So last night I stayed up til about 3 AM getting all the Xbox achievements and unlocking every character, I played once through with Orochi, Da Ji, and Lu Bu to try them out then I figured I could go to sleep and play them more in the morning. I tried turning on my 360 and could only make it to the menu. So after several attempts, I open the case and there's my disc, on the back with 2 MASSIVE scratches. So the farthest I got with several attempts was only to the Orochi loading screen which never lead me anywhere. I know for a fact I didn't do it because the onlky time I didn't play Orochi it was in it's case. Did I play it too much? My Wii and PS3 seem to never have caused thisl.

Disc Cleaners don't fix scratches.

Best bet is to take it to the place you took it to and to ask for a refund

I hope you kept your reciept because if you did you should be able to return your disc for a new one for no charge.

Some Xbox's have loose or unstalbe CD Drives, yours might have that problem so you may need to watch out for that later on.

A few selection of stores have disc scratch removers that cost £5 or less, but that's in the UK. I don't think the likes of GAME, HMV, have this.

These machines just simply remove the scratches by filling them in with whatever it is. The best thing out there to help with your damaged discs in all honesty.

Oh, and btw don't feel too bad I've had this happen to me many times before. One of them was with my SW2 game for my PS2. And you can imagine how angry I would of been, only to have it destroyed within 30 mins or so. Plus the PS2 was working fine at the time.

I got through midway of the first stage only to have it lagging all over the place with the sound going on and off.

Later looked at the disc and found a very small marking near the rim, that was so deep that it wasn't a scratch and couldn't be.

This marking couldn't be removed by the machine as it was so deep amongst the files. And obviously had damaged the files because it was that deep.

Anyway, I sent it back only to not see a replacement return, even though they said they would. But it might not of made the correct journey back to gameplay lol. You see? I laugh at this kind of thing now. And I trust them in a way, having ordered 15-20 games from there altogether over the last 5 years.

Honestly I don't see why the store should refund me. MY x-box did it, they had nothing ot do with it, the console was fine, it's really more of a Microsoft issue than the local distribution stores. It just sucks because, until Guitar Hero, it's relaly the only thing on 360 I play, everything else is FPS

Did you by any chance move your 360 while playing it? Are you sure nobody else played it?

No I haven't touched it, and no one else in my house plays Orochi, my other brother has his own 360, and my brother hasnt had time to play anything. Now my Xbox isnt even loading to play Skate., I think I've about given up on Microsoft at this point, same thing happened with my original X-box.
