First Lieutenant Posts: 155 Group: Members Member #9,477 Joined: September 2, 2007	My vote goes to Kessen I feel that Koei should focus more on this series. I'm glad Bladestorm is very much like it and I'm anticipating that game very much. In fact I might actually buy a PS3 for that game and DW6 alone. I vote for Kessen because it has the most beautiful cutscenes, great strategy elements, better character development, and better story. The story in Kessen is way more in depth than the DW and SW series. I was so impressed with how much that story made me laugh and want to keep playing more and more. DW and SW series are equally as fun but their story was always lacking to me and the the story lines were almost the same thing every time. Kessen makes it some what fictional which I think is good because there is something different thrown out at us. Kessen III also had amazing voice actors Mitshuhide Akechi in particular was outstanding. I also feel that Nobunaga's voice was the best out of every game. If you haven't played a Kessen game yet I would strongly recommend you play Kessen III. Thank you Koei for making Kessen.

I think there should be an updated thread of this when one or two games are released.

	Currently AGC forums but we have become NAG and are expanding check us out. We are currently an XBOX 360 clan we are working on expanding into PC gaming as well.

Thats also when i started liking Lu Bu. In that game, Lu Bu's C4 would knock you a mile back! :lol:

I love SW, but nothing is better than the original. Warriors Orochi kicks but too, but it had the potential to be alot better, and it probably would have been if there was more disc space. That is why I am up for a WO2 for the PS3.

Although samurai warriors good it just wasnt as good as dw and warriors orochi was good too but i just feel that it could have been much better. I havent played any of the other ones so i dont know what they are like

Obviously only 5 people here have played this series. I liked the depth of the storyline and the attachment I felt when I played Kessen III. I like how it broke away from the predictable historical truth. And the customizable elements such as armor, troops, items, weapons, etc. were very extensive. The musical score is quite lovely as well. Just a simply wonderful game series.

Btw how DW3 better than DW4 & 5? I havent played DW3 so for me DW5 is the best DW. The only thing I think DW4 is better than 5 is the enemy AI and the versus mode.

Posts: 2,739 Group: Members Member #4,229 Joined: November 17, 2006	DW3 and XL and SW1 and XL are the four games which KOEI can never seem to surpass. they have a sense of noir that i still find appealing, i do not like all the bright battlefields from DW5 and SW2.(i will say SW2:XL looks much better). the storytelling in both is superior to me, with the longer Musou(in both) and branching story paths in SW1. the characters in all these games(especially the less popular characters) are far more engaging and well portrayed. and of course, they have the Japanese VA option , which i SORELY miss, as KOEI have hired the worst VA actors ever to grace games in the succeeding versions. SW2 being the worst Va known to man. i also really enjoy the Kessen series.
