His new design is absolutely perfect for him, his new weapon is great, his new moveset is much better, and his personality isn't quite as extreme as before. I love how they fixed that personality. I enjoyed his arrogance true, but I like it when it's not smack you in the face. I can't wait for him to get a musou mode.

Same goes to me. In WO, he looks a bit...pathetic, especially in the Shu story. I guess it's because of his haughtynes...I prefer him to be more noble but not neccessaryly haughty or such.

"Attack the enemy while they are overawed by my presece!" "How am I supposed to win against an army of ghosts?" "But you'll have to do better if you want to serve as my army." He's one of the ones who was either bad or well below average in DW5, and got a huge boost from some awesome special in WO.

He has a really good moveset for his sword and i like how he looks while hes attacking. In both DW5 and DW6 hes just a monster. I didnt use him much in DW4. There is nothing too flashy about some of his moves but other moves are pretty impressive. For some reason i really like his musou. Even though its the same as Sun Quan, Sun Jian, Liu Bei, and i think thats it....

I like both Cao Pi and Sun Quan better , I guess its his personallity that bugs me the most. He is always so ignorant, and Koei has pushed that more lately. He acts like a total coward and retard in DW6 and in WO, when Zhao Yun comes to save Liu Bei and its Yuan Shao instead, he acts very ignorant right there obviously. He has always had some pretty decent moves IMO. He is actually about 1 of 30 characters that I maxed in WO, of cource I did that by randomness though

He is very funny at the battle at Guan Du. He is so arrogant and boasting every time that make him so humoros. :lol: His hair in DW6 is so beautiful :shock: I don't believe he is made to be having long, smooth, blonde hair!

He gets two excellent charge attacks for his C5(groundblast) and C6(360* shockwave.) His s-string has decent range and speed, with plenty of sweeping attacks. What else do you need? In DW6(Sp), I'd put him smack in the middle of the moveset spectrum. His s-string is decent as usual, and his T-string has that good ol' shockwave back as the final hit. His Hold-T is also great in front of crowds. He's just outshined by the likes of Zhang Liao, Sun Shang Xiang, Cao Pi, Zhang Fei, and other characters who have excellent movesets rather than just decent ones.

Yuan Shao is definately my favorite other, although if I was alive in that period I would want to kick his ass for being so up his own . I think his movesets have never been terrible, I mean they aren't outstanding but definately do-able. If he gets a story he was got to have something Yoshimoto-ish, goes around expressing how proud he is and that he believes everybody should/would love him. He makes me lol .

Why do they even bother!!!! Posts: 2,393 Group: Members Member #9,380 Joined: August 25, 2007	Yuan Shao move set is not as bad as Yoshimoto. I think his move set is average not crap. His personality is awesome... Its always so funny... Koei makes Yuan always look so weak even though they basically got everything. Yuan Shao is my favourite others character along with Zuo Ci.
