Soldier Posts: 8 Group: Members Member #10,059 Joined: October 1, 2007	I like Xiahou Dun because i made him a 4th uber- weapon with many Abilities on lv 10 If hes touching someone with a charge attack, this poor guy is iced and burned and gets a thunder from above! if i play on hard mode and use my running charge attack from Xiahou Dun to fight an officer, hes got no chance! i use my attack two times and the officer is history!! My Xiahou Dun even kicks LuBus fat Ass! Greeez

He is extremly quick, extremly powerful and when you give him Multi 10, he cannot be stopped. Just don't get hit with him, his defence is pretty low He can attack fast enough to stop him being hit though. Also his R1 makes him even more powerful, by quite a lot, making him abloe to plow through almost anything. Well I haven't tryed Chaos yet...but he can plow through anything in the lower dificulties with ease. :ph43r:

Elite Soldier Posts: 38 Group: Members Member #9,891 Joined: September 23, 2007	I agree with you on Musashi, but once caught out, he seems horribly vulnerable. I'd have to say Guan Ping. I've got him fully levelled up - and he just seems so incredible powerful.

KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	Xiahou Dun and Guan Ping rock if you just want to finish a stage quickly, or simply beat stuff up. But to tell you the truth guys, the guy I pick the most to just put it down is Ranmaru. Give him, Flame, Bolt, Flash, and Agility @ 10 and thats all you need to just murder any stage in the game with his C4.

Another honorable mentions are Nobunaga and Xiahou Dun. I think they are even better than Mitshunari because after his R1 spam is over he can't do as much. Still there are a lot of item drops in this game. <_<

Keiji's power up ability makes him even stronger, Honda you don't need much explanation as to why he is beast, and the beam attack kills non generic officers in almost one shot. Hanzo is a very good mention too. :ph43r:

Sergeant Posts: 22 Group: Members Member #6,244 Joined: March 22, 2007	Nobunaga is my best with Tadakatsu, Dun,and Magoichi after him..Have owned Lu Bu quickly with All four of em on their own. Next be working on Musashi. Most of my chars are low leveled except for the starting out kingdom chars..Sun Ce is my only max.

Seriously, almost everyone in WO are broken with right weapon attributes and abilities. Yes, that even includes Zhang Jiao and Yoshimoto who everyone seem to hate nowadays :mellow:.

Officer Posts: 66 Group: Members Member #9,706 Joined: September 16, 2007	Anyone with a fast wide charge attack is strong when maxed out. Wei Yan is a good Crowd Clearer. And I must say that the best strategy for combo crowd clearer (Exemple: Guan Ping C3, Xiahou Dun C6, Jiang Wei C6) would be Flash and Bolt. While some other Even better crowd clearer (exemple: Wei Yan C3, Yukimura C3, Keiji C3, Xu Huang C3) would be better with Flash and Fire. -Ji Yin.

I desided to do Hard difficulty in Koshi Castle, SW campaign. He defeated Lu Bu with ease, but he was being jugled by enemy officers and didn't get a chance to hit the ground before I killed him :lol: When I went to Orochi, I charged in alone, all Orochi's troops around me, no allies inside. I killed Orochi within several combos, using his C3, C4 and C1, without even giving him or any of his troops a chance to hit me. I know hes broken, but still, it shows he kicksass

Just get 4th weapon with level 10 Slay, Fire, Brave, Might and Flash and you're good as done >_>. //Haven't tried it personally, but I heard Diao Chan's C1 is the most broken attack in the game if you have 4th weapon with right attributes (I think they were Slay, Might, Brave, Flash, Agility and Fire)

The thing is...I never used any of his R1 attacks All Technic characters are able to deal high amount of damage to airborne opponents even without R1 attacks. This is because they have unique skill called Critical Attack which allows them to deal critical damage on airborne enemies with Charge attacks.

Mitsunari has to get a mention, his low Musou consumption of the massive clearing and damaging R1 attack alone is worthy of kicking a hell of allot of ass and very easily. Although like LoW said, just about everyone can kick some ass now thanks to R1 abuse. Lu Meng also for example for previously been the worse spearmen in the games can also kick some serious ass now as well. Unless you want to exclude R1 attacks, but then we would basically compare their DW5 & SW2 versions...

Posts: 3,649 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	I chose Sun Quan. I find him the easiest to juggle with his C4 and his R1 is extremely powerful like all the others that the 76 other characters have to offer. So yeah... I find him to be the best Asskicking character in the game.

is that so. Posts: 26 Group: Members Member #10,092 Joined: October 3, 2007	Today I decided to play all the characters I hadn't tried yet, I busted out Pang Tong, I must say, he is JUST SO BADASS. His Jump Charge is awsome, gliding through troops watching them fall. His Regular R1 releases a Mini Tornado that DESTROYS peons for no Musou Cost (same damage as Mitsunari's it seems, however, I guess the downfall of No Musou Cost is a smaller area, still large enough however). His Directional R1 releases a Hurricane that 1 hits all Generic Officers I've come by. I just can't believe I never played as him before. So awsome.

First Lieutenant Posts: 127 Group: Members Member #9,650 Joined: September 13, 2007	Keiji so far has been the only one who works really well for me on hard, long as he isn't getting shot to hell by arrows or guns heh, havn't gotten Lu Bu's weapon with everything in it i want yet, also i feel i'll be useing Mitsunari alot once i get him to top level/top stats on his 4th weapon. Keiji is the way i got my first 4th weapons, went to the level where you save Diao Chan with a level 99 Keiji and Karma equiped on hard and bam 4th weapon(long as your sure to get all 4 weapons, though even then when we went for Hidayoshi's 4th the first time he didn't get one, unlucky bastard hehe)

I would take off that bolt and put slay on it instead serously, bolt ruins ranmaru's most devastating attack (the running swipe with white gust) You always need to pay attention to the moves a character has before putting elements on it, characters who use multiple hitting ground moves are best suited with bolt because it keeps the character up, characters who use many air moves (like lu xun and ranmaru) need "air" "fire" and "slay" I dont even have flash on lu xun, i just got myself 4th daji and 4th lubu weapon in the stage in wich dong zhuo trys to get money supplys, i cutted trough everything, lu xun is easily staggered tho but his c3 kills lu bu in one hit so nothing to fear. (lu xun is level 99 btw and has only 3rd weapon yet lol)

I've unlocked almost everyone but I haven't gotten to playing all the characters yet. Thus far, my favorite ass-kicker would have to be Hanzo. I've always liked his character design, but in SW2, I had difficulty using him. In Warriors Orochi, using R1 to finish off his combos is just too beastly. SSS + R1 is a great all-purpose eliminator. If he gets hit, just R1 and and watch precious life whittle away! I've also enjoyed using Kunoichi. I didn't get to play SW1 so I was pretty stoked after I unlocked her. I've never played any of the DW games, but from the DW cast that I've gotten to use, I really like Guan Ping, Taishi Ci and Sun Ce. I unlocked Zhou Tai a couple of days ago, so I'll get to him eventually. As far as Lu Bu goes, I'm still getting to that :D.
