Note: All characters must be unlocked in Story Mode only. Preferably normal difficulty since on easy allies don't block and have shorter life bars. Therefore this causes more aggro. SHU: Zhao Yun: Initially Unlocked Guan Yu: Clear Shu Chapter 7 Zhang Fei: Clear Shu Chapter 7 Zhuge Liang: Clear Shu Chapter 7 Liu Bei: Clear Shu Chapter 8 Ma Chao: SW Chapter 2-X Brief: Allow all peasants to escape to Zenkoji. Step-by-step: Move foward, head south and defeat Guo Huai. Then head slightly south-east and clear the officers around Ma Chao. Kill off the gate slightly north and await the peasants to arrive and ask for your aid. Then Ieyasu Tokuagawa will arrive, but ignore him for now as Huang Zhong keeps him at bay. Stay with the peasants for a while and keep them protected at all costs. Remember to also once in a while check the start menu map to see the locations of the surrounding officer threats. You will notice that Li Meng and Dong Zhuo are nearby, so slay both of them before they cause too much trouble. When comfortable secure the gate north to stop the soldier harassal and defeat Tokugawa as well as his two accompany officers saving Huang Zhong in the process. Then you will see the peasants move so follow them and stick to them like glue to paper. Sima Yi will use one of Zhuge Liang's ambushes and this will cause 2 officers to appear in the maze, one being right in front of you. Deng Ai is running loose elsewhere. So find and slay him as quickly as possible. Hint: Aim for the middle person in any group which will save you time and will also make the other members of the group run away. The peasants will then escape to Zenkoji. So now finish this stage by killing Sima Yi. Huang Zhong: Clear SW Chapter 1 Jiang Wei: Shu Chapter 2-X Brief: Accomplish both the retreats and cause Jiang Wei's springing ambush to occur. Head west and lure the 2 officers out. Hint: You can do this a few ways: 1. Backwards walking close to them for a few seconds at a time. 2. Hit them once to grab their attention. 3. Let them hit you while blocking. Anyway, lure them to the middle where you started this stage. And once they're lured do the same to the east side. His ambush will then spring to action and Zhang He as well as Da Qiao will arrive. So defeat the nearby officers before they retreat. Though they won't get far being severely outnumbered and with you on their trail. Finish the stage by killing Zhang He and Da Qiao. Wei Yan: Clear Shu Chapter 3 Pang Tong: Clear Wei Chapter 4 Yue Ying: Clear Shu Chapter 2 Guang Ping: Clear SW Chapter 1 Xing Cai: Initially Unlocked WEI: Cao Pi: Initially Unlocked Cao Ren: Clear SW Chapter 5-X Brief: Rescue Kenshin and Shingen within 2 minutes and complete all 3 cavalry protection missions. Move straight to Shingen and Kenshin whilst defeating the officers nearby. The Takeda cavalry will arrive. Aid the 1 man horsemen, but don't worry as he can hold his own on the battlefield. Start by clearing the north force and Man Chong. Then head west with the cavalry and defeat Takatora Todo, then Chen Shi who will be at the horses destination, allowing the cavalry to flee and also allowing us to move to step 2. Return east and guard the 2nd cavalry who will get distracted by Ekei Ankokuji. Defeat him and let the cavalry escape. Then return to the 3rd and last protection mission and do the same. He may once again get distracted, but he may not, depending on how quick you were. But if so, defeat Yoshitsugu Otani and Satale Gamo. Cao Ren will now be close so slay him as fast as possible and from now on he will join your army, but not until the stage end. The 3rd cavalry will then depart and give way to Kanetsugu's Naoe's grand army entrance. Finish the stage by defeating Cao Pi and Sun Quan. Pang De: Shu Chapter 3-X Brief: Save the Hojo. And it doesn't matter if you've saved one or two and then they later on die as this will not prevent you from getting Pang De as a playable character. Mount and head and save Ujitery Hojo, then west to Norihide Matsuda, then north-east for Ujinao Hojo. East to Ujinori Uesugi and finally north to Ujimasa Hojo. Pang De will announce that the Hojo have survived and will doubt himself because of this lack of path he has. Finish the stage by defeating Pang De. Xiahou Dun: Clear Wei Chapter 4 Dian Wei: Clear Wei Chapter 7 Xu Zhu: Clear Wei Chapter 1 Cao Cao: Clear Wei Chapter 7 Xiahou Yuan: Clear Wei Chapter 4 Zhang Liao: Initially Unlocked Sima Yi: SW Chapter 6-X Brief: Foil Sima Yi's plan by defeating both of the retreating officers. Head forward and slay the stranded Cottonmouth. Then north to the Mamushi. After that Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi will appear attempting for you to give pursuit by chasing the officers into the seperate forts. So don't allow this to happen by first of all slaying the yelling Yelowbelly in front of you and then the struggling Urutu to the south. Sima Yi's plain will foil so finish the stage as you would. Xu Huang: Initially Unlocked Zhang He: Wei Chapter 2-X Brief: Save