI AND YUKIMURA'S BABIES!", he should have a charge moveset, a better mosou and a better personality for SW3.

And i do under stand how people are gonna hate some characters but I'm hoping they don't change Naoe coz hes COOL!!!!!!! (just give him a new costume and new moves)

I think they're damn sexy . I actually like it when he goes into his rants. I just laugh it off, I mean seriously who pays attention to people when the rant? I honestly don't :mellow: . Unless it's a sporting event though... it's rather stress relieving to rant after your team loses.

I love his MS, appearance and his sometimes annoying personality. I will never forget his infamous quote from Odawara Castle in SW2 or his letter to Ieyasu in SW2: Empires.

- Posts: 3,367 Group: Banned Member #7,082 Joined: April 29, 2007	Right now he's one of my best characters alongside Tokugawa Ieyasu and Maeda Keiji. I don't know how you could hate him. He has some really great quotes. Before Hasedo, when referring to Date Masamune, he says something really awesome like, "The king of the dogs is drawing near...lured by the scent of blood. I must protect my men." When he advises Mitsunari he also proves himself to be clever. Thanks to his quote in Kawanakajima, "An inveritable medley of tactics are being used," I also added two more words to my lexicon that helped me with my college essay, lol. Otherwise, the love, justice and honor talk just makes me laugh. Most of the time, it's over the top to the point of stupidity and hilarity. That's what makes Naoe Kanetsugu so lovable. How can you not laugh at: "Odawara Castle is impregnable, but it has one weakness-ITS LACK OF JUSTICE!"?

His musou with his fourth weapon and elemental effects strengthened causes lightning meteors to fall down on any enemies nearby him. You can literally just run around and kill 50+ troops and/or get 900+ combos. With rage (which fills musou bars up faster) and other musou power-up skills, he's incredible. His square+square+square+triangle+triangle move is also an awesome crowd clearer that's able to get his 3 musou bars up to full assuming that you do this move in a group of enemies. Do that, then his musou, then rinse and repeat, and you can clear most stages or enemies with ease...

I get over 100 kills for Musashi third musou on a horse :lol: . And His square+square+square+triangle+triangle move isn't that good. It doesn't kill that much people and only thing I probably like is the meteors part but doesn't Sakon Shima have that is well for his thord musou .

Tiger General Posts: 554 Group: Members Member #5,956 Joined: March 8, 2007	It's easy to hate Kanetsugu. He and his musou are weak all the way through. His moveset is okay by itself, but he lets it down by being so weak and useless. He's also only 2nd to Nagamasa in the annoying department. His meteors do not make up for how irritating and weak he is.
