I see a lot of hatred. Only thing I annoy myself about him is his "Love and Honour" part. His moves are overall good for crouwd clearance AND for 1v1 officer fight. His musou lvl 3 can be annoying, but an Ice element comes in quite handy. |

I like that him, Yukimura and Mitsunari had like this "Brother Bond" in SW2. It was pretty cool, when they put their weapons together and stated their names. It was like the Three Sworn Brothers of Japan. I think in Yukimura's final battle in SW2, doesn't Kanetsugu switch sides after you defeat him? |

Yep... Anyway, I like how Knaetsugu seems like the "scholar" of the period, he just seems to explain all current events, about the army, etc. I love it... I hope he keeps that role... Except... EXEMPT HIM FROM KAWANKAJIMA!!! Seriously, wasn't he 1 at the time... And at some point Kenshin's little... >_> NVM! Youknow, after readin Naoe's history.. I lost all respect for Kenshin. |

Try to keep the history references out when you are talking about the game. I mean, Yukimura is probably 5 at the time of Nagashino, and he's always there. So the timeline is not followed to the letter at all times. |

I quite like playing as Kanetsugu but his ridiculous helmet annoys me, plus his WO "British accent" and his "Lord Kenshin is divine" thing annoys me. I like his weapon and moveset though |

I love Kanetsugu. I make fun of his honor and love crap most of the time, but there's this one scene in Empires where Kanetsugu and Keiji talk. Keiji's making fun of his silly hat, and Kanetsugu retorts a simple "Touche". That totally won me over okay. So cute. |

Oh, so much Kanetsugu love. Honor honor honor honor honor honor honor honor honor... Makes me want to give him snark like Mitsunari, but I adore his moveset and personality. He's the type of person you just want to go up and hug for no reason. Am I the only one? >_>  >_>o_o Mmk.

I'm sure we here on Koei Warriors have a high level of tolerance. I don't find him annoying at all. His officer defeat quote is just as repetitive as anyone else's. Maybe some people are just disdainful of those who promote morality. Ma Chao and Kanetsugu are my favorite characters from their respective series because they're tough and honorable, but mostly because they're tough. |

I used to hate Kanetsugu because of his "honor and love" speeches every waking moment, but I learned he is a character to be respected for who he is. ^^ He certainly made it up there in my top favorite characters of all time from Samurai Warriors for sure! I adore his moveset, he's strong when you use him right. ^^ Much love for Kanetsugu Naoe! <3 |

I loved Kanetsugu pretty much the instant I saw his design. The White robes really make him stand out compared to most of the other SW characters. I hate that so many See him as a clone of Ma Chao. Ma Chao runs around using Justice as a sad attempt to justify his hatred of Cao Cao and his desire to murder Cao Cao in Cold Blood. I also Love how he plays. So many dismiss him as sucking because he's not an offense powerhouse. Everything he has makes him a very defensive Character. A movest that's very Protective of himself, specials that make it all the harder for the enemy to strike him, And a musou that will leave nothing, save a general, alive in it's wake. And all the haters just need his 2XL weapon to fix that and turn him into an offensive powerhouse. |
