He's my fav Wu character. He's a great general in both novel and history. He has a great MS and musou attack. I can't wait til we get a better look at him.

In game he has a top tier moveset, a great appearance and one of my favorite personalities. In DW6, I believe he will be even better, with his black, segmented sword, black armor and DW4 style helmet. In history, he was a very talented and loyal general who performed well in many battles(Sun Ce's campaigns, Red Cliffs, He Fei, Yi Ling, etc.) and saved Sun Quan multiple times from enemy forces with no regard for his own safety.

He has a great weapon, he's strong, and he is possibly the most reliable general in the whole game. The lengths he went to just to ensure the protection of Sun Quan are amazing. I love his "Silent but Deadly" persona. :ph43r:

General Posts: 202 Group: Banned Member #10,197 Joined: October 7, 2007	He originally served as one of Sun Ce's bodyguards, alongside his former comrade in piracy Jiang Qin, but was eventually promoted to lead troops. Numerous times throughout his career, he saved Sun Quan from danger by risking his own life. He was scarred for life by saving the then-young Sun Quan from an attack of Shanyue rebels while Sun Ce was away on campaign, suffering twelve deep wounds from the battle. Later in life, he rescued Sun Quan yet again, this time from Zhang Liao's ambush at the Battle of Hefei. After this astonishing feat, having charged enemy lines to accomplish the rescue, Sun Quan would for the rest of his living days request Zhou Tai present at his side during all major battles. The two shared a bond of friendship, and it was said that Sun Quan held none of his generals in higher regard. When Sun Quan promoted Zhou Tai to Controller of Ruxu, the other generals would not accept Zhou Tai's command at first, citing his common background. Thus Sun Quan made a special trip to Ruxu, where during a party, he personally brought Zhou Tai wine and asked for him to remove his outer garments. Pointing at each scar, Sun Quan asked Zhou Tai the story behind it, whereupon Zhou Tai would respond with his memories of past battles. The other officers gained much respect for Zhou Tai and accepted his command.

I especially want to see his new sword. Although I think the one he's seen using in the video is his 3rd.

Posts: 3,673 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	Uh first off, this topic is to talk about Zhou Tai, not share us his bio from another site. >_> To stay on topic, I have always liked Zhou Tai not only because he kept saving Sun Quan but he stays loyal and true to himself and the rest of Wu. He has a few good attacks like his charge attack and C5 which I find to be helpful at times. He is also very useful on a horse which is a plus.

Soldier Posts: 13 Group: Members Member #10,668 Joined: October 28, 2007	Zhou Tai is my favourite Wu character...first and foremost, I think his weapon and moveset are brilliant with the exception of his C5 in DW5. His personality is also important because he doesn't say a lot but he manages to make a point with what he does say. His role in the games is also usually done well, he serves as Sun Quan's bodyguard and saves his life several times in his Musou Mode.
	8 swords are better then two...

He's so serious, mysterious and protecting! This guy's really cool! And his moveset was very unique! Until they changed it in DW6! He's still pretty good in DW6. Surprisingly, he has a bit more range than Yuan and Zhong with his sword. Also has better stats IMO. Though I liked the tachi, this isn't a bad replacement. Once they do change his moveset, I do hope it moves back in that direction a bit.

He is also one of those characters I tend to forget about since he has nothing that really stands out to me. His moveset is good and very quick but his musou attack is rooted on the spot so its useless if you miss. His character design is another thing I dont like, its the fact he looks more like a Japanese samurai when its supposed China So off to Samurai Warriors with him

With a useful/dangerous musou attack if caught, and a killer R1 implemented in WO series, this guy is definitely one of the best from Wu.

Through Light, Through Darkness Posts: 1,331 Group: Moderators Member #11,841 Joined: December 12, 2007 Gender Male	Back in DW4, I got beaten all the time in VS mode by my brother thanks to Zhou Tai's musou, so I haven't grown very fond of Zhou Tai for this, but hes definately one of the greatest dissapointments in DW6, they removed his katana for a more generic weapon. :angry:

He may be a man of few words, but you know he's someone you can always rely on and trust to have your back. His quiet yet bad ass demeanor kinda remind me of Boba Fett from Star Wars. Personally, I thought his ending in DW5 was one of the best... . There's Sun Quan, of all people, encouraging Zhou Tai to get drunk and lighten up. But Zhou Tai is certainly no lightweight apparently when it comes to musou wine. "That's good stuff." That had me laughing for quite sometime. I haven't played as him in DW6 yet, but I heard he's slower. : /