Zhang He and prevent the main base from being taken. Note: Use Cao Pi or you will have to guide him to his location yourself. This will save a lot of time and hassle. Proceed north and defeat Dailai Dongzhu and Zhu Rong's personal ambush. Move further north and defeat the unit attacking Zhang He as the message implies. Finish the stage by defeating all officers while protecting Zhang He and the Wei base. Zhen Ji: Wei Chapter 6-X Brief: Defeat the Sorcerers at the garissons and the phantom Cao Pi within 5 minutes. Hint: You must be quick so mount as much as possible. Or try to find any speed boots if your using a naturally fast character. Move east and kill Mitsuyasu Shimoru. She, Zhen Ji, will then announce her suspicions. Slay Shigemoto Makabe and Fusamoto Makabe, head east and remove of the 3 officers in Zhen Ji's path. Not forgetting the Sorcerer. Lastly the gate which will help Zhen Ji later on progress more smoothly and with little distraction. Move south and kill off Mitsuuji Ujie and the Sorcerer. Then west and defeat the next Sorcerer who is all alone. Quickly go north and defeat Yoshinobu Satake and his allie Sorcerer. After that west to vanguish Yoshishige Satake. Once again proceed north and vanguish Tao Qian plus Fan Chou as well as the last Sorcerer. Retreat south-east to Zhen Ji and help her out by removing all obstacles. Push her in a northerly direction which will then prompt the phantom Cao Pi to appear. So despose of him as quickly as you can. Charge Dong Zhuo and win the stage. WU: Sun Ce: Initially Unlocked Da Qiao: Wu Chapter 5-X. Meet Da Qiao before the enemy do. MORE COMING SOON.... Xiao Qiao: Clear SW Chapter 3 Zhou Tai: Clear Wu Chapter 6 Ling Tong: Clear SW Chapter 5 Zhou Yu: Clear Wu Chapter 1 Lu Xun: SW Chapter 2-X Brief: Escort Lu Xun back to HQ to where Nobunaga Oda is stationed. Start by defeating Tamehiro Hiratsuka and Masataka Kasahara. Then proceed east and slay Shigemasa Toda as well as Hidemoto Mori. Go over the small bridge and head south ignoring Zhang Liao's defensive stance. Carry on into the castle and rescue Lu Xun who's being attacked by Suketada Ogawa. After that aid Lu Xun back by slaying Hiroie Kikkawa. Zhang Liao will now also intervene so do the same to him as you did the others. The last 2 officers blocking your retreat will be Hao Zhao and Naoyasu Akaza. Once they've been dealt with retreat back with Lu Xun over the few bridges that you came through earlier and head towards Nobunaga Oda. Taishi Ci: Clear Wu Chapter 2 Sun Shang Xiang: Clear Wu Chapter 5 Sun Jian: Clear Wu Chapter 7 Sun Quan: Clear Wu Chapter 7 Lu Meng: Clear Wu Chapter 3 Gan Ning: Clear Wei Chapter 6 Huang Gai: Clear Wei Chapter 6 OTHERS: Diao Chan: Wei Chapter 5-X Brief: Rescue Diao Chan and win the stage. Begin by heading a few paces up and defeating Niu Fu. When that's done either secure the gate ahead or deal straight away with Li Su who is east of the gate. Once again move forward by heading north and managing with the Yellowbelly who get's in your way. Moving west slightly to Guo Si and Li Jue who are blocking the third and final gate to Diao Chan. She is surrounded, Dong Zhuo being one of them. Do the obvious and kill all in your path. Once Dong Zhuo is dealt with Lu Bu will arrive to be your third and final opponent. Lu Bu: Defeat him on all Gaiden(8-X) levels by defeating him personally. And not running from him at anytime on any stage or you will spoil your chance. Dong Zhuo: SW Chapter 4-X Brief: Prevent all 3 Supply Captains from reaching Dong Zhuo. Move to the middle of the stage, defeating the 2 officers, Hu Che Er and Li Su. As well as listening to Hideyoshi's orders by chasing after the first Supply Captain and slaying him before he reaches Dong Zhou. Niu Fu will order a attack which will intend to be a distraction for later on. But if you can, catch up to him and deal with him by heading north-east. However, Fusamoto Makabe will be ahead of him by the time you reach Niu Fu. Though ignore him for now. By now you would of been alerted of the incoming second to last Supply Captain. So when it does, get to him quickly. Since he appears just south of the middle zone and therefore already close. After that, defeat Xu Rong and Zhang Ji who are both nearby. Ina will then advance, but ignore her for now by taking care of Fusamoto Makabe instead, just to give Hideyoshi some support. Dong Min will be close by the time the last Supply Captain arrives with Lu Bu. Return and defeat both as well as Ina and Yoshinobu Satake and of corse Dong Min. Complete the stage. Yuan Shao: Clear Shu Chapter 5 Zhang Jiao: Clear SW Chapter 3 Meng Huo: Clear Shu Chapter 4 Zhu Rong: Clear Shu Chapter 4 Zuo Ci: Finish all stories, not including the Gaidens Orochi: Unlock all characters Da Ji: Clear every stage, including the Gaidens. How to unlock the Gaidens: All on Chapter 7 SW: Kill 1,000 Wu: Rescue Sun Quan and Sun Jian within 3 minutes Shu: Escape the burning fort within 2 minutes Wei: Defeat the defected Da Ji within 1 minute SW/SW2 COMING NEXT WEEK! |
