@thasnain: please use the edit feature instead of double posting. thanks But ya, some power types are more vulnerable then others, such as Yoshimoto. Same goes with certain Tech types. Like when ever I play as Cao Ren(at least in WO1) it seemed whenever I attacked anybody that enemies would just break through my attack, but I play as someone such as Zhao Yun and no one breaks through my attack. |

@Sonic - You can blame the stupid no-flinching glitch for that. Taishi Ci, Xu Zhu, and Xing Cai also have that inability to flinch enemies with their normal attacks. All four characters still have that problem in WO2 - at least in the Japanese and US console versions - but it doesn't get in the way of Cao Ren's overpowered -ex spam. I only ever notice it when I'm Leeroying with his C2-ex and a peon hits me during the first strike. But I give him Stability before going with the Leeroy offense, so this only causes a bit of damage instead of interrupting the charge. (This is shown a couple of times in the Maou Sairin solo run I did with him.) Before he gets Stability, there's C3 and C3-ex with its absurdly long reach.Yoshimoto is quite vulnerable because his charges have such long start-up time and lag. I haven't tried him out with Highflier yet to see if that helps his defense. Edited by Rydain, Dec 14 2008, 08:11 PM.

lol Sure that Yoshimoto is vulnerable XD Hopefully in dream stage there're Xing Cai & Ginchiyo with him XD Well as in WO, I like to play an "equal-class" team with a Power, a Speed & a Technique character like all the three classes ![]() Also it happen I've a team with 3 Power/Speed/Tech or 2Tech1Pow or 2Speed1Power, or etc of course XD All the classes have their own uses

Speed. With almost every character within that category, combos are easy to execute, traveling is a breeze, and I needn't not worry about Musou consumption most of the time. If I had to have all characters one type, I'd have them all Speed. |

i prefer speed class, with their cut off attacks suddenly, masamune is one of my favroute, best work with tenbu and spam R1 and R2 with jump charges attacks, that realy turn him into a "one eye dragon" |

*Voted Speed and saw results* I used to hate speed type back in WO1 since it is the terrible class in Chaos mode. But now in WO2, there is weapon upgrade system which changes everything. |

No they are not resistant to damage. They still take damage normally, just that they won't stagger when being hit with normal attacks while attacking. Maybe you meant that but used the wrong term. |

Tech owns. because they all have like 5 more attacks than everybody else. plus they all have like freaking awesome looking weapons and they are super effective soo yeah... speed is pretty awesome too because they speed jump. ya know power does good but, the range sucks. |

It's a hard question. All of them have good defensive resources: Power Class have autoguard, Speed chars with jump cancel and Tech having counter. But when it comes to offense, i think Tech characters have advantage, as the move executed with r1 usually is faster and powerful (hmmm, like Dian Wei C3 with R1)... It depends on who I'm facing. I usually go with tech guys however, when ever I try to defeat bosses on Hard or Chaos difficulty I always get my ass kicked because I can't stop them. However, there a breeze to defeat with Orochi. SO for large quantites of people- Tech; For bosses- Power. |
