Let's talk about the laziness of this game and how KOEI couldn't spring a few of the characters with more quotes, interaction and in game battle time. As for me, I kept bring this up for the simple fact that I have been very disappoint with the lack of role that Liu Bei had in this game. Including his interactions with other characters. Just from playing Shu's storyline, I was getting frustrated with having to constantly search for him and end up finding out that he wasn't there or it was someone else like Yuan Shao. How annoying. And not once was he on the battlefield as a enemy or ally. >_> So share your compliants but let's try not to flame when doing it. |

Since Liu Bei has always been my second favorite, just in front of Sun Quan, I would have to agree. He doesn't get much attention at all, apart from the fact they keep searching for him on and on. They should of just done to him, what they did with Jian and Cao. By letting Shu rescue him on the last stage so he can fight one final battle. |

I loved how Shu's storyline got dumbed down in this game. Zhao Yun's sole motivation to fight in their story got old pretty fast... Couldn't care less for Liu Bei. |

I think the game is really good, they are some bugs and parts that felt lazy however.. - For example how sometimes the special moves (R1) doesn't work. This is rather annoying at times and I think it could have been easily fixed. Also they could have added more events during battle, the story in general does seem a bit lackluster at times. |

I applaud you. The world is twisted and messed up, and he simply cares about finding ONE man. Not even allying his strong forces to the coalition. Makes Zhao Yun seems slightly selfish and ignorant. And that goes for Yukimura, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhuge Liang too. And I'm sorry to say, most of Wu. Yes...my precious Cheng Pu is guilty of this.

It's not a bug (geez, I've said that too many times already >_>). Certain Special attacks just stop working at some point and you need to level up profiency before you use them again. Personal Items allow you to use them all the time. But everyone should know by now that KOEI is always lazy with their Warriors games. They never seem to aim for perfection and certain features are always full of holes. I still don't understand what was the point of removing useful minor features like horse and deadlock bars or why they didn't bother to improve AI (play on Chaos and you get my point). |

Deadlock bars would mean they'd have to ad victory moves for DW characters. God forbid. The horse bar...good point. |

Not necessarily. Deadlock bar would just make deadlocks so much easier (although deadlocks haven't given me much trouble in WO yet). |

Yeah, deadlocks seem easier in WO. I could almost never win deadlocks in DW, but in WO I haven't lost 1

@Nash: That is true, Zhao Yun wasn't a quitter searching for Liu Bei but for them to kept dragging it out into the last stage was just ridiculous imo. @LoW: The deadlock has actually been very easy in this game without the gauge. It basically has the same effect and feel like SW2 which is why the deadlocks have been easy to overcome. If you have the Luck ability equipped as well, that helps too, I think. |

They actually improved the interactions because some characters talk in boards they aren't even suppose to be involved in. You can't expect everyone to interact with everyone in a game like this. We got 79 characters to play so you knew it was gonna have holes in it here and there. You can expect DW6 to improve on all their flaws though. I think this game was just a good way for Koei to make money to put into DW6 since it is gonna take a lot of money to make. This was the perfect idea to draw us all into buying another game that might not be perfect but the idea of the two games combining is too interesting to resist. |

It seems so strange that the AI in WO is so much toned down compared to Samurai Warriors 2- which it seems to draw upon the most. I'm able to attack the back of guarding officers quite easily like I used to be able to in past Dynasty Warriors games... and its too bad that they shunned good A.I. in favor officers simply having more strength. That doesn't develop a smart player- that develops a type of player who will use the cheapest/strongest characters just to be able to win. I'd say out of all the Koei games, Dynasty Warriors 4 with the XL addition and Samurai Warriors 2 had the best AI ever. DW4XL almost to a fault since in duels the enemy was SMART as hell. Pulling off their musou at the right time and abusing their true musou when they were low in health. |

Didn't like Shu's story much, though the 2nd stage will never fail to make me laugh whenever Xing Cai appears as the interacting character. Hee, more fuel for the yuri fire (OFF TOPIC SORRY). Anyways, that was pretty meh of a story, and the AI deficiency, yep, that sucked. |
